9 pointsThe difference is Dirtfish is in a free update. While I do agree that remastering DR1's rally locations as dlc is disappointing, it makes more sense to reuse dirtfish as 1. It is a well known real world training complex, and it works well. 2. A free driving space is not the main focus of this game, why put so much effort to create a new one? I'd rather they put the money and time into new rally stages.

5 pointsIt's time. VR is here! Read about the announcement here: http://www.codemasters.com/dirt-rally-2-0-vr-puts-players-in-the-driving-seat/ Steam users also have OpenVR support via the 1.7 update. A new test drive location, liveries and more in the 1.7 update. http://blog.codemasters.com/dirt/08/vr-dirtfish-patch-notes-version-1-7-of-dirt-rally-2-0/

5 pointsSo glad VR is here. I don't have any VR gear myself, but I am hoping this will put an end to the whining "No VR, No Buy" posts!

5 pointsCan anything please you? People complain about not having DirtFish this time around, asking specifically for it because it is such a well known rally school and location that everyone liked in previous titles Codies delivers what is requested The internet complains that they got "rehashed" content I think Steam is leaking again...

4 pointsdid you know Dirt Rally 1 had 2 rally locations from Dirt 3? sounds like you could be describing the WRC series, Forza Motorsport 7, F1 2019, every sports game ever, etc etc etc at least the Dirt games have different physics every release.
-
4 pointsIt's literally a location, it doesn't mean they're adding challenges or other stuff, it's just a handling pad/location - you know, for an actual, real life rally school....
-
4 pointsAdding dirtfish to DR2.0 doesn't necessarily means the game will have a lighter/more arcadish mood, like the dirt series games. It just adds a location where we can test setups and practice the handling. RBR also had a rally school, and i don't think anyone can say RBR was a arcade game...

3 pointsI would be shocked and amazed if they introduce another FFB update. It would appear that FFB ship has sailed...there is no way they are going to allocate resources to writing more FFB code. It is what it is folks. IF they release another DIRT game, maybe then we’ll see a truer more accurate sense of FFB. For the record, I find the current arrangement tolerable, but far from perfect. It’s a shame really, because DR 2.0 was a golden oppty to hit a home run with an improved FFB model. The user base was there, the hype was there, but it fell flat quickly on the FFB front and so along with it went away the hard core crowd that directly influence the lasting ‘buzz’ with any good racing game.
-
3 pointsAbsolutely. Yeah, they could design an all new area for DR2.0, but Dirtfish was more than adequate in D4 and I would rather that is added now then having to wait longer for an all new environment when all I want is a wide open space to play with the cars in.

2 pointsDR1 was a blast to me. DR2 is awesome. So adding the blast DR1 locations into the awesome DR2 lets us to have a damn blast awesome game. So, I’m happy. Just add Pikes peak mode, the Hyundai and the mini RX, the f2000 cars and I can die quietly. Indeed, after many weeks of playing 🤓

2 pointsyes but instead of a copy and paste from dirt we could have had a whole new location for a rally school, but no just like most of dirt rally 2.0 copy paste rinse and repeat from dr1 now dirtfish from dirt see where i'm coming from, where is the creativity gone if codies are just going to do the same thing over and over again and charge you for a new game that is actually a reskin of last one.no one is pushing the boundaries or even trying it seems.

2 pointsAnd to do super awesome drifts through while letting our inner Kenneth Block out! Seriously, I know people think the whole gymkhana thing is super "bro" and isn't in the spirit of true rally, but goddamn if it isn't an absolute blast to do. It also lets you hone your skills 100x faster than doing normal stage rally because you can force yourself to attack an obstacle constantly until you learn serious car control. Not to mention playing follow the leader back in D3 with all your friends drunkenly at the end of the night is some of my best memories in Dirt

1 pointi want drive rally with rallycross car too ( WRX , s1600, RX , crosskarts ) , look 600 HP car in rally tracks would have amazing cant wait to see that
-
1 pointYeah probs gonna be be 2-0 after Lords, though I'm not sure were picking our best XI atm, imo Wade's 100 was a fluke and he will not pass single figures for the rest of the series. Biggest question going into Lords for us is what to do with a fit Starc, I don't think either Patto or Sids deserve to be dropped to make room.

1 pointThis is mine, and this is what I need to see included before I start buying these games again: Force cockpit view for multiplayer VR support The ability to practice in single player, in any car, with the Equal car setting enabled There's a lot of stuff I'd like to see in addition to this, but these are the only 3 items that are holding me back from buying, so I won't even bother to list the others at this time.

1 pointHello ! I wish we will have more tarmac rallyes. Corsica could be the best compromise with san remo. With more cars like old WRC (206, xsara...) ans kit cars (306 vs megane for 2l ans saxo and others in s1600) It could be nice to have more stages for each rallyes and a spectator mod for the online. We are organising a big Championship with the "Corsica SimRacing " team (join us on Facebook) with commentary, and it could be more proffessional !
