Im running this game on PC with a i7 9700k, 1080ti and 32 gigs of ram and an oculus VR. Even with the reccommended settings that supposedly run good on a 1060 I am still getting a frame drop every 3 to 5 seconds. I have about 40 to 50% of headroom according to oculus debug performance monitor and it will still drop from 90 fps to about 50 fps every few seconds. There is something wrong and it's not a graphics setting.

I just want an "all skate" option where I can run any car on any track/stage.

Unfortunately it's not a case of asking who owns the car, more who built the car and who's advertised on it. However, i wouldn't put it past Codies to release some DLC not yet announced...

Helped for me reduce "lag". Open SteamVR -> open settings -> go to Developer> unmark "Starts SteamVR when a VR application starts -> close SteamVR. It still launch SteamVR in start, but different way. I guess it same like command "-vrmode oculus", but that didnt work for me

there is no reason why the oculus version and steam version should have such vastly different performance. if you do not acknoweledge it as a bug then you are making it clear to us you and oculus are working together to scam us out of our money. we paid for the vr version and we expect to get it. native steam vr/ open vr support should work better than the oculus sdk going through revive, but this is not the case here.... so even if you do not fix the steam version which you have either intentionally gimped or you are just half assing it and don't know what you are doing... but even if you leave the steam version (open vr) broken. then at least allow steam users to access the oculus api version of the game. in my case I have wmr but I could then use revive to get it working. which is what I expected to have to do. at first the inclusion of native open vr support seemed like a nice surprise to me. but now that its clear this is a very very flawed version I would much prefer to be running the oculus sdk through revive. I bought this game just for vr. I have waited almost a year for it to be implemented. I have sat through your shady business practices with all the dlc instead of finishing/ fixing the actual game. I have accepted the silly always online stuff. but now as well as giving us a game you label as a sim racer but with such poorly implemented force feedback and vr support that it might as well be a forza horizon game... I am not happy. fix the vr versoin. I don't care how long it takes. I can wait. I just need you to know you are going to. otherwise someone in trigger happy America that loves to sue should bloody well sue you.

For once I'm happy with current VR implementation because the original Dirt Rally had ONLY Oculus support, now there is proper support for all VR owners. And why you Oculus owners feel so betrayed - you played the game already for months, and now can play it in VR. No one is stopping you. And I'm sure that this is Oculus decision not to allow Oculus SDK in Steam version.

This is incredibly disappointing news, and a spit in the face to everyone who supports Codemasters and the Dirt Rally series. If the Oculus API isn't going to be supported in the Steam version, the right thing to do would be to provide folks who purchased the game with an Oculus Key. Knowind Codies' history, I doubt that will happen. Shame it's too late for me to refund the game - the only reason a lot of people bought it was the promise of VR support.

Not having a remappable Center view button is a HUGE issue in VR. Please add it to the priority.

Yes, but some other cars are also not in the correct class... f.e. the Stratos. Also in the 90's the WRC and Group A cars already were fighting against each other. Maybe the best adjustment would be to change the - Group A to a 90's class (Group A and 90's WRC's): Evo 6 being replaced by something else to have 4 cars - Than have a millenial class: Group A EVO 6 and early 00's "Rally" cars (206, Impreza, Focus) = 4 cars - 2000cc class: with the mid and late 00's "Rally" cars (Impreza, C4, Focus, Skoda) = 4 cars

I'm curious as to why VR has now been supported, but proper triple screen is still missing.

@PJTierney For your feature request List. Especially if Season 4 is the end and there will be no '99 Impreza or further 2001 cars: If not happened already, pelase make the team aware that the Evo VI did indeed compete in the 2001 WRC and is a direct competitor to the other 2001's as well as that the 2010 C4 is unfair match in the 2000ccm, therefor a new class should really really be considered? Or is even the class system bound to licencing and manufacturers demand certain opponents for their stuff?? If that is not possible (why?...), at the very least put a "cherry picking cars" for leagues onto the list. So that leagues/clubs could at least design seasons where the C4 is prohibited or the Focus drives against the Evo.

Is DiRT Rally 2.0 the same on Steam and Oculus? The Oculus release is a separate version of the game and is not included with purchase of the Steam version. The Oculus version provides native support to Oculus devices through the Oculus SDK. Will the Steam version eventually provide native support through the Oculus SDK? Maybe with a update? I guess we should know that at least, is it planned?

Hello all, I’m still alive by the way. I heard something about a Peugeot maxi and a 206 WRC and Finland and I seem to have had some sort of trouser accident. Can’t wait

There's also no trace of the "leaked" Mini and Nissan. I hope they are for Season 5 and not removed because of licencing problems.

As has been repeatedly said, state specifically what you want, don't just complain in vague terms that it's not good enough. That's not helpful to anyone.

PJTierney can we at least have the same sliders as controller users as this may reduce the need for a ffb update.just a thought that might just save the devs some time and give us some much needed reassurance that things can be achieved if we all work together.all inputs should have the same ffb regardless if its a controller.wheel or keyboard and mouse.pretty please with a cherry on top.could be a simple fix for a complex problem ?.
