Quick market test: Thumbs up if you'd purchase this season pack.

Off topic : I would like to thank @PJTierney for his work. I actually enjoyed Cristina’s work, but now we have much more publications or news and it’s nicely enjoyable! On topic : maybe a 206 or a Xsara ! 😁

I've seen some preview footage of a Mclaren MP4-25 (2010) racing in Monza and i can't help but think why it hits a top speed of 320 kph!!!!!!! You can clearly see that the car has so much more to give on the straights. It was the same case with F1 2018 some cars had very short gear ratios for certain tracks. I personally think Codemasters should implement a gear ratio configurator for CLASSIC CARS just like in F1 2010-2013 were you could play around with the gearing as it was allowed to do so before the new hybrid powertrains.

It was thickness of material, rather than mounting. The regulations say that the maximum material thickness is 1.5mm, the GCK bumper was made from material that was 1.96mm.

I'm honestly MORE surprised as to why they don't give you an option to modify gears for classic cars. They're not the "Current" cars, only current cars have one set Gear Ratio and that's it, older cars could choose from at least a few...

Depression and stress go hand in hand. I've never talked about it publically before but I went through a low period recently and came close to starting to self-harm on a few occasions. It's weird the way the mind changes when something isn't right. Fortunately, I'm over that now but I know how much of a different person it made me. Stick with your brother; I don't have any blood siblings but confided in someone who is as close to me as one. He sorted me out and made me realise who I really am and it was exactly what I needed.

Xbox One X. HDR switched off. Below are direct screen captures, straight to disk. This is Poland at 2pm in the afternoon, on an overcast day. Away from the clumps of trees, there is light. Get into the tree clumps, and you see this. This is absurd, and no fun for anybody. In-game brightness is at normal. Increasing it does not help the problem. @PJTierney@urgaffel Please, the lack of ambient lighting in this game needs some love. Thanks.

So you did all this trial without playing the game? Because in the end you say that you will only buy when it is for 5 dollars, so I can conclude that you did not buy and also did not play? Learn that this is a game, impossible to portray 100% reality, I agree that many things can improve, but to say that the game is worse without even having played is at least a great mimimi.

Yeah, i'm poking @PJTierney to try and work on the patch notes to be at least somewhat complete. It looks good for CM as well as let's us see plenty of stuff getting fixed/changed.

I suspect GRiDy Gossip rather than DiRTy Gossip, but Codemasters recording another car:

Here some more screenshots (PS4 Pro) What a sound this BMW M1 procar has. Screenshot from the new Latvia RX track in the semi-final. I have no idea what Solberg and Ekstrom did in the qualifying heats, as it seems they rolled their car or something. I love this Nitiss livery, although it is even not on the correct Fiesta spec model. Can we please get more RX liveries?

The audio was recorded from a real S14 @F2CMaDMaXX, but the turbo noise currently occurs at the wrong time in DR2.0. At the moment you get compressor stall ("chatter") from the turbo far too frequently. The real S14 doesn't do that. Pretty sure that the CM audio gurus are aware of the error though and are going to address it.

I'm not sure if it was Codemasters or DiRT. I recall people going back to CMR series so probably Codemasters rally game, as we even brought back the gossip of the 206 back from the dust. @Evo6 sound:

She as pretty as the Hulk... The worst thing is he's still with her after that. Depression has really changed my bro, he has 0 self worth and it's painful to see, because in the past he wouldn't have taken this ****. The amount of times I've pleaded with him to move on with her, but he doesn't, yet if the marriage happens I'll have to sit there and support him as he's my bro, knowing that it'll end in a divorce. Like I don't have a lot of self worth due to my condition, but I'd never let someone treat me like that.

Steady on with the hyperbole man. There are a few calls that are too late, or have incorrect severity, but the vast majority of them are perfectly fine.

