Well, what can I say? Codies, you've outdone yourselves once again. Amazing job on the Porsche and the Lancia, I was really looking forward to these cars finally coming to the game, and what an amazing class the Group B RWD has become. One of my favorites for sure. So much fun, bravo! 👏 😍

Version: 1.04 Platform: Playstation 4, Xbox and PC Mode: Ranked Online (5 laps and 25% distance) Whenever I'm playing online ranked mode, I'm getting way too low amount of skill points when I win. I know it depends on amount of players in lobby, but for example, in 10 player lobby, when I finish 4, I'm getting like 10 points max. And what's worse, it doesn't matter if I drive 5 laps or 25% distance. But now the worst part. If you place somewhere in the back, game takes way too much points from you. Once I was driving on 1sf position and I've got error... I lost about 300 skill points. This is ridiculous and not even my fault. TL:DR: We lose way too much skill points for stuff like being rammed, destroyed or even from game errors and we are earning way too low. Stuff like this shouldn't even happen... Going for the achievement Pure Gold itself is pain in the ass. At least give us ability to improve skill rating in unranked matches while playing with our friends. Sorry to say this, but the game is once again broken in online mode at the start. Year after year the same thing happens over and over again. I think, like the rest of us, that it's time to do something with this finally. We came up with few solutions (with forums help of course) that can help us and dev team to decide what to do with this problem: - Significantly increase rewarding points and lower the negative ones. We are being punished way too hard right now. Points are also really slowing down when around 1800 points. We are winning like couple of points (if we are lucky) and losing tons of them (when not lucky). - Positive points for more places than just above 50%. Sometimes we even get negative points for placing much higher than half of the grid and we're still getting negative points. It's really depressing to when you're being punished for your hard work. - Completely remove negative points for being destroyed, disconnections and game errors. It's not our fault, so we shouldn't be punished for such an accidents. No points won't hurt anybody and we can at least play and have fun without being worried that someone will ram us to the wall. - Give us ability to increase Skill Rating in Unranked races. We can play with friends and that way increase skill and than be matched with other players that know how to race. I'm mean, for real, nobody would mind that, right? - Lower requirements for the "Pure Gold" trophy/achievement. It's kinda linked to above points but it doesn't hurt to mention it. Right now it's really very unfair achievement. - I know this is not related strictly to the skill rating system, but please improve penalty system. It needs drastic updates, because right now there literally no penalty system at all. People can do whatever they want and there's no punishment. PS. Please, if you really want this problem to be fixed, spread the word and share link to this topic whenever you need. The more people will give their voice the more chances it will be fixed.

Last logged in May 7th. I can see his email address so could email him if you want? 😛 Welcome back @buttonfan! I still haven't forgiven you for ramming me off at Eau Rouge all those years ago 😠

It'd be a real nice feature to be able to set custom scores for each round. I run a league where we use WRC scoring, would like to do that without having to copy/paste to an excel file.

Looking forward to the 911 and 037 but - sorry in advance for the negativity - is anyone keen on any of the garish Deluxe liveries thus far? Would rather see one or two "real" liveries (or at least realistic looking liveries) in place of those that have been added. The Jon Armstrong Fiesta R5 livery is the only extra one I have really liked so far.

I honestly really don't mind fictional liveries but I do expect some quality designed liveries and not liveries that take half an hour each to create. Liveries are important for me personally and for quite a few others as well. I don't drive cars with poor quality liveries and only pick those with official liveries in one way or another which is usually the first one for most. Or I use one of my own creations or one of another content creator. As is mentioned before, user generated liveries are unofficial so in a way allowed. However, game devs are not allowed to put those tobacco and liquor brands on the cars for legal reasons. That's legislation for you. I do wonder if there are exceptions such as the iconic liveries. You still see those brands on rally cars in historic rallying or liveries based on some of those brand's colour scheme. Most of these examples are from the Ypres Historic Rally 2019: 1. Bastos-livery where the Bastos-logo isn't altered. 2. Bastos-livery where the O is changed to a Q. 3. Belga-livery where Belga is replaced by Markey. Livery based on the Martini colour scheme.

Regarding liveries, I’m not going to talk fine detail about licensing here, but user-generated content and official content are two different things. Also, who knows what kind of agreements there are between Microsoft/Sony and the license-holders; they may very well be different to what we have at Codemasters and I’m not going to be the one to make a guess here.

It has nothing to do with licensing as tobacco and alcohol decals abound in GT Sport. I have scoured the documentation looking for clues as to how it's handled but all I can find is a warning that illegal and offensive decals will be removed. And from experience I know this to be true. PD is active in removing offensive content. However, real-world stuff like old liveries with tobacco and alcohol are never taken down. It must have something to do with the fact that they are user-made and falls into "Any depiction or recreation of real world locations, entities, businesses, or organizations is not intended to be or imply any sponsorship or endorsement of this game by such party or parties. " Just look at some of these examples. There's even some Codies-themed stuff there:

Btw the fake liveries can look ok or even cool in DiRT Rally 2.0 if they do some effort in it (and not look at the numberplates 😛 ) Ohlins Impreza (i think is also on a RX2) is one of the liveries i really. Also this Focus 2007 lviery is quite ok (also the only normal livery, and was also already in D4): Also the Snap-On black/orange livery is quite cool. Same design as the Ohlins, but with a different touch: Also this Pug Rx livery is ok Thrustmaster livery (I also think is on a few others) And some nice R5 Overall there are some ok fictional liveries, but there are more crappy plain liveries compared to the few ok fictional liveries.

@couger1981 Crikey... either that is a lot of people very bored at work for a very long time or people that are passionate about Codemasters (I think I belong in both camps). Gotta admit, as a relative newbie, that the community here is pretty relaxed and fairly kind. Get the odd bit of abuse, that just the internet for ya. I wish I had joined a long time ago, like you. But I didn't really get back into gaming until about 4 years ago (Laid up after a motorbike accident. Dirt Rally 1 saved my sanity).

When the devs respond very quickly to the below post, but never respond to your suggestion it worries me that it’s a non starter. it’s a bit like when ppl make requests for cars. Someone asked for the ibiza and 306 f2 cars from dirt rally 1, and they got a wink emoji back from Christina. But when people mention other cars (206, legacy, late 90’s impreza etc) there is never a response from codies. i’m just trying to read between the lines go figure out what future content is likely and what isn’t haha

Hi! Due to licensing issues we are unable to put the players names on the licensed/real liveries. Thanks Matt

Sure. And what about you? Maybe you could also show what you have got instead of commenting the other ones? Besides: 'Again, drop your pics in here regardless if you want to share, but clearly state IF THEY'RE USING MODDED ASSETS.'

Should do yes. It's better than it was, if it needs more work I can always tweak it again.

Honestly, if they just removed the giant "+" sign on them, they'd immediately start looking better. Not fixed, but better. the D2 is corny, but some of the liveries aren't terrible until you see the giant promo branding.

I'd like to see at least one new rally besides Greece and Finland though. Another tarmac one would be nice.

I messaged @Faya, but so far no answer. It seems that she's the community manager? Hope she will see this topic and pass it along to devs.

I have a few bugs & issues that may have been mentioned already: -Tunes reset after every stage, you have to retune at every service park -I finished a stage in a club event with no damage (1st pic) but when I rolled up to the start of the next stage, it looked like I had an off (2nd pic) -Can only set one car class per event, I run a multiclass league in a single club but in DiRT Rall 2.0 I may have to set up a club for each class which takes a lot of time to manage.
