Hi all, DiRT Rally 2.0 v1.4 releases at 11am (BST) today, and with that, RaceNet will go down for maintenance, so please make sure you're not playing the game when 11am comes around, as it could compromise event times etc. being uploaded to the server. We're expecting RaceNet to be up and running by 12pm BST. Here is what the update will bring: - Online Custom events can now be set up as human only - Plain black and white liveries added for most vehicles - UI indication added for when ghost cars are stopped due to time penalty - Leaderboards will now support going to the top from all positions - AI will no longer select unreleased vehicles - Speedcar Xtrem wheels will not disappear - Improvement to Silverstone joker lap detection - Costa Rican added as a nationality - Tyre warnings are improved when in the service area - Reset line improvements on Mettet - Delta Daily will now award correct credits - Improvements to Opel Manta 400 engine audio - Turning off Personal Best ghosts will keep them off for the remainder of the session - Visual improvements to some vehicles - Proximity warnings will not be shown on retired vehicles - Resuming championships will not damage previously undamaged components - Stability improvements throughout title Please note that a further update will follow in the next week, which will focus solely upon FFB – so if you’re wondering where that is, it’s just around the next corner! As always, if you’re playing the game and notice something that might’ve slipped through the cracks, please post in this thread so we can take a look. Cheers, Christina 16/05 - update: Hello everyone! We come bearing exciting news for DiRT Rally 2.0 players - including the FFB update that everyone's been waiting for... Force Feedback changes The latest update to arrive to DiRT Rally 2.0 this morning - update 1.4.1 - is primarily focused upon updating the Force Feedback for steering wheels. After looking into comments about the feel from all parts of our community, we’ve changed the way the ‘Suspension’ setting works to try and exhibit the behaviours that you've been requesting. For this update the slider has been set at a default level of 100 for all devices, but this can be changed to suit your preferences. If you prefer the way things felt previously, then simply head to the Input section of the Options & Extras menu, select your device and then adjust the ‘Suspension’ slider in the Vibration & Feedback tab to 0. We want to give a huge thanks to the entire community for their feedback and patience while we've looked into implementing these changes - especially to those of you who've taken the time to come back to us with incredibly useful, nuanced feedback about your FFB experiences. It's worth mentioning that while this is the first big update to the FFB, it's definitely a work in progress and we plan to refine the feeling further. Please - let us know what you think. While we're on inputs, our Principal Game Designer Lee and Senior Programmer Adrian have put together a super handy Input Device Guide for DiRT Rally 2.0. You can take a look at it in all of its PDF glory here. Season Two content will also be announced tomorrow, so please stay tuned for what the next few months of DiRT will look like. Some of the speculation on the forums has been remarkably close, but we still have a surprise or two up our sleeves - and you won't have to wait much longer to find out what that is. See you back here tomorrow!

Come on codies...its 2019. Who in their right mind allowed the ridiculous rain graphic to pass development. Its bad enough the headlights dont illuminate far enough in front of the car to push in the dark...then you add a sheet of white lines that looks like they are straight out of a sega genesis game from 1997 makes it impossible. Please for the love of god fix this.

Hi all, We are still finalising the list. Thanks for your patience while we continue to sort through the applications!

We picked it for a multitude of reasons! It's a great car, works within our current car classes, our pal Petter drove it, and we think it's a beautiful and underrepresented vehicle. Plenty more cars to come which will introduce even more choice - there'll be something for everyone!

Hi all, just wanted to chip in here before the weekend arrives; we're working on bringing changes to the FFB - within the next week or two we'll be releasing a FFB specific update. More info soon, but it's coming. Thanks for your patience - we can't wait to have it out there and in your hands.

Fabia Rally and C4 Rally has got 1-1 "real" livery only. 😞 I could make 10 liveries for each, but i can't do that because they are already locked (crypted) So my question is: could you unlock all the DLC cars? 😄 Or at least could you share a .pssg files instead of locked .nefs for modders like Me? It would be a win-win connection! 😉

I'm checking in with the team now, as these weren't on the list (but have definitely appeared in game!) Also - FFB update is coming later today, around 11am UK time. A Road Book will arrive shortly!

So you won't play F1 2019 cos it recycles tracks that were on F1 2016? Or play Fifa 19 cos the Etihad stadium is always on it? Or Gt Sport cos Le Mans etc are on from GT5 Or Forza 7 cos of Forza 4? As long as they're improved, either graphically, or physics. Why not?

