But why did codemasters make the KERS automatic in f1 2014?

Have a look here, it explains the use of the new ERS system which is automatic in the game, in all honesty you cannot feel when/where it kicks in: http://blog.codemasters.com/f1/08/f1-2014-and-beyond-your-questions-answered/

Racing in a League - Leagues are the mass majority of people to keep playing these games up to the release of the next.

    • Online Practice Sessions are a must. So much time is wasted having to restart the qualifying session. Which causes no online high fuel runs to be tested. (15 minutes is not long enough, why is there no online practice - like there is single player practice)
    • Controller users shouldn't have any advantages, therefore equal.
    • The host of the server should be able to chose where each driver starts if necessary.
    • Setups which actually mean something, not 1-11.

God i miss the good ol' days where most of us still had hope, sadly the meta didn't change and Codies practically stagnated in creativity and officiality imho..... :(

HOLY COW! F1 2014! I completely forgot about this thread. 4+ years. :o
I love racing. Going for the perfectly clean, well executed overtake is the best feeling. If I have to though, I might move you out of my way (no hard feelings).

Braked: the past tense of brake.
Broke, brokenanything within reach when I hear racing gamers say 'broke' instead of 'braked'.

We do have all of those now. Just goes to show how you can't please everyone (especially the cry baby's).

Some of us here would be happy for the game to function properly

How many different racing lines will you take

Content & features add no value if games fail to reliably function properly.

'stating opinions as facts' or 'speaking for others.'
#NeverPreOrder. It's preposterous that consumers have to beg game companies to simply make games that reliably function properly. Consumers don't buy video games to waste their recreational time doing a tester's work. It's nonsense to imply game companies have no obligation to deliver games that reliably function properly at launch just because "it's not easy & nothing is perfect & you can't please everybody." A game's "success" is measured by how much it sells, not by how much it's played & enjoyed. They listen to money more than requests & complaints. They'll continue selling whatever we continue buying. What we put up with, we end up with. #VoteWithYourWallet

Yeah, but equally its too easy to please the hob-knobs.
You remember when you first came to my office? I asked you, "Do you want to be an eagle, or do you want to be a **** bird?" And you said "I want to be an eagle".
You got to be what you say you're going to be, which you aren't.
You got to do what you say you're going to do, which you haven't.
