Can't use TeamSpeak push-to-talk while Dirt Rally is in foreground

PmanRPmanR Member New Car Smell
Hi,

When I have Dirt Rally focused, even if it's in windowed mode, even if TeamSpeak is running as administrator, the game swallows my keyboard inputs and won't let me use my push-to-talk key to speak in TS. I'm on W10 w/ latest updates. It's kind of driving me nuts, anyone ever experience something like this?

[edit] Should mention no other games do this.

I've got my mouse button binded to Caps Lock which's a TS press to talk button.
    I'm on Windows 7 x64.

    It does work for me.

Just tried it in Dirt Showdown, doesn't work there either. What is going on here?

Okay, so apparently all Codemasters games swallow keyboard inputs and don't forward them to the rest of the OS, but not mouse inputs? If I bind push-to-talk to a mouse button it gets picked up in Teamspeak, and a friend confirmed the same happens to him.

    What?

Why is this happening? Can I please get a response from someone on the Codemasters team?
