F1 2018 Button Mapping for Formula GT3

Mike4255Mike4255 Member New Car Smell
At present I have the McLaren Formula Wheel from Fanatec with CSR on XBOX One X which has several buttons a POV and paddles for Manual Clutch. Does anyone know if there are going to be any improvements/additions to the button mapping options in game setup, what’s the point of having all the mapping options in the game if you can only map 6, I would like the option to be able to have a pit limiter button, drs, rear view, menu, pause, fuel up/down, Radio Talk, ERS to state just a few. I had the same issue when I had the Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but alot of people have asked about this so I'm sure there will be some work done towards it. Especially with F1 being partnered with fanatic now.

Same for the thrustmaster f1 wheel. There is an mode that let’s you configure more buttons but that’s only on PC I believe.

the new ps4 wheel for gran turismo has also much more options for all the knobs than there are buttons on a normal controller.

so if it can be done with that wheel, why not with the ps4 f1 wheel or the mclaren wheel as stated above?

now i use my wheel in combination with a controller for the mfd shortcuts and stuff, but i would like to have it all on my wheel
If it ain’t dutch, it ain’t much

Not using a wheel, but on PC there is so much stuff that you can assign a button to... You probably would run out of buttons. You can assign buttons for every engine mode, all setup changes that can be made on track, every single gear(whoever would use that? lol), and so on...
