6 pointsHi guys, a couple of months ago I created a thread with a suggestion for the halo but now I created a more detailed solution and example of what I mean. The Halo is a big problem for any cockpit user and removing the central column is nice but don't look very realistic. An additional option can be added. F1 is a simulator and it`s trying to feel very realistic but the lack of geometry of the equipment make it less authentic. The halo is a part of the modern open wheel single sitters and doesn't disturb the drivers but for the players is a big issue. I was thinking why not introduce 2 sliders one for the size of a mask controlling the area of the transparent part and another one controlling the exact transparency. The eyes naturally make the front of the halo transparent when you drive and a similar effect can be achieved. With the sliders, you can make it transparent let say from 100% to around 10%. The effect can be on the top of the screen and the edges can be more opaque when the mask is resized with the slider. Similar to the image below. With this option, you can still see the sky and surrounding cars and the front of the car but still, have this illusion of the eyes adjusting to the object in front. Here is an example of it. The game makes the car transparent when you drive through objects but this option can be made for the cockpit view making the halo-less of a problem but of a feature.

4 points@AScott Have you seen Lando Norris streaming the game? The first thing he did was turn off the halo, and talked about how in real life you don't see it. He said you see right through it because it's so close and you have two eyes, like how you see your own nose. If an F1 driver says that there's no point arguing.

2 pointsMaking part or all of the halo transparent (to a degree) would solve the problem of keeping halo lovers and halo haters happy all at the same time. Having it as an option would be brilliant. Not as awesome as using the classic cars is but a great compromise. @BiohazardBGR excellent post and gfx.

2 pointsCockpit user here... I just turn off the pillar and go about my day. Making it transparent is just a more convoluted way of deleting the pillar, so what's the point?

1 point@gk9147 I think the WRC 8 stuff belongs here. Regarding the 100+ stages, it looks like Kylotonn has borrowed a move from Codemasters' playbook by stitching stages together. Argentina has two stages which are reversed to make four in total. Then they stitch those two forward stages together and also reverse it to get two long stages. So "six" stages in total. That is unacceptable. I hate that in the DiRT Rallies and I'm sad to see another dev doing it. There is hope that it won't be like that throughout the game, however. Chile has four stages which are reversed, to make eight stages. No stage stitching in Chile. However the Chile stages look to all be 8km or less.

1 pointAnd the final had a crazy start as well. I hate the green light lag. gives some really advantage, but maybe sometimes i have the advantage, and sometimes the other.

1 pointhe said this in 2:40 he said " for the nostalgic player , for the first time in WRC , you can play with historic car alpine , lancia stratos and the famous proton , the proton never driver drive this car is not classic car is new car " kylotonn add real complete super stage in the game , you have 14 country for more 100 stages , 50 rally team, and he add more option for camera views ( third person , onboard .....) for career mode you manage your team, rest of the team or participate in extreme events to earn money but the team is tired,in your team you have meteorologist , doctor and more , and now in wrc carrer you have 2 start choice you start in wrc junior category or you start in wrc 2 private team and after you go in wrc 2 pro team and after you finish in WRC in carrer mode is possible upgrade your team with search and developement sorry for my bad english

1 pointNit happens often, but quite a real RX start in an online even. I am not really used to the Megane, so my driving is not perfect, as i sometimes can't find the correct gears and things.

1 pointAudio is so good in this game, which makes these bugs that much more frustrating. On XBox at least, if and when audio cuts out, pause it and go completely to the Xbox Home screen. The go back to Dirt and you cam resume with full audio again. Just make sure you pause in a good spot!

1 pointMost people don't go for achievements. Go to any single player game and check it out. I have Persona 5 and I think (my brother is borrowing my PS4) that only like 70% of the people beat the first dungeon. Very few finished the game. The same goes for Uncharted 4 and every other game I've checked. I don't really do the campaign mode in dirt and generally just do custom events. I also skip the weeklies n stuff. In other news, this week Mr. The Block heads to Ireland where he complains about the weather, the stages, the locals, the lack of testing on his car, and sabotages a competitors car so he crashes after he was caught trying to steal it. On a more serious note, at the end it's revealed that the rally was canceled due to a large crash in which Manus Kelly, 3 time champ had passed. Mr. The Block offers his condolences, in spite of my dark humor wanting to say he didn't.

1 pointMust the Moto GP 19 game is a bit easy I've got the AI cranked up to 70 and I'm still beating it. The graphics are really nice but the AI is somewhat slow I expected more speed so either I'm better at bike racing games than I thought or this game is easy although I'll admit I've only been racing rookies cup races so far. Maybe it'll get tougher once I go up the order

1 pointalso there was some confusion as to whether we were going to get this or the 2008 one in Season 1. CM confirmed we were getting the 2008 but then also said the 2001 one was for sure coming. early 00s cars are good at helping sell DLC. also honestly it's been in D4 and DR1, and there was already 3 Imprezas at launch so it's nice to get different stuff in base game like RGT, new R5s, new historic cars etc

1 pointYou mean in game? No, it was like this from 2014 to 2018, then Martini stopped sponsoring Williams (and it seems they did so at the right time) Things are getting spicy. Even though I don't know what a hat actually tastes like

1 pointThey have a separate profile for the ClubSport V2 so maybe we’ll get lucky! It seems disheartening to have Fanatec’s flagship formula rim not fully supported by the flagship Formula video game with all the Fanatec banners and signage plastered in game. The Ferrari F1 rim by thrustmaster was supported in previous games so it’s not like Codies don’t have experience with these sort of things. Oh well I guess a DD wheel can wait while I buy a PC then

1 point@SimVansevenant interested in making Kevin Abbring's VW Polo R5 for upcoming Ypres Rally? 😛

1 pointWould be great to get confirmation on whether or not the Fanatec F1 Wheels will have MPS and Rotary support on consoles, Holding off on which platform to buy based on this.

1 point1. "Sequential or H-Pattern +/- Clutch" option is a priority. 2. "Assists" - Have an option to select "Authentic" assists that correspond to the real-world counterpart. 3. Make analog handbrakes available under "input reporting" and give us deadzone, saturation, etc adjustments just like pedals. 4. Brief descriptions of options from within the GUI. 5. Let us choose not only a default steering device, but also a default menu navigation device, so that keyboard keys can show up instead of buttons.

0 pointsI got as far as, the Halo is a big problem for any cockpit user, and lost interest as its false, and ive got zero interest in reading anymore, it has to be said, please edit user for you or some, I have zero, ZERO problems with the Halo, it has to be said, and it was the main reason I bought F1 2019, personally think the biggest problem is, is theirs a option to remove the centre column, this is just another assit, Codemasters this ant Forza it has to be said. Any assisted players disagree, please leave a thumbs down. 👎