-- PATCH v1.4.1 Bug List -- FORCE FEEDBACK UPDATE IS RELEASED Based on v1.4's changelog and taking note of the fixes it brings, here's the updated bug list reported in the v1.3 thread, which represents all the bugs that still need fixing 1. The visibility during some stages in New Zealand and Australia is nearly null when played on Sunset or Dusk conditions and the headlights have no effect.(https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=411207 and https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/178-dirty-gossip-thread/?do=findComment&comment=409909 and https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=415484 ) NOTE: Still present in v1.4, this applies to any rally when run on Sunset/Dusk and sometimes cloudy weathers, headlights have no effect at all when turned on. Headlights don't seem to light far enough during night time as well, and rain during the night is unbearable. 2. Some cars' headlights lack proper glass texture opacity and some of them lack proper mirroring texture within the bulb case (Lancer VI for example) ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35466-whats-wrong-with-dr-20-cars/?do=findComment&comment=406760 ) 3. Tyre wear is too forgiving at the moment, making any choice besides Soft and Wet nonsense. Tyre wear, at least on softs, needs to be improved so that it wears way faster than it currently does, so that Medium and Hard compounds are a viable choice whenever there are bigger stages. And if possible, make it so that tyre wear rates also depend on how you drive (if you push harder, higher speed and higher sliding will cause the tyres to wear faster). ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35154-tyre-life-and-running-order/ ) 4. There are a few details missing from tail lights when the lights are on and brakes applied ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35466-whats-wrong-with-dr-20-cars/?do=findComment&comment=407285 ) 5. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI lacks halogen lights during night stages. The game only places the 2 in the front bumper, but it lacks the set on the bonnet. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=408600 ) 6. AI scoring irregular points in the My Team career ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=408152 ) NOTE: Needs confirmation in v1.4 7. After a stage when you're in the service then go to the main menu and back again in the service, the tyres you used lose their used condition and just display as "New". NOTE: Needs confirmation in v1.4 8. Some materials while in wet conditions seem to lack proper roughness, making them extra shiny and bland ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=407693 ) 9. Rain drops are white during night when lighted by the headlights. This affects all platforms, although some more than others. Overall the current rain makes the game unplayable during night with headlights turned on. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409302 ) NOTE: Fixed in v1.5 10. There are more reports of stuttering since v1.2, which didn't exist before, due to the wheels being connected. (https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34777-huge-rhythmic-stutter-on-high-end-pc/ & https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35684-stuttering-since-update-12/ ) NOTE: Confirmed in v1.4, some people with G29 wheels (and others) are still getting stutters, as well as some who get off-track see their FPS reduced to 20. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=408855 ) 11. Xbox One|Xbox One S - blurry graphics, unable to turn off TAA. Probably due to hardware limitations. 12. Rally events are appearing twice in the same career championship, omitting one rally ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=410026 ) NOTE: Seems to be fixed in v1.4 13. There's a set of graphic bugs on PC Steam version v1.2 (still to confirm in consoles) while in headcam, objects levitating, seeing through car panels, etc ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409819 and https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=415454 ) NOTE: Confirmed in v1.4, Lancia Stratos still has clipping panels on headcam while using the lowest FOV setting on PC. 14. Xbox One|Xbox One X - Screen tearing and black screens problems on Xbox One and Xbox One X ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409736 ) NOTE: Needs confirmation in v1.4 15. To get the trophy "Watch the delta" and "Living the dream" you have to buy the Group A and B cars that are already included in the Deluxe Edition. Sometimes the achievement won't be unlocked even after buying all the cars. 16. Despite the 7th rally being added to the game (Monte Carlo), championships only have 6 events. Should get adjusted as locations get added. 17. During replay, tyres are squeaking on snow/ice/gravel surfaces like if it was tarmac. This happens when track degradation is OFF. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/36042-next-patch/?do=findComment&comment=415800 ) 18. Wipers remain automatic even after being disabled in the settings. Wipers in auto-mode, sometimes (but rarely) will stop working during the stage even if it's raining. NOTE: Keep the wipers button pressed for a second to turn them off. 19. Invisible object collisions in Monte Carlo near the wall (trees) ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=411526 ) 20. We are unable to scroll up to the top or down to the bottom in the leaderboards right after finishing the stage ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=412353 ) NOTE: Fixed in v1.4. 21. There's reports that "Unexpected Moments" stop appearing after a certain time spent in career. 22. PS4 (and maybe Xbox) - There's reports of Modern Classics achievement not unlocking. 