Hi team, I have some feedback on the decision to leave DLC nefs encrypted. I’ve tried (somewhat unsuccessfully) to keep this to the point. I've made the key points bold to aid in sending feedback upwards. Firstly, I appreciate the open communication from @PJTierney on this. This is much, much better than keeping us in the dark. Thank you team. The main reason you’ve encrypted these files is based on the concern that if left unencrypted, players won’t purchase the DLC but will export the DLC models and replace the model of an available car. Some perspective: The .nefs validation system you’ve built is already checking for .nefs file modification. The impact is, if people were to replace models in an available car, their career saves will be disabled and times will not be submitted online. The community has already shown from the launches of DiRT 4 and DR2.0 that with this degradation in experience, very few people will risk or bother going through the effort of installing custom liveries and models. People would need to go through the effort of installing custom software, extracting the appropriate model files, and replacing these within the nefs of an available car. This process is not trivial. They would then get the visual benefit - but that’s it - and the replaced car model is cannibalised. My strong suggestion is that for the amount of effort involved in the modding process, and for the quality of in-game experience gained - people won’t bother. The few that do are probably going to pirate or never pay for DLC in the first place. And in the meantime your paying, dedicated and engaged community get frustrated and disappointed. What continuing to encrypt DLC cars means for us: Frustration and disappointment. Less engagement with the game. Less motivation to purchase future DLC. Allowing the community to create liveries may seem trivial - but it is a crucial part of helping create an engaged community that will continue to invest time in the game. Will I use the Porsche 911 SC RS? I’ll try it out and move on. But if I could create a livery for it, I would without a doubt spend around 24 hours of my own time creating a custom livery - then be motivated to spend about as much time in game driving it. In DR1 my favourite car was the 2007 Focus in the 2000cc class. I haven’t touched it in DR2 because the liveries are rubbish. I won’t use the 2000cc class at all as part of Clubs because I can't use a livery which immerses me in the experience. It’s a massive missed opportunity. The only thing that is making me try the other available R2 cars at the moment is the fact I can create a livery that helps engage me and my team in the experience of competing with others as part of a community organised championship. Without both of these things I would be sticking to my Fiesta and running daily events until I get bored. Custom liveries keep things fresh and engaging - keeping me in the game longer. I’m much less likely to purchase additional DLC cars with this encryption in place. I’m talking even if the 206 drops - the livery will need to be hella good to make me consider purchasing - cause otherwise I simply won't use it. Without this nefs encryption imma throw you money. If you’re not going to unlock DLC nefs: At the very least please consider enabling the folder method for DLC cars so we can use liveries for models that existed in previous DiRT titles. Better, please consider also making DLC car textures available to the community somehow. This way the few people you're concerned about still can't rip you off, and there’s even more incentive to purchase your DLC because we’ll be creating a wealth of amazing livery content. If you won’t do either of these… You need to invest in better liveries for DLC cars, or in comprehensive livery editing tools. With love and respect, the livery options we have in DR2.0 just aren't good enough. What will these cost you to implement? What is the cost of an increasingly disillusioned community? Thanks team. xoxo

LOL well if that's the case for the consoles, for me that's the end of the story for this game! 30fps is unplayable after Dirt's 60fps standard-setting. Edit: The comment was actually that 'On the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, they are aiming for 60fps' So there is some hope for this. But they really have to get a better co-driver than some barking colonel cobbled together from WW1 newsreel audio.

Most of all, I really want to see the rest of the rallies from the first game return in Season 2! I don't really care about rallycross so more proper rallying for me. If we do get new ones, new environments which look unique would be lovely, maybe China or Malaysia? Or actually, how about more stages for the rallies that already exist? Car wise, I'd love to see the Toyota Corolla/Celica make an appearance. The Lada mentioned above would be amazing and maybe we could have the Porsche 911 from the 70s?

F1 2019. The worst rushed Codemasters game yet. The way the car handles the worst yet and the most unrealistic we have ever had. Like Nico Rosberg said in his youtube vlog "unrealistic" and after trying it out i agree with him. Your so called sim racer in charge is a joke. Unrealistic race weekends. A Ferrari driver doing a special race weekend on a old Williams for example. Never going to happen in real life. Relive Senna and Prost! With no actual moments to relive from that era. Or even a classic track to relive a moment in that era. Stupidity at its finest. What a gimmick. Formula 2! another gimmick, no matter how well or bad you do in the game you will advance to Formula 1 regardless. Formula 2=waste of time. The only thing i can say is that the graphics are looking okayish. Even then a regular xbox one struggles. Congratulations Codemasters. Dont know how you manage to make a game worst each year. i'll buy the game when i can find it used for 5 bucks. All its worth in my eyes.

Well thats my entire dilemma wildcat. If there was another company making a fully licensed F1 game featuring all tracks, cars and drivers of a Formula 1 season. I would go buy that instead of this ****. Sadly Codecrappers is all we have. And i still love Formula 1. So this is all we have. And its horrible.

I dont own the game. I wont buy the game unless its 5 bucks. Yes i got a hold of the game for quite sometime thanks to someone like i mentioned in the original post. My review is based on that time i had with it. I do realize its a game. And that's exactly why F1 2019 completely sucks. Its catered to resemble Mario Kart and it handles like a jet ski. Its unrealistic. What we need is a sim like most serious members here have been asking since F1 2010. This game is a joke.
