    Finally got to try Germany the past couple of days. Absolutely great fun in the M1 and the RGT cars! So much better than Spain. I love drifting through those junctions and hairpins!

    I dont think they had simulated that far, but in reality a Car is almost allways faster nights, temperature are colder, colder temerature of Air intake = more power from engine

    So last weekend I was in at the Southern Ohio Forest Rally, took some pix, thought I would share. Not as good as @ttbst 's photos, but I like what I got. There where 4 plus a hybrid shell with Mitsubishi engine (cheaper) - and this was a super regional, not a national event.

    Going to keep this short and simple... If ANY and I literally mean ANY content in the game (And I mean cosmetics and cosmetics ONLY (Anything else is by far worse... not better)) is not earnable (Or reasonably earnable), but is able to be bought... I will whole heartedly scrap this game from my list of ONLY this game! I have quit playing all other games due to this exact issue, this is the only game that has never had it (Besides F1 2016 with their R&D cr@p)... I am more than willing to quit on this game to if this affects ANYTHING about the game! I may sound like I am overreacting, but cosmetics coming into games has only ever become a serious issue... even if it started off fine.

What is RDA? RDA is an application that can log telemetry from DiRT Rally (all stages/courses/vehicles) and DiRT Rally 2.0 (base release Cars/Stages and may work for DLC stages) to CSV, BIN, or MoTeC LD files. RDA also allows you to compare instantaneous and live Delta T and Delta V if you have already completed a stage/lap in the same vehicle. Your best stage/lap is saved on completion. Currently the live deltas are rendered only on a secondary monitor or beside the game windowed. Sample Videos ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW AND MORE IS AVAILABLE INSIDE THE PACKAGED PDF WHICH INCLUDES AN EULA Key Performance and Features RDA is very light weight; written in C++17 (importantly not Java or scripts) and does not utilize any extensive libraries such as boost, .NET, QT/wx and other UI libs to keep the data logging and loading performance impact completely negligible. You should not notice even a 0.1FPS drop when logging. In addition to using minimalist C++17, the application logs LD data to a temporary BIN file format instead of text/XML for ultimate performance and data safety in case of a system crash. (Recovering such data from BIN to LD currently can only be performed by the author “bn880” due to possible licensing issues.) Data and Frequency Precision RDA uses a comprehensive algorithm to save LD logs in maximum precision for all data channels without significant processing overhead. This is unlike any previous LD file data logger for other simulations. The frequency of the channels is also precisely calculated and saved based on an extrapolation algorithm and full passes of the collected data points. It is however crucial that you log at less than the full sim render FPS (about 80% or less of the FPS) or that your render FPS remains constant with Vsync if you want to have precise timing in logs. Quick Start / Installation Extract zip Extract the ZIP package into a folder where you have full privileges (read/write/full control), usually this simply means NOT in ProgramFiles (x86). Setup DiRT Rally UDP Set up DiRT Rally UDP output to your desired unique RDA port as per the How to set up DiRT Rally and DiRT Rally 2.0 UDP ports section. (inside PDF in package) Run RDA Run ./RDA/RaceTrack Data Acquisition.exe alongside your game to capture data logs and to view live Deltas once you complete a lap/stage once. See Delta T and Delta V display. *** NOTE *** If you try to use RDA to log cars OR stages/tracks that are not supported no files will be generated, there will be no deltas shown, and you will need to restart RDA to resume logging. When data logging is working and live recording a stage/lap the Record button turns red. See Figure 6 RECORD and STOP (+SAVE) Button states. Install MoTeC i2 Pro v1.0.21.30 (not included in this package, you need to get it yourself) In MoTeC i2 Pro go to "File">"Project">"Open Project..." and open the supplied project: <RDA Install dir>\MoTeC Projects\DiRT Rally\Project.mtcprj Open Log File in MoTeC Pro You can now open your recorded LD log file in MoTeC. As of version 1.0 detailed GPS track maps (inner/drive/outer lines) are provided for Fourketa Kourva and Waldabstieg from DR. However you can generate these GPS maps in about 15-30 minutes with the correct procedure, and any stage you have driven will always be visible as a drive line with heading anyway.     Sorry, but what is it with people wanting EA to do an F1 game? The developer of those games was ISI who went and developed the rFactor series of games.

    He means that the engine develops more power during nights which are cooler. Which is true for turbocharged engines. Though this is definitely not going to be part of the game simulation (as he also suspects).

    Nice! What engines they use on those Bimmers over there? Here M3 or a regular e36 with a engine from M3 is quite common car. I think there was already some sort of record this year at one rally, as there was 71 entrants with BMW's. Drivers with Escorts and Starlets needs to really drive on the limit all the time to compete against those 300-400hp M3's here.

    @cmMikeRobson @CMMcBabe @CM Adrian Paul Smith how it is possible that on some stages in argentina i set better times in night/dry conditions then in day/dry conditions???? i explain you why: the camera shaking is so strong that i can focus my eyes on the road, i've made a poll about that, with 90% of people giving me right that shaking is too ecxessive. never heard anything more about that question from you........

    If 8 locations and 12 circuits is the confirmed base content (with the rest of the game once again locked in DLC seasons) that's a really poor incentive to go out and buy this game soI I'll vote with my wallet and sit on this one until it goes ultra cheap or it ends up on gamepass. With no major racing games planned on XBox this year you'd have thought that Codemasters would have gone all out to make Grid a truly spectacular game instead of ripping people off with this tacky DLC nonsense. What gives? Do you not want our money?

    Nice watch. Isn't that a Seiko? Otherwise seems like you could've shortened the shutter speed a bit and played with burst mode. Would've helped a bit with the blur on the fast movers. But I'm no Steve either. Also, a polarized filter will help cut glare.

    It's not "only stage results data", the other cars are running it. There is a lot of changes that would have to be made to make it work, it would be rewriting the multiplayer system.

    will be starting the H3 cars in a couple of weeks. I've also had a bash with the escort, was great on asphalt. Then I took it off road and the thing became an absolute animal. So I've got to spend some time understanding what effect what with the RWD cars as I very rarely use them.

    Hi all, so, some sad news for you - today is my last day at Codemasters. I just wanted to say thanks for all the gossip, speculation, support, and everything in between; it's been an absolute pleasure serving you as your Community Manager for the last 3.5 years, and our DiRT games are all the better for having you all involved. It's incredibly bittersweet leaving, but I just wanted to come here and say, very sincerely: thanks for everything. No other words cover it, except thank you. I hope you guys have enjoyed the latest announcement for GRID, and while I'm super chuffed that it was one of the last things I got to work on, my heart will always belong to DiRT. Just know there are so many cool things in store for DiRT Rally 2.0... I'm really looking forward to being on the other side of all the cool announcements and content drops.     They have a good motive for broken trophies... People are holding the game waiting for a patch and the platinum. I know this because that's the only reason I still own this PoS! There's like 100 listings on eBay right now, watch that number jump massively as soon as people pop the platinum. Scumbag company for sure. Already discounted heavily after just one month LOL RIP codefailures
