  1. It's massive. It's impossible. I had to abandon completely career mode because of that. Now I will play online events and custom events (witch doesn't make money, another problem). I hope this stuff will be fixed soon because the game is really good, but AI is wrong.

  2. From -5 to 0 it's 5, from 0 to +5 it's 3. -5 = 30 vFoV 0 = 55 vFoV +5 = 70 vFoV

  3. Is this going to be patched, DR1 did this with a wheel plugged in an it was eventually fixed. Not on DR 2.0 every couple seconds I stutter and drop about 10 FPS, unplug my wheel and everything is good. I am not going start disabling USB inputs, that seems ridiculous.

  4. No - The calculator is totally right. You are using a double FOV from what it should be with the other calculators. If you can't play, raise it knowing it's not realistic, or upgrade your setup.

  7. I know this has been discussed before but yesterday I played more Career mode and I found something completely off. I hope you can see the attached photo. It is the end result of the New Zealand rally in "Clubman" tier. Yes, I'm the Hungarian dude in second place. But there is something absolutely incredible going on there if you look at the final times. How come there is one AI that completes the rally (6 stages) 1 minute 20 seconds faster than any other AI cars? How can it be so much faster when it's only "Clubman" difficulty? I would agree I must be a noob if every AI was faster than m

  10. I decided to take on a historic rally with the Aton Martin GT4. I set the AI to the easiest on very easy, that is 1 of 100. 3 of the 4 rallies, Spain, Australia and New Zealand I won easily, but in Poland all the 5 stages was wet, and as a result I lost by several minutes (!) and got 27th. Clearly something is very very wrong! I really hope CM spell some news on this problem soon... 😞

The information on the project immersion website is accurate, but you must note that it is giving instructions on editing the configuration files (not the in-game slider) AND, the information on that page only relates to Dirt Rally 1. So none of the information on that page relates to 2.0. A developer in this thread has already told us the correct values in 2.0, and the Andyf calculator has matched it.

  12. Yup the Andyf calculator is totally accurate. The reason it feels like slow motion is because you have been used to using an artificial fov. The doubled numbers you see on some calculators only applies when editing the configuration files in the original dirt rally.

  13. More diff lock gives you greater traction when accelerating or braking straight as sides of the vehicles wheels will work to pull / push the car forward consistently between them. If you decrease the wheel lock the wheel speed difference allows the car to turn more easily, but on power pulling / pushing the car forward in a straight line will essentially bleed power to the wheel with the least traction, resulting in wheel spin.

  15. I still visit in fact jus tbought a couple of games myself a Forza bundle on the Microsoft Store as I got Forza Motorsport 7 and Horizon 3 for about £40 and I treated myself to a new Snooker game Snooker 19 on Steam which looks quiet good fun.

  20. Don´t know anything about coding games but tweaking AI times should not be so hard. This is asked since day 1 and nothing happened, at most words "they are looking for it". Maby they are not interested to fix that. There is not lack of data doing that, world records for Master level and so on... Same case seems to be at DiRT twitter, there is much complains (99% about FFB) but not any answers from devs. Game is (still) great, sad that communicating isn´t.

  25. @cmMikeRobson Many thanks for clearing that up, I must say you are doing a very good job here. If you do end up exposing the values to players, please also let them know what the numbers mean i.e. DEGREES VERTICALLY, to avoid even more confusion from the players! One more thing Mike. In OSD Settings there is an option to turn ON and OFF the Instrument Cluster. This options work in all views APART from cockpit view, where it is never visible even when ON is selected. This is a big problem because in some cars and/or depending on your FOV you will not be able to see what gear you are

  26. A developer also told, that Project immersion calculator is showing correct values - and it shows 57 for me, not 29 or -5, like Andyf calculator.

  28. Yes. I personally do not like how the road surface sounds have been made. Before the first patch, the sounds were better. It would be good if the player could adjust more sound effects.

  32. I think you're confusing Dirt 2 with Dirt, they didn't remove those cars from Dirt 1, they're still there. I think you probably wanted to ask why they're not in Dirt 2 - to answer that i would say it's because there are a bunch of new cars in there, but i'll bet money on the still available previously licensed cars to be added to Dirt 2 at some point as DLC.
