2 pointsThis is the one I really wish was represented more in games. I know why it's not but man it just looks way cooler.

2 pointsCan we not all agree that the best skill point system for online ranked races would be to base it on real life and not the size of lobbies as i won yesterday in a 6 man lobby i got 1 point yes 1 point next race i finish 5th i lost 30 points that would take me 30 wins in that lobby to regain those lost points, This system doesn't work at all and penalize those in smaller lobbies quite heavy lets get it so it's a set format regardless of lobby size so just like real life:- 1st - 25 Points 2nd - 18 Points 3rd - 15 Points 4th - 12 Points 5th - 10 Points 6th - 8 Points 7th - 6 Points 8th - 4 Points 9th - 2 Points 10th - 1 Point Also you could add an extra point for fastest lap now if you really wanted you could make - points for lower than 10th and make it backwards so 11th - -1 Point, 12th - -2 Points and so on this just seems like it should be something so simple to change i love racing online for the most part but this skill system is just so unfair due to rammers, game crashes, loss of connection etc.

1 pointThis is a link to my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/RALLYTechnical I will be sharing all the setups I create on DiRT Rally 2.0. So if you cant be bothered or just don't know how to tune then this channel will eventually be a one stop shop for you. The most up to date setups will be in the SETUPS section of my channel home page. I will be holding polls in the community section of my YouTube channel to choose the next car. You Can find the polls here https://www.youtube.com/c/GTRTechnical/community The plan is to tune every car in the game for every location. This is what i'm calling 'phase 1'. All these setups will be focused around soft tyres in the dry and no stage deg, unless otherwise stated on the right hand side of the video, to put it simply these are more focused on max attack stage times. Once all cars are done i'll start 'phase 2'. Phase is where i will setup every car again for every location with full stage deg, for all tyre and weather combinations these will be much softer on the suspension as the focus will be on drive-ability for the conditions you face during the course of a rally and will be more forgiving when mistakes are made. In hindsight, i know i should of started with what i have planned for phase 2 but my DR2.0 setups campaign was the first time i attempted any thing of this scale and i wasn't sure if it would generate any interest (16,500 people have showed me i'm doing something good so far by subscribing to my YT channel), i've learnt a lot and listened to your feedback so i'll make sure i start off on the right foot if/when DiRT Rally 3 is released. If you like the setups obviously please show your appreciation with a like just so I know I'm still on the right track with the setups. If you want to keep up to date with the latest setups I've done, either subscribe to my YouTube channel and/or follow me on Twitter. Good luck on the stages! 1 pointI think that's a fantastic idea, maybe less than the top 10 because obviously lobbies with 10 or less would always get points but your idea with some tiny tweaks would be great!

1 pointI've found digital as a handbrake is fine, however, a button is useless every time for me, I've used the h shifter with a rubber band on it for ages.

1 pointSuch is life in the Zone. Wait... someone who wasn't Mr. The Block crashed in an older classic? That's possible?

1 pointHa, not quite @UnderclassGDfan: I have just read too many books on the Impreza! The early rally quattros (A1 & A2) were long wheelbase, based on the Ur-quattro road car and originally entered under Group 4 regulations. The Sport quattro was a short wheelbase development of the Ur-quattro; the Sport quattro was the road car, the S1 was the original competition rally car and the E2 the winged evolution car which followed in 1985. Yeah, Rohrl used an E2 quattro at Pikes Peak in 1987. The history of the quattro is immense, if you want to learn all about the different versions then I would recommend this: https://www.rallyandracing.com/en/rallywebshop/books/cars/audi-quattro-the-rally-history?c=1404 It's not the cheapest book but it is, in my personal opinion, by far the best book you will find on the history of the quattro. All the McKlein books are awesome.

1 point1998 was the year the car was raced, but the 22B was a road car, not a rally car... ...it's been a repeat topic on this forum (and it's predecessor) for many years: I expect the mods to lead by example!

1 pointI see people talking about the sound glitch, if you are PC Steam, you can pause > alt tab > go and open up your sound settings > change your output device to something else breifly, and apply > Then simply change it back to what you had before, and bring the game back up! Should be fixed 🙂

1 pointQuick suggestion: if you post only 1 or 2 pictures, they’ll be much more meaningful than if you post 9 or 10. Posting too many at once just dilutes their individual impact. Fewer pictures means people will spend more time looking at each one, engaging with them and being affected by them. Too many, though, and people gloss over them; it becomes the image equivalent of a giant wall of text.

1 pointI think the best solution would be to remove skill points only for DNF, DSQ and quitting (I mean mostly rage quit, not by game error or disconnection as those are two different things). Than we get most points for higher positions, max for 1st and minimum or 0 for last, but no negative points. It takes all the fun from online play, especially when you're being rammed and you get like -40 points, because it's impossible to take back your position in 5 laps race. PS. If you agree with our statements about skill rating, please upvote next to the topic title, for more recognition.

1 point@AScott Have you seen Lando Norris streaming the game? The first thing he did was turn off the halo, and talked about how in real life you don't see it. He said you see right through it because it's so close and you have two eyes, like how you see your own nose. If an F1 driver says that there's no point arguing.
-
1 pointIf Nico Rosberg said the handling is unrealistic, I would take his word for it, because he is an ex F1 world champion with very technical knowledge about the physics of the sport. Also, the idea that code master vehicle handling is really based on the realistic physics of the 2019 spec car, given it is not a sim, is quite ridiculous. In my opinion, code masters handling and braking are simply made up to imitate the real thing.

1 pointhow on earth can you guarantee that? there's just people waiting in the wings to buy the game and/or DLC so they can get mods on the small number of DLC cars?

1 pointHere is my contribution. Poland is beautiful. Platform: PS4 By the way, it would be much easier if we had photo mode you know.. 😉

1 pointTotally realistic list, but I don't understand, why nobody wants the VW Polo R WRC & Fiesta RS WRC for a 2010s class!? I mean, the cars are pretty old right now, were in the first game...licensing can't be much harder since the first DR. Yes, BigBen has the license for WRC, but we have the C4, wich is just 3 years older than the Polo R!?
