Had my first rally of the year at Brands Hatch on Saturday! Very wet, and we didn’t have any wet tarmac tyres, so we ended up doing it on gravel tyres! Andrew Coley was commentating, he seemed to find it pretty funny, but it worked surprisingly well! We did crash into some tyres right in front of him though!
First time ive come across sos boards on a rally. A Focus spun on Graham Hill bend, and a MKII Escort couldn’t stop in hit them pretty hard. Poor escort was in a pretty bad way, luckily everyone was alright!
The rear wheel drive is the most disappointing thing in dirt 4. The rear wheel drive trucks feel ok, but the rally cars just don’t have that same feel Dirt Rally did. I loved the way you could really steer the cars using the throttle to kick the back end out through the corners
Oh my god I nearly forgot! I was playing Dirt 4 and it reminded me that I saw the Polish co driver from Dirt 4 on Rally GB the other week! I was just about to go up to him and say Hi Paul! When suddenly he turned to his friend and started speaking Polish. I had no idea he was real
I don’t really understand all this negativity, it’s pretty obvious that most people here are interested in sim rally games, so why is everyone angry that a completely different studio is making an arcade racer? You just simply don’t but the game and it’s not a problem for you.
