2 pointsI like this thread, it's wholesome โบ๏ธ I desperately need to get into DR2 modding, I made some DR1 skins back in the day!

2 pointsMy main problem is still that camera and head movements are not exactly matched in the car, like there is a latency. It's alright in the menu. I've tried everything in 1.7: not a performance issue, changed about all the settings back and forth, disabled Motion Smoothing, re-plugged my old Vive. It's the same in 1.8 with the Index at least. If needed I can plug back my Vive in to try again, but it seems it wasn't worked on. Platform: Steam Headset: Index PC: i5 4590, 8GB RAM, GTX 1070 Deluxe edition Note: others also reported it with a different hardware or point of view

1 pointYou are welcome. I take that approach as well even though sometimes a little mistake slips through the net but overall they are all completely finished when I release them. There's a form of comradery amongst fellow livery designers that's nice to see. I follow several others as well to see what they are up to and help new modders out if they have questions. I had a few weeks of holiday this summer which was the time I released quite a few liveries but now that work is in full swing again, and there are some high-level clubs I race in and need to practise for, time is very limited at the moment. Like @mesa said, keep up the good work everyone! ๐

1 pointSo the 'Rally Dakar' (A Rally Raid) was never even a Rally in your mind, despite being labeled as Rally. So DR2 has made the same mistake as the Rally Dakar in being deceptive to what is offered. Think about all those poor souls, going to watch Rally Dakar. They expected the trucks would go on forest roads and not cross country with nor regards for roads. Also those trucks were nowhere close to a proper homologated Rally car they knew from History. they all went home very sad, cause that wasnt the thing the 'Rally Dakar' sign promised to them.

1 pointyes, with the utmost respect. Rally is rally. rallycross is another discipline, rally raid, hillclimb still a different discipline. Gt, DTM ect other disciplines. The word Rally identifies purely the Rally

1 pointThanks for your kind words, @SRD_SimVansevenant ! โบ๏ธ As you said i'm an accurate man so i can spend a lot of time on research, but i hope the results can satisfy for the longer waiting time ๐ @chukonu I don't like the way how Racedepartment works and their current policy so i decided to never release anything at least for a while. But you should follow me on FB to be always updated https://www.facebook.com/MesasArtworks/ Thanks for your interest guys! I also love all your creations too! Even i have no time on response all, but follows all your jobs. keep up the good works, modder-friends! ๐คด

1 pointman, who else here can't wait for Greece!? very excited for it and the kit cars ๐ edit: i was less into the 01 focus and impreza because I've already driven the C4, 07 Focus, 08 Impreza & Fabia more than 1400km in DR2... which is easily more than any other class except maybe R5

1 pointPlease fix all these remaining regressions compared to Dirt Rally 1 (sorry, too many of them to make a single post for each): Disable SteamVR's chaperonne grid. The in-race menu is still hard to read, put it on the steering wheel and big enough, like in DR1. Remove the in-race menu blur effect, it prevents seeing the effects of changing graphical settings live. It hurts the framerate, too. Mouse support in the menu. Edit: Option for 3D replays Push back the mirror planes through their frames. They look 3D in DR1 thanks to this trick, in 2.0 they are flat.

1 pointWhat platform you're playing on: PS4 Deluxe user non-standard peripherals connected: Thrustmaster T300 THIS EFFECTS ALL WHEEL/CONTROLLER USERS. Main Bug: Audio for turbos not playing when releasing the gas pedal. Audio for Blow-off valves/turbo seem to still be bugged when gas is not bound to a button. If the gas is bound to a button this effect is extremly noticable and clearly a problem for those of us (most) who use a pedal set, to my knowlegde this bug also effects controllers. Codies have arguably one if not THE best sound of most sim studios and to be lacking on such good sounds is a travesty ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป ๐ป DiRT Rally 2.0 Blow off valve sound glitch. ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ ๐บ

1 pointSteam/HTC Vive/i5-4690/GTX 970/Thrustmaster TX Tried both low and ultra low settings with the recommended modifications (AA off, no ground cover/crowds, etc.), and while frame rate is good I find that the world view is very laggy in VR. Interestingly enough the UI overlays don't lag at all. It's very noticeable when you turn or move your head, and the effect is pretty nauseating. I've recorded the effect in the pause menu in the following Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/dirtgame/comments/cz90yi/dr2_vr_camera_lag_in_18_openvrvive The effect doesn't look as severe in a 30fps video, but you can see the green starting line sign lagging behind the menu text. The real weird thing is I had no lag in VR the day before yesterday, but when I launched around 0930 BST (the 1.8 patch got queued for download right after I launched) I experienced very, very heavy lag of this sort. With the 1.8 patch this lag is reduced, but still in the unplayable category. DiRT Rally 2.0 2019-09-03 11-31-36_Trim.mp4

1 pointPlayed and tested the new 1.8 in VR (Steam/Oculus Rift/1080ti). First of all great that you can choose to start in 2D or VR via steam menu. I always race in VR and my son in 2D. VR mode seems to be equally the same as before. I expected UI text the be larger or closer by. I think performance wise no changes (is that correct?) and I'm already satisfied with the VR performance so far.
