1 pointTextures overall seems to have taken a hit compared to DR. Road textures are also pretty bland in many cases. I guess it's a multi platform thing?

1 pointHere on PC, having fun with the Dirt WRC Italia Championship. Look the details on the windscreen! this is crazy! and i didn't even used a sort of editing program! it's all from vanilla game with an average-spec PC

1 pointThis I would like to see patched in DR2. I don't see the problem with shorter gears, but the over-reving down gearing should get patched, like massive damage to the gearbox depending on how bad the over-rev down gearing was. In extreme abuse, insta terminal damage. @PJTierney

1 pointJust bought a M2 1TB SSD. I don't really have room for a fourth SSD and so a M2 is the better option, plus it was only £112. Going SSD only years ago was great, but back then games were like 15GB max, now they can be 100GB lol. Also bought Sakiro, what a great game. Playing it on my 4K HDR TV as the game only supports 60fps unless you mod it, but that didnt work well for me. So playing it at max setting at 4k and getting 60fps, looks amazing.

1 pointso my question is how they could do the correct driving physics if the models are off? just curious
-
1 pointAww, i found another big problem... IDK who is that 3D artist @ Codemasters who doesn't care about UVW Maps and take several parts to wrong place? BWOAH Look at his Mitsubishi Mirage R5 rear wing parts: Their UVW Map has been stored on the middle of the right rear door!!! Here: Now i can't make a proper new custom livery for free for users, because of this sh.t

1 pointHere's some research about R5 class wheel tracks: First of all FIA regulations is maximized the wheel track of each class. R5 wheel track is set to 1618 mm (both at front and rear axle) data at citroenracing.com: How does the model look (it is important, because no visual correction (offset) has been made, like for example in case of Assetto Corsa), so what 3D model settings has got, exactly what you can see on your screen during gameplay) : You can see how much narrower is the wheel track in DR 2.0 ... Let's calculate the difference! I put a box tho the outer sides of the tyres to check dimensions. R5 cars uses ~200 mm tyres on their wheels, that means you have to calculate minus 10 cms on each side to get the middle position of the wheels - which used for wheel track As you can see, the 174 cm between of the outer sides, so we have to calculate 174 - 2x10 = 1540 mm 1618 - 1540 = 78 mm - 7,8 cm is the difference That means almost minus 4 centimeters offset on each side. The R5 cars runs on almost 8 cm less wide wheel tracks! That's a huge difference! That is the answer why all the cars looks so weird in class R5 (and many others, like the Stratos) ...

1 pointThis needs to be looked at, or at least a statement on why it has been done like this.
-
1 pointFirst of all, all R5 cars has got (at least in visuals?) wrong track width, which is given by FIA Regulation and have to be the same 1,665 mm for all cars in R5 category. But now all of them looks incorrect, the look far less than 1,665 mm.

0 pointsWRC7 was also 30fps on console. with motion blur on (which is not an excessive effect in WRC7), you don't really even notice the slower frame rate after a while. your eyes adjust to it. there is still a good sense of speed, especially since the cars accelerate like rocket ships. honestly, i think the 30fps on console is probably due to the dynamic weather. don't think it's possible to do dynamic weather and 60fps on console. probably the reason the dynamic weather from Dirt 4 is not in DR2.0, especially since DR2.0 has much better-looking stages. the stages in Dirt 4 were pretty bare-bones. we just need the next console generation to hurry up already.

0 pointsThey should remove all the gear indicators from all the cars which never ever used them, to make interiors full authentic. Who need this should use SimHUB with an independant screen (for example Phone or tablet)

0 pointsIt wouldn’t paint a clear picture launching a poll on the site that is occupied mostly by people having issues with the game , leaving all those players who thinks is fine but don’t visit the site because of reasons. Actually it would paint a picture, a picture that doesn’t represent the majority of the players. So no, it would do more harm than good.

0 pointsHow do you know, have you asked all the players playing 2019? No? Then this is just another non basis view. 🤫
