What's Your Favourote Fast Food Restaurant and Fizzy Drink?

McStanleyMcStanley Member New Car Smell
Hi. Here is just a fun, off-topic, topic! Just wondering what fast food we eat and which fizzy drinks others like. If You don't eat fast food or you don't drink fizzy drinks, but you like the other, then only post one. That's fine. If you don't either, then simply post that you don't like them. Here are some suggestions for both.

Fast Food:
McDonald's
Burger King
KFC
Pizza Hut
Domino's
Subway
Local Fish and Chip Shop
Local Chinese / Indian Takeaway

Fizzy Drink:
Coca-Cola
Pepsi
Tango
Fanta
Sprite
Lemonade

I hope that is a long enough list to help you out. If I have missed one from both, please list it, if's your favourite. I didn't want a make list of everything, otherwise the list unrolled, might travel around the world 5 times! :D

My favourite fast food is: KFC and my favourite fizzy drink is: Pepsi. Now it's your turn...

I have a shocking weakness for the burgers from my local chicken and chip shop. As for drinks I am never more than an inch away from an ice cold can of Coke No Sugar :)

Are you signing your name at the end of your posts? Or is that part of your sig? Cos we can see it's you posting already you know :p

Fast food has gotta be McDonalds mainly, but I do love Pizza Hut and Domino's, and every Friday night I order pizza from my local pizza place. I don't like chicken very much so KFC and Miss Millies are usually a no for me, and Burger King always tastes soapy. Plus Burger King staff have messed up my order on 2 of the 4 times I've been into one, where I can't ever remember having a messed up order from McDonalds.

Fizzy drinks I always have a bottle or 2 of Irn Bru in the fridge, can't live without it! And I like pretty much all the rest of them with Dr Pepper and Vanilla Coke being favourites. I hate lemonade though.

That's me signing my name after every post I make. I like doing that on forums.

I like McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut and Domino's too, nut my number 1 favourite has to be KFC.

Same story with fizzy drinks. I love Coca-Cola, but my favourite is and always will be Pepsi!

McStanley - Opps, I did it again! :D

I was at Coles the other day and there are just so many Coke options that I just gave up and got some sparkling mineral water instead.

In N' Out with animal style fries with a Chocolate Milkshake. If I had a soda though I would choose Dr. Pepper. B)
I love racing. Going for the perfectly clean, well executed overtake is the best feeling. If I have to though, I might move you out of my way (no hard feelings).

What's the difference between Coco-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola No Sugar? Isn't it the same drink, just with a different name on the label?

No Sugar tastes more like the real thing than Zero. Something to do with the syrup formula and the amount of Aspartame used (the artificial sweetener), its a subtle difference but when No Sugar came out a few months ago I immediately thought it was an improvement...haven't even had a drink of Zero since. :)

I live by the rule, if I'm drinking soda might as well go all out for the real thing.  :D

Ah man, this is my kinda thread!

In terms of fast food, it's gotta be McDonalds. I'm a real sucker for chicken, so here's what my order usually looks like.

    - 5 Chicken Selects (+ sweet n sour sauce)
    - Large chips
    - Coca-Cola
    - McFlurry (free with my NUS card, love it)
    - 9 Chicken Nuggets (side)

If I'm feeling lazy, which is pretty often ngl, I always go for a Domino's. I love the New Yorker pizza (bacon, mushroom, ham, pepperoni).

For fizzy drinks, again, Coca Cola is always my best bet. If it's summer, maybe a Fanta.

That's quite a large order, you place at McDonald's! Not sure I could eat all of that! I love my chicken too. I love McDonald's Chicken McNuggets and their Chicken Selects.

One of my favorite places to get chicken stripes is the Powell Butte Store / gas station over here in Oregon. They are sooooo good. I also get a side of Jo-Jo's and an orange soda or iced tea.

Can you send some of those chicken stripes over to me, DiRTKiNG808, in the UK please?! :D :)

    What are "Jo-Jo's"?

Jo-Jo's are potato wedges that are fried up and seasoned with different spices so they have a crisp outside and a soft inside. They are super addictive and delicious. They are like big French fries or I think you call them chips. Either way they are awesome. I would send you some if I could. Shipping rates are terrible  ;)

No, we don't call those chips. We call them potato wedges here in the UK too. They are seasoned. I do eat them, but not very often. I prefer chips or fries better. Chips to us have a thicker shape. Fries are skinny. I prefer fries out of the two. McDonald's, Burger King and KFC serve fries to us in this country. The only places you can go to get chips already cooked and ready to eat immediately are fish and chip shops, that most towns and cities have. Most have more than one. These are nice to have with fish and curry sauce.

Awesome. I love Fish and Chips. Its hard sometimes to find a place that makes really good ones. What batter is normally used in Fish and Chips.

Can you get fish and chips in America can you? I haven't been there, so I wouldn't know.

I haven't a clue what sort of batter is used. I'm not a chef! :D

Ya, you can get them here, you just need to go to the coast or a seafood restaurant. They are usually served with Fries (same fries you get with a cheese burger) and made with beer batter. Sometimes the really good places will serve it with the traditional Chips that you described. If only the two countries would collaborate more. I would love a Euro Spec Ford Escort (the US spec sucks). Well, now I'm off topic, sorry about that. :o

I see. Most restaurants serve fish and chips here. You don't need to travel far to get it. Beer battered fish and chips is really nice. Usually posh restaurants do beer battered here.

The Ford Escort was discontinued here in 1998! The Ford Focus replaced it.
