• Nvidia 3D VISION Surround Fix - Improvements in UI interactions when using NVidia 3D Vision.
• UI Fix - (French & Portuguese) Online session text updated for easier readability in French & Portuguese languages.
• Career Fix - Fixed configuration issues which intermittently caused certain races to use the qualifying results for the starting grid positions rather than the previous race results in reverse.
• AMD CrossFire Fix - Resolved graphical issues which could appear during menu transitions when CrossFire is enabled.
• Online Fix - Fixed disconnection issues which could potentially cause checkpoint sessions to end prematurely if hosts lose their online connection.
• Online Fix - Resolved issues which sporadically caused session length times to cease displaying within the voting screen.
• UI Fix - Fixed rare instances of the total points OSD appearing within a drift zone then persisting on race results and rewards screens after drift event.

PC Patch - 3rd July
Yesterday we released a patch for GRID Autosport that fixes a number of issues. Apologies for the delay in releasing these, moving forward we're putting in place a system that will ensure all patch notes are made public prior to the patch going live. 

• Controller Fix - Improved compatibility of Speedlink Darkfire Racing Wheel when using the latest available drivers.
• Controller Fix - Resolved instances of players being able to assign incorrect settings on wheel controllers.
• Nvidia SLI Fix - Resolved instances of certain SLI configurations causing particle smoke to flicker.
• Physics Fix - Fixed rare instances of missing physics on detached pieces of vehicle bodywork.
• Graphical Fix - (DX10) - Resolved DirectX10 compatibility issues which caused particle rendering issues on certain PC configurations.
• AMD Eyefinity Fix - Improved Eyefinity compatibility within cockpit cams when using the 3X1 configuration.

Xbox 360 Patch - 24th June // Day 1
• Stability Improvement - Dallara Indycar – Sporadic crashes when loading into events using the Indycar.
• Online Fix - Incorrect reference to 'downloadable content' used on when purchasing DLC.
• Splitscreen Fix - Text strings updated in event rules screen for all disciplines.
• Stability Improvement - Fixed instances of the game entering an unresponsive state after uplink removal whilst completing RaceNet Challenge events.
• Stability Improvement - Fixed stability issues when host disconnects during rolling start events.
• Stability Improvement - Fixed issues when booting the game with 2 or more pads active, the game giving all control to the "highest numbered" pad.
• RaceNet Fix - RaceNet Club names now use verified strings within the online newsfeed and loading screens.
• Online Fix - Unavailable tracks are no longer searchable via the online custom search filters.

    • Save Fix - Added preventative measures within the save system to avoid corrupt or invalid data with certain controller configurations.
    • Nvidia 3D VISION Fix - Resolved water corruption issues when racing in 3d splitscreen mode.
    • Stability Improvement - Improved the stability of the game when using content from DLC packages.

    • Stability Improvement - Improved the stability of the game when navigating through the front end menus of the game for extended periods.

    • Save Fix - Added chunk header to DLC initialisation to help prevent future corruption of save games. 
    • Text Fix - (Japanese) - Fixed issues which prevented certain text strings from appearing correctly in Japanese language. 
    • Audio Fix - (Splitscreen) - Added a preventative fix to stop mode specific music from playing incorrectly within the menu selection screens after a race session had previously finished. 
    • Online Fix - The online repairs/wear and tear functionality has been reworked following feedback from the community. 
    • Online Fix - A restorative fix has been implemented to ensure that players who had previously lost vehicle level data (reset to level one) will now have this data partially restored. 
    • Graphical Fix - Resolved issues on certain PC configurations which caused lighting artifacts on night races when advanced lighting was enabled.

    We're currently in the process of pushing live a small PC patch that fixes an issue with the G27 steering wheel. This should solve the issue players are having with the clutch that occurred recently.

    PC Patch - September 5th

    We're in the process of pushing a patch live on PC, this will focus on the Impact ratings and tweaks to the match making process. 

    Impact Ratings
     - These should now be working correctly within playlists 

    Matchmaking
     - We've made some adjustments to the matchmaking process, in particular surrounding the download regions. As of now, you should now be able to find players outside of your region a lot more easier

    We’re busy putting the final touches together for the latest GRID Autosport patch for PC, which we're expecting to go live later this week. Changes include support for the upcoming Drag Racing DLC pack, along with fixes around vehicle upgrades and improvements made to the official playlists.

    Alongside this we’re pleased to announce that we are adding Oculus Rift support to GRID Autosport. 

    • Oculus Rift - Added code support to enable Oculus Rift compatibility, coupled with minor optimisations for the virtual reality experience.
    • Drag mode addition - Additional code for the new "Drag" race mode.
    • Community Requested Fix - Repair costs of high mileage vehicles get progressively too high, this has been resolved.
    • Online Fix - To improve the online experience, player impact ratings are now enabled by default.
    • Community Requested Fix - Vehicle upgrades were fully functional even when vehicle tuning is disabled, this has been resolved.
    • DLC Support - Various fixes to ensure full compatibility of the Drag DLC, which contain new tracks, cars and game modes.
    • Online Fix - Resolved sporadic instances of network games loading into the race with just your team mate, despite having more players in the lobby.
    • Stability Improvement - Improved stability of the game under certain strained scenarios within the track select screen.
    • Stability Improvement - Improved stability for multi event sessions when using the checkpoint game mode.
    • Community Gift – We will be rewarding all players with 500,000 in-game cash when the patch is applied. This is a small thank you to all who have supported the GRID series and the active community who have given us their constructive feedback.

    Information on the next patch for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will follow shortly.

    A new patch for GRID Autosport is currently being prepared for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and includes a number of fixes and improvements, this patch should be going live anytime now.

    ·        Drag mode addition - Additional code for the new "Drag" race mode. This mode is activated via the purchase of the upcoming "Drag" DLC pack (the DLC pack also contains new track data and vehicle data specifically for this mode).

    ·        Community Requested Fix - Repair costs of high mileage vehicles get progressively too high, this has been resolved.

    ·        Online Fix - To improve the online experience, player impact ratings are now enabled by default.

    ·        Community Requested Fix - Vehicle upgrades were fully functional even when vehicle tuning is disabled, this has been resolved.

    30th October - PC

    We'll shortly be releasing a new patch, which includes both the improved playlists and rear view mirror. The patch is currently being prepared and will be ready for download shortly.

    Change Log
    • Online Fix - Improved variety of gameplay combinations available within the playlists to enrich the experience.
    • Community Requested Feature - Rear View Mirror - Added the rear view mirror functionality to the graphical options. 
    • Steam Fix - Added steam launch option for touch enabled features.
    Please note, due to the inclusion of rear view mirror you may find that you have to re-enter your graphic options.
