F1 2017- No Wet tyres?

In about 4 or 5 weekends in my Career we've had heavy rain during some practice sessions, and never once has it recommended the Wet tyres, everything still uses Inters in Light or Heavy rain. Let me know if you guys have had to use Wets in your Career so far or if you're like me and think this is a bug!

Agreed I think in the 2 seasons I've done so far I think I've only used the full wets about 3-5 times each season at most. The rest of the time when it's rained it's only been wet enough for inters.

Nah in 2016, when it was forecast as Heavy Rain, Wets were always the tyre it said to go on. Maybe the new cars this year with much higher downforce and grip just dont need them as much. Only in extreme rain I guess

wets seem rare when you do get them it would be a red flag in today's f1

    Maybe last year was wrong.

In real life it seems is inters everywhere. If rain starts to fall heavier pit full wets and 2 minutes later it's a red flag.

These cars became to fast for rain nowadays.

I dont agree.... at IT Grand Prix in Q you saw Hamilton Sets a good Lap time.  Only because Grosjean crashed and was crying like a baby they stopped. If its raining ok reduce your speed...where is the Problem? MotoGp is riding in every weather cobditions. If they fall down they stand up and ride on or they are out!Thats Sport! Nobody is complaining. F1 drivers (some) are to soft imo!

    So... Like I said...

A couple of minutes in full wets and Red flag

Motorbikes are different. The problem here I think is having the cars relying on downforce, so when they aquaplane they loose all that downforce and are just useless and impossible to drive. Nothing can be done to improve this probably.
