I must say i am really impressed with Your Job ! it remind me of old good times, when BigLee and Paul Coleman were so active with community. Hats Off

Things are a bit hectic right now with me starting new and 1.5 coming (and preparations for Latvia RX too) so I'm not fully caught-up on the status of various things that happened before I joined. I'll see where we're at on that once I compile community feedback 🙂 My plan once 1.5 goes live is to create an FAQ and a pinned thread specifically for club feedback (in addition to a 1.5 bug thread). I have some documentation already but it would be good for me to test the creation process in a live environment so that I'm getting the same experience as you guys. As a quick tease, we're planning to create an official DiRT/Codemasters club so that everybody has at least one place to go compete in. 🙂

Go for it. Might be better off making a forum thread in the Clubs/Leagues section and then linking that thread here though.

Oh neat, a games thread 🙂 Obligatory "you all need to play Nier: Automata" comment.* *No seriously, it's brilliant on so many levels.

Good to see clubs is finally coming! Can’t wait to see how terrible I am. Spotted some rallying royalty today at a rally in Abingdon

I’m completely the opposite of this - I’m after as many unique kilometres of stage we can get - would mean it would be possible to do a longer rally without as much repetition. As long as it’s quicker to create a new stage in an existing location as it is to create an entire new one, I’d much rather have the former. I understand here that’s not the case, it’s probab easier to upgrade Finland than to make another New Zealand stage, but once we’ve got the 12 locations, that would be plenty for me - if they started DR3 with 8 DR2 locations and double the stages for each that would be a dream... But that’s a long way off - for now, I’m just hoping for an updated Finland, because the stage model was superb in DR1 but the physics rendered it in enjoyable there for me - fingers crossed I get to use it with DR2’s one day.

Have to post again. I just raced the real Ricky Collard in iracing. He was miles faster but it was cool to be in a race with a real racer

I think one more long stage per location would be enough. 2 more would be absolutely awesome, but the returns diminish a little imo. I also agree with Riggs in that I wouldn't expect the same level of fidelity with any new ones. I just want more stuff to drive on, not for every tree to be in the exact right position more locations would be nice too (after Finland and Greece of course). I don't think either are happening, however. they've had a clear plan for the game since well before release, and I'm fairly certain neither of those things are in it. {if I were to pick the most likely, I'd go with a brand-new rally location or two to get more people to buy Season 3 or 4, as well as bring new players to the game)

You can manage your own team, as you can choose your teammate. As for buying cars, we don't know but if you have your own team, that would make sense. And no, there's no drifting at launch, the fact sheet is a fact sheet, it's not going to change.

Is the insight to sell a part game with minimal content then try and sell the rest as dlc? If so good job

Hi all, so, some sad news for you - today is my last day at Codemasters. I just wanted to say thanks for all the gossip, speculation, support, and everything in between; it's been an absolute pleasure serving you as your Community Manager for the last 3.5 years, and our DiRT games are all the better for having you all involved. It's incredibly bittersweet leaving, but I just wanted to come here and say, very sincerely: thanks for everything. No other words cover it, except thank you. I hope you guys have enjoyed the latest announcement for GRID, and while I'm super chuffed that it was one of the last things I got to work on, my heart will always belong to DiRT. Just know there are so many cool things in store for DiRT Rally 2.0... I'm really looking forward to being on the other side of all the cool announcements and content drops. I'll see you all on the leader boards (albeit quite low down!) All the best, Christina