23. Argentinian flag flickers in one of the argentinian stages ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=412905 ) 24. If you don't take spare tyres and have a puncture in a stage, the tyre will still get repaired on the next one. Happening in Custom Multiplayer Events. This used to work before, at least in My Team, before v1.2. Should this be restricted to My Team mode only, it needs to be implement in Custom Events as well. 25. We can't change the Penalty Times parameter while setting up a Custom Event. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=414541 ) 26. On custom events stage results, the penalty time does not account for the service penalty time (when applied) and therefore will give misleading stage times. Example: Player 1 had a service penalty time, but his stage time shows as if he didn't get a penalty at all. Basically there's no track of this penalty and there's no certainty to the other players in the session wether this penalty has been applied or not. Bug confirmed yesterday while playing with some friends. 27. "Tune Vehicle" option in service area not appearing in My Team Online Events unless returning to service area from main menu. NOTE: Fixed in v1.5 28. Sound cutting bug is still present. 29. Spanish co-driver call is incorrect in Poland stage "Lejno" and "Zienki". Should say "izquierda uno" (left one) and not "derecha uno" (right one) ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/36317-dirt-rally-20-v13-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=415733 ) 30. The portuguese translation or "Clear" weather is wrong, it should say "Céu Limpo" or simply "Limpo" and not "Limpar". "Limpar" is used as "to clean", and "limpo" alone makes no sense because that's just not how we use the verbs, we say it's "clear" like "sky clear", which doesnt make sense in english but that's the way it is in PT-PT and PT-BR. Eitherway, rather have it shown as "Limpo" than "Limpar". ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/36317-dirt-rally-20-v13-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=415813 ) 31. When selecting recommended repairs in a service area, components out of view stay on 'no fix' unless you scroll down to view and reselect recommended repairs. 32. If you try to load a saved championship in Freeplay/Custom, it won't load. NOTE: This bug came on the Sweden 4.5GB pre-load patch on Thursday, April 18 (Steam) 33. Whenever you pause the game or start a new stage, if you're using dashcam (and maybe if you define different cockpit positions), the game will reset the camera to cockpit. Those who drive in the default cockpit already don't experience this issue, and this only happens with External Cameras setting turned off. NOTE: This bug came on the Sweden 4.5GB pre-load patch on Thursday, April 18 (Steam) 34. PS4 (and maybe Xbox) - Textures flicker black for fractions of seconds sometimes. 35. Fanatec CSL Elite is now showing the rev lights in reverse (right to left) since 1.4 update. Meaning from highest blue rev light at Low RPM to lowest red rev light at High RPM. Wheels confirmed so far (Porsche RSR, BMW GT2 Rim) 36. Some people are getting black snow for a few seconds in Sweden. It also happens on Australia's last sector of Mount Kaye Pass but it's not certain. There are some parts of some stages that flash either black or white like if lighting was adjusted. This bug has been here for a long time (at least for Australia) but hasn't been mentioned. 37. Shadows are giving a weird low resolution stripe effect when seen from interior cameras. This is probably also responsible for creating this shadow grid effect in the track surface. (Interior: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/547916290833252376/580061880727502848/20190427111535_1.jpg Exterior: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/547916290833252376/580061923027058700/20190427111548_1.jpg ) 38. Leaderboards seem to be bugged and displaying incorrect times ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/37295-dirt-rally-20-v14-found-a-bug-post-it-here-update-v141/?do=findComment&comment=427601 ) NOTE: Fixed in v1.5 39. RallyCross - AI cars seem to start the events full of mud while the player's car is clean. NOTE: Fixed in v1.5 40. Car bodywork parts are disappearing. Visual glitch. 41. Engine sound is cutting out on replays, apparently only in Time Trials. Reported in an Xbox One X but might be extended to other platforms. 42. A pacenote is missing one of the Germany stages ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/37295-dirt-rally-20-v14-found-a-bug-post-it-here-update-v141/?do=findComment&comment=427767 ) 43. Headlights are missing some glow+lens flare effect from DiRT4 at night when watching from outside. (DR2: | D4: ) 44. Some pacenotes seem to be in the wrong channel (there's reports of it happening in New England in the Left/right hairpins), and there's also reports of pacenotes being way too low on the volume in some Germany sections. 45. Dirt doesn't carry on to the next stage. Dirt should carry on to the next stages (cumulative dirt), up until there's a service where the car is automatically cleaned. 46. Phil Mills keeps repeating "over finish" when you get close to the finish of the german stages, and also on some swedish stages. He repeats it once more once you cross the finish line, on to the stop. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02WLcfRCDvs ) 47. For some reason, the new liveries do not stay in the cars once selected. When leaving and reentering, those cars (fulvia, kadett, rs200, polo gti, subaru wrx) return to have the livery "1" The list is getting smaller. Would love to see a comment on bug #1 after the FFB update is dealt with.

Hey! I've just replied to your post on reddit, but I wanted to put this on the forums too so my response was in more than one place. I've structured it loosely around condensed bulletpoints that others have shared, so hopefully it's in a clear enough format: "We're not fixing FFB as it's not broken for us" We're definitely making changes in this area - but OP is right that we had to do a lot of investigative work and talk to a lot of people to ascertain what was 'missing'. Also, as we've alluded to elsewhere - not everyone has been affected/been discontent with the FFB out of the box, so we've had to discuss about how to implement it as well (and that's still something we're trying to define). Please bear in mind that we also have a wealth of data here about people's wheels, settings, etc - so it's all a big balancing act to please as many people as possible. In terms of the process of how we refine and change FFB; it’s something that needed key individuals in the studio to be given the time to look at in detail, whilst also trying to balance this against giving them the time to fix other issues and work on upcoming features. There's also a lot less people available to take part in this process now the game's out, as the service team is smaller than the base game team. There are demands from all areas of the company, with numerous projects going on and F1 2019 launching two months earlier than ever before. In that respect, it's something that's ended up taking us a little longer to tackle, just by sheer number of people available - and that's something we're really sorry about. Throw into the mix that we want to get it validated by pro drivers, and you can see how the weeks have gotten away from us. And finally, just on the point of FFB: with DiRT Rally 2.0 we very much focused on simulating the effects that come through the front wheels as purely as possible, and we (and external validators) were pleased with how authentic the simulation felt in that regard. However on previous games, rather than just science, we used a little more art in some of the effects (especially with regards to the chassis effects, environmental effects, etc) - and that's the area where we've seen the most feedback. We didn't think we were launching it 'broken' and felt we had achieved and validated a realistic representation of steering feedback when driving a rally car. The sheer volume of [negative] feedback we've had definitely took us by surprise, and it's taken us a considerable amount of time to find something that a/ tackles the feedback we've had, and b/ is still an improvement on all previous iterations of DiRT games. We're getting there, and I look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks when these changes/options will arrive. Our car handling team have done an absolutely stellar job when it comes to DiRT, and they've been valiant in going through the more nuanced feedback we've received about how it feels. "We're not adding clubs because there aren't enough players in this game" Clubs is in for testing now. It's very likely Clubs will arrive in June - which we know is late, and it's disappointing because the same thing happened with DiRT 4's Clubs coming quite late post-launch - but it's a huge undertaking to get right. We have also needed to refactor the backend RaceNet system and make significant changes to the web interface as a result. However, we're seeing some brilliant retention numbers despite the lateness of this feature, and we're confident it'll be more than ready to provide infrastructure for our competitive plans later this year (as well as all your plans). Just while we're on competitive - the next update will include human-only MP rallycross. We've always been listening, and that comes later this month in Update 1.4. "We only push out the DLC we promised because that makes us money while fixes don't" The health, longevity and player sentiment is just as important to the commercial stuff as DLC is. There's no point releasing DLC if people aren't playing the game - if no-one's playing it, who's going to buy DLC? And conversely, who will let us make DLC if no-one's buying it? Plainly: everyone who's worked on DR2.0 loves it and wants to make more for it for as long as we're allowed! But back to the main issue raised: the new environments are made by our amazing Environment Artists and Level Design team, and the vehicles are made by our Vehicle Artists. It's a predominantly different set of skillsets that tackle the bugs. However, player satisfaction and happiness is just critical to our commercial goals as DLC. "We're working on VR instead" "We're not working on VR because of other fixes" We're working with an external development company to make this. There's a VR build in the studio right now - the lion's share of work is done, and we're onto looking at comfort features. More on that soon!

Hmmm, tricky! Let me see... 1. The problem with dark stages and no visibility has been poorly resolved and now the cockpit of the car is completely dark and some stages over-exposed. HDR needs to be fixed for good, no matter how much time it takes. Headlights also have nearly no effect in dark zones (such as New Zealand forests, Australia forests and Monte Carlo's tunnel) during day time. This is as prioritary as FFB, because it's a gamebreaker. (https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=411207 and https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/178-dirty-gossip-thread/?do=findComment&comment=409909 ) 2. There's no mention on these patch notes about the grip bug happening intermitently to some players. Some get no grip, some get partial grip and some don't have any problems. It's as if the car had no gravity and the wheels didnt touch the ground ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=408243 and https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409135 ) Being fixed in Patch v1.3 7. There's no mention on these patch notes about AI scoring irregular points in the My Team career. Not sure if this also happens on custom events. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=408152 ) 8. After a stage when you're in the service then go to the main menu and back again in the service, the tyres you used lose their used condition and just display as "New". 9. Some materials while in wet conditions seem to lack proper roughness, making them extra shiny and bland ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=407693 ) 10. Running order seems to be class dependent. Example: Group A will never start 1st on the running order regardless if they lead the entire rally, and not just the class, making the running order and track degradation a bit shady. There's also the issue where the championship leader will start cleaning the first stage of the event (correct), except if you are on another class other than R5, but then if you lead the rally once again you don't get the best order position for the best grip. Not sure how you're gonna do it, but something needs to be done about this, as older classes get 90% of the time rutted stages. 11. Splash VFX and SFX are missing when passing through a splash (New England stages). 12. Splash VFX and SFX are missing on wet stages on little puddles of mud and water (all gravel stages that have wet condition). Not sure if this is a bug or an intented design decision. If it implies a significant performance drawback, discard. 13. PS4|PS4 Pro - Rain drops are pitch white during night when lighted by the headlights. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409302 ) 15. There are more reports of stuttering since v1.2, which didn't exist before. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35684-stuttering-since-update-12/ ) 16. Audio is still cutting out in the stages. Being fixed in Patch v1.3 17. Some co-pilot pacenotes are not given in custom multiplayer races. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409334 ) 18. Headlights still need to light the road farther in dark/rain conditions (Poland specially). 19. PS4|PS4 Pro|Xbox One S - blurry graphics, unable to turn off TAA, low resolution textures overall, faulty HDR and unable to adjust FOV. Being fixed in Patch v1.3 20. Probably related to bug #6, the rear end of the cars is levitating in some rare cases. There's definitely something there with the gravity. ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/34816-dirt-rally-20-v11-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409901 ) 21. Some of the R5s have their wheels wrongly placed ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35466-whats-wrong-with-dr-20-cars/ ) 22. Rally events are appearing twice in the same career championship, omitting one rally ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=410026 ) 23. There's a set of graphic bugs on PC Steam version v1.2 (still to confirm in consoles) while in headcam, such as water splashes not rendering properly, objects levitating, etc ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409819 ) 24. Screen tearing and black screens problems on Xbox One ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409736 ) 25. Some buggy UI graphics overlaying during Car Setup (can't confirm platform) ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409572 ) 26. Buggy dialog box showing code instead of text concerning insufficient funds to repair car damage in the main menu ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=409684 ) 27. Stability issues on PC, causing crashes d3d11.dll and stack related, game freezing mid-stage and consequently PC freezing ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=410083 ) Being fixed in Patch v1.3 28. There's reports of the co-driver pacenotes notebook 3d object not appearing in head cam. 29. To get the trophy "watch the delta" and "living the dream" you have to buy the Group A and B cars that are already included in the Deluxe Edition. 30. Despite the 7th rally being added to the game (Monte Carlo), championships only have 6 events. Should get adjusted as locations get added. 31. In the Rallycross Daily events, people get forced back out of the event, rather than back to the pits after a practice run. 32. During replay, tyres are squealing on snow/ice/gravel surfaces like if it was tarmac. Being fixed in Patch v1.3 33. Xbox One X - There's a report of the big black graphics bug still happening as of v1.2.1 ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=410821 ) 34. In Monte Carlo rally, the italian co-pilot's first words at the start are not in italian. 35. Wipers remain automatic even after being disabled in the settings. 36. In Monte Carlo rally, headlights are ineffective in the tunnel during day time. This is the same problem as with the dark forest areas in New Zealand and Australia. 37. Invisible object collisions in Monte Carlo near the wall (trees) ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=411526 ) 38. In Monte Carlo rally, when you go to the service area after you finish a stage, the ground floor is black like if it was missing a texture (i'll make sure to get a screenshot on this one soon, it happened to me on a GTX 770 with the latest nvidia driver) 39. The french translation of "clear weather" should be "dégagé" and not "vider". 40. When overwriting a setup it resets its name instead of keeping the old name. 41. Rev counter analog display is upside down in the Mk1 Golf ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=412114 ) 42. We are unable to scroll up to the top or down to the bottom in the leaderboards right after finishing the stage ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=412353 ) 43. Sometimes windscreen wipers are duplicated. Being fixed in Patch v1.3 44. On the R2 Ford Fiesta most of the liveries have too wide (or actually too high) black bar on top of windshield, which make the car almost impossible to drive. The liveries 1 and 2 are ok, rest are not. Being fixed in Patch v1.3 45. PS4 - There's reports that "Unexpected Moments" stop appearing after a certain time spent in career. 46. PS4 (and maybe Xbox) - Modern Classics achievement is not unlocking. 47. Argentinian flag flickers in one of the argentinian stages ( https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/35657-dirt-rally-20-v12-found-a-bug-post-it-here/?do=findComment&comment=412905 ) Nope, I think everything has been covered! Edit: forgot to credit @Riggs for the above list

Don't often post to developers websites to complain but DR2 is such a headache inducing affair. Having started out with Dirt Rally since the original went online on Steam as early acces, it's like for everything this game does right, there's 2 design decisions to niggle at you that make me want to just load up Dirt Rally 1 instead. Now with over 80hrs played I'm kind of not bothered to touch the game because those niggles are just accumulating to the point I don't even want to turn the game on. - Steam Workshop Where is it? Seriously? Why would you not use Steam Workshop for tuning setups. It's not like you don't know how to implement it, it was in DR1. Most peeps like to just grab a working setup and be done with it. Worked for DR1, completely absent in DR2; why? - Always online Unless you're running an MMO, there's no reason for this. There isn't. Don't tell me it's because of 'piracy' because I'll straight up tell you punishing me as a paying customer for the game aren't interested in hearing it. To authenticate times to make sure no one is using mods or alterations to the game? Don't care, use an Online Only leaderboard then but don't force everyone to have to be online. Server maintenance and you can't play the career mode...but the most annoying is the constant 'Connecting to Racenet.' Enter a menu....connecting to racenet, leave a menu, connecting to racenet….everything you do, connecting to racenet. JFC!! It's like death by a thousand cuts, it's infuriating. Just drop it. - Recycled content I'd say I don't understand why companies do this, but I do, $$$. Make new content for a game, release title, then sell back content that was already in the first game with slight alterations as DLC. Requires minimal effort but good for nickle and diming the customers...…. - Rubbish AI Plenty of topics on this. Once hitting a point in career it's basically not worth coming back unless you like punishing yourself. There just becomes a point where you no longer feel like there is any progression or reward for doing so. It's like hitting a dead end. Like, I absolutely love the way the game plays, but everything around that is just horrible; and it's not like there is any reason for it when most of the issues didn't even exist in the first game! They were actually added to the game......you expect the first one to have those sort of little issues but become more streamlined with the sequel, but it's like you guys took a working game that really only needed tweaking and a few updates and more content and just went out of your way to make it as frustrating as possible

i found it a shame to blame for the remastered stages, as they are: 1 like new, with improved hanndling and physics 2 3,50euro for each locations................... common stop complaining 😂 3 the more loctions in game, the more i'm happy i also disagree with the online compliant, i see no problem there, it's a MUST, as now all times are registered to the leaderboards, and it's right that piracy users don't have any right to play the entire game. i agree with the other 2 points

i don't know if this is going to work, but here's a little silliness for your friday

That is a fair point. However, is it not appropriate that they go first? Back when DR 1 was in EA and the devs were making video dev diaries, livestreams and generally getting involved you wouldn't have caught me whispering a single bad word about them - despite the jankyness in DR1 at EA launch. What I can't stand is this retreat to corporate animosity, with extremely selective community engagement - as and when it suits them. That is only made worse when those small pieces of engagement seems forced, trite or condescending.
