How similar are the Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer and the TM TX-Racing wheel for PC/XB1?

I currently have the TS-PC Racer, which is obviously only PC compatible, but since i have the Xbox One i was debating whether to get the TX Racer as it seems similar, and it works on xbox one. Just wanted to hear an opinion if possible about this; if anyone who has the TX (or has been on both) are they very similar feel? With the FFB and all the internals of it, as i believe both have the brushless motor which is certainly a positive for the XB1 compatible wheel, but all in all are they both very similar to eachother.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Regarding the base, biggest difference in my opinion is the power supply. (i dont own the ts-pc, i only know it from reviews, i had the tx for 2 years and i now have the t300rs because i switched to playstation)

On tx it is inside the base, so you can get overheating issues, wich causes the ffb to fade a bit.

When you go for the tx base, make sure you set the "fan always on" option on. This will help keep the base cool and (mostly) withouth ffb fading issues.

The TX is a cheaper model and a bit weaker, hard to tell how much of a downgrade it will feel to you on a given title.

The TS-XW Racer would be the match for your TS-PC, and since it's compatible with both PC and Xbox, you could sell the TS-PC and buy the TS-XW.

Ah maybe i’ve been getting confused, possibly it was that one i’ve been meaning about wanting then, but when i looked on the website it was obviously only the other xb1 compatible base that was there that i linked in the op so didn’t see. At the end of the day if i get one, i atleast want it to be pretty much equal to the TS-PC Racer.

Where’s the best place to purchase the TX-SW from?

    Thanka for the reply though!

The TS-XW is a brand new wheel, that basically amounts to TS-PC base with Xbox compatibility and a prettier steering (personal taste blah blah and all that), since it's brand new it might be in short supply right now...
