I don't understand people's disappointment with lack of rally stuff. We knew before the game was even released that S2 would focus on rallycross so it's hardly surprising. Until codemasters said there would be some rally content in the season I was expecting only rallycross anyway so 2 rally cars and arguably the best location from the first game is a great bonus.

Won't play RX content at all - but still stoked to be getting Wales the 037 and the 911. Can't wait!

Ok, so there has been a lot chatting around this subject for a long time, and it's time to make statistics work so everyone can know what we're dealing with here. Season 3 is almost guaranteed, provided there's enough content hinted to fill that season. However, there's absolutely nothing about an hipothetical Season 4, and that's where we come in. Would you buy a Season 4+ and what content would you like see from that season on? Post your suggestions and ideas, as there is A LOT left to add in this game. Here are a few ideas: - Super Special Stages for each rally, like in DiRT3 and previous titles. These are similar to RX circuits and provide a Head 2 Head experience (see here: https://youtu.be/ufNz_YQJ9fg ) - Two more long stages for each rally, to improve variety. That would make a total of 4 long stages per rally. - New rallies, besides the missing DR1 ones. E.g: Portugal, Corsica, San Remo, Kenya, etc - Early 2000s 2000cc car class fulfilled (Peugeot 206 WRC 2001, Citroen Xsara T4 WRC 2001, Ford Focus WRC 2001, Subaru Impreza WRC 2001, Subaru Impreza WRC 1997-2000, etc) - Tarmac physics 2.0. - Tyre features expanded, tweaked wear rates to make Medium and Hard compounds relevant. - Better weather system, with the ability of providing different conditions during a stage like sometimes it happened in D4 (has to be the synced for everyone in multiplayer). - Improved spectator mode / photo mode. - eSports every year, throughout an entire season like in real life. Can't think of anything else right now, so fill this topic with your suggestions. Number 1, 2 and 3 is already a lot of work 😉

Totally realistic list, but I don't understand, why nobody wants the VW Polo R WRC & Fiesta RS WRC for a 2010s class!? I mean, the cars are pretty old right now, were in the first game...licensing can't be much harder since the first DR. Yes, BigBen has the license for WRC, but we have the C4, wich is just 3 years older than the Polo R!?

I expect something extra with the introduction of VR...

I was using it on Australia, but there's no way I could have pulled off those slides. It just doesn't react to countersteer well for me. I don't think I've tried it on Poland though. But that bizarre sudden snap sideways is what I'm talking about, but it does it nearly every corner. If it behaved like it does in your vid I'd be happy with it. *cough cough*

Now the New Info is out. Very surprising, location number 3 is no double Release as the Version structure had suggested. Well I got all the Cars correct (and almost the Order) Well with two of the old locations missing, they could actually fill up a season 3 without mexico... If they even continue the season approach, maybe itll be Single dlcs afterwards... Hmm. Surprised but very satisfyed to See Wales in S2. Don't really care about Finland and Greece, but I would about a new Mexico if it is really in the works

Season 3 would be enough imo then to start work on a nxt-gen DR for PS5 n X2

I'm not talking about just the forum but some of the comments on Facebook are more than just disappointment. Some even said something along the lines of: "I didn't pay for RX! I/We want rally!" I mean, how small must their brain be? 😛

I find it strange as well that so many are angry, furious even, that there's more RX content than rally content in season two. They should either buy a pair of glasses so they can read properly or activate the part in their brain that makes it possible to do research before buying something like the deluxe version for example. It was advertised that season two would focus on RX content and if you didn't read it or didn't use your brain before buying it, it's your own bloody fault. You can't blame the team for your own stupidity. And if you do blame them and call them out, you're even worse than stupid and frankly shouldn't be allowed to play the game because of it. There has to be a season where all the hinted 2000cc cars take place. So if that's not present in S2, it can only mean S3.

It's no surprise we get more RX content next season, is it? Season 1 was dominated by rally content, so it's fine. Lancia 037 and 911 SC RS, baby! 😍 Can't. Wait. Edit: Oh and Wales ofc!

Shame we have to wait until the end of the season before we can attempt some big slides into turn one at the Estering! I wonder if the new RX circuits will become part of the World Championship in freeplay?

I really dont get this... how can u not like RX if you havent ever played it? For me (and many others) its really a blast! not comparable to stages but a lot of action guaranteed and definitely not easy.. And its a blast for real rally drivers too i guess, cause why would they participate in it otherwise?

And I only care for the Group B RX and RX tracks Different strokes for different folks I guess 😛

No Impreza 2001, Focus 2001.. Meh, waiting for Season 3

Believe it or not, most of the forum regulars don't have any ill feelings towards the WRC team. There is no reason for wanting either game to fail, both teams have different qualities to offer. Any good choices they implement will have knock on effects here and you only have to watch the WRC videos to see who their biggest influence has been during their development time.

I'm sure it's broken, I haven't seen any unexpected moments for months and I play on a daily basis, both in career and freeplay, so it's just not possible.

Hi guys, back after seeing the season 2 DLC. To people who are dissapointed: - You only need to buy the rally stuff, not need to bvuy RX stuff as well. (though maybe unlucky a bit for the deluxe players, but it was mentioned before that season 2 would be RX or more RX focused DLC) - There are people who like rally, or rallycross or both. Still don't get the whining everytime. Even if everything is rally content you guys are still whining. Never anything good for some of you guys. Overall I am good with the DLC so far. Season 2 seems interesting, but i am also a bit suprised. All cars are Group B focused, let's say historic. But the combination with a modern and a classic RX locations makes it wonder where is the release of a modern RX car. I am looking forward to the Estering. Last year with World RX is was there visiting my first ever RX event, so I would love to give it a try. It will be a challenge. About the 'special' liveries (which actually are fake and loosely based on iconic colors), I hope now some real World RX liveries will be added. At least more seasons will be coming as it is known that the MINI RX, 2001 Impreza and 2001 Focus will be coming and there is rumours about the 206 Rally and i20 Rx. With 6 more locations expected, this probably will be season 3 and 4. My expectations are as following: - Seasons 3 and 4 will be mixed with rally and rx content Tracks - Seasons 3 will have 2 rx locations and 1 rally location: 2 remaining 2018 World RX tracks (South Africa and CotA) and Greece or Finland as the rally location - Seasons 4 will have 2 rx locations and 1 rally location: 2 2019 world RX tracks (Spa and Abu Dhabi) and Greece or Finaland as the rally locations. Cars - 10 - 12 more cars --- RX: MINI Supercar / Hyundai i20 Supercar / VW Beetle / Ford Focus / SEAT Ibiza / Renault Clio --- Rally: Peugeot 206 2001 / Ford Focus 2001 / Subaru Impreza 2001 / Seat kitcar / Nissan kitcar / Peugeot kitcar
