There's a 6 right into a left 1 in Poland as well, and the co-driver brings up the left 1 really late 😭 It reminds me of this gem from r/dirtgame: (That said, it's my fault I keep overshooting it because Phil does say "slow" before the right 6! 😅)

Something from Germany and my first runs with Peugeot 306 Maxi. Brilliant car and really fun to drive 😉 | PC

Looks like the usual bug has happened again. If so then the cars will be added to your game within the next couple of days - far from ideal but at least you shouldn't have to pay anything. Codemasters - Why does this happen every single time a DLC is released??

Here are my screenshots, love taking screen shots in VR really shows off the beautiful immersive scenery.

Mmm...that’s pretty embarrassing.a couple of days?!i have basically payed already all the dlc content and now i’m Not even able to use it?!and I bet this **** it’s going to happen every 2 week?...I have always supported CM work but this is bad guys, really bad. These are things that must absolutely not happen if I already payed for the seasons contents in advance you absolutely must respect the deliveries.those are the kind of bugs you MUST fix ASAP. this is NOT the way to treat supporters Cody 😞 How long has this thing been going on?

Do you really want to hear about the supreme abilities of Codemasters to make things proper ? They basically screwed up all you could screw with this game. Despite all the mess with the releases, the versions, the DLCs, Oculus SDK and such the game is one of the best I have ever played in VR. That's basically why I really want this to get fixed and work the way it is finally supposed to.

My method is to learn which co-driver calls can't be trusted and/or which corners I've ****ed up on and let the smooth Welsh voice in my ear guide me through the rest of the stage 😛 Sometimes the pacenotes that aren't to be trusted go to the other extreme and suggest going a bit too slow, such as at Bidno Moorland where there's a fast bit before the arena section; Phil: "4 Right" Me:

I see all these complaints about Greece, whilst I'm just happy that they changed the stupid tight "Right 4" with a rock face on the inside and a post on the outside to a "Right 3" 😛

What is a good setup for the SF90 on Singapore? Will a balanced set up work?

@PJTierney I caved and purchased the Oculus Store version of the game in order to do some more testing in VR. Its so much better. