F1 2018 features (wishlist)

I really wish Codemasters would add a real career mode. There should be a F2 (GP2) season included as well.
Career mode should start with a test run in a classic race to grant you access to F2 teams, depending on your finishing place.
Then drive F2 seasons, and win respect/reputation with other teams, and F1 teams. When your reputation is high enough, a F1 contract could be offered as a 2nd driver (could also include the reserve driver setup).
Now that would be a greate career setup.
Then F1 and F2 could have online aswell, and F1 and F2 could be in esport events.
It would almost match EA's FIFA.

I wish there is suggestions from engineers about car setup. When you doing practice programs, depends on your driving engineer says "you should consider switching susspension settings to x" . That would be great.

Yeah, I hate having to look online all the time to find out how much downforce or which gear ratios I'll need, nor do I have time to do the testing myself.

#NeverPreOrder. It's preposterous that consumers have to BEG game companies to simply make games that reliably function properly. Consumers do NOT buy video games to waste their recreational time doing the unpaid work of a paid professional tester. It's nonsense to imply game companies have no obligation to deliver games that reliably function properly at launch just because "it's not easy & nothing is perfect & you can't please everybody." A game's "success" is measured by how much it sells, not by how much it's played & enjoyed, so they listen to money more than requests & complaints, and they'll continue selling whatever we continue buying. #VoteWithYourWallet

Fair point. That's a position I've taken myself on other issues. If requests & complaints are marginalized to heavily favor hype & praise, then consumer feedback becomes nothing but a circle-jerk that benefits game companies to the detriment of gamers. Nobody ever seems to be bothered when there are endless "OMG THANK YOU I LOVE THIS GAME IT'S THE BEST EVER" threads, but quite a few folks get triggered when there are numerous (valid) request & complaint threads.
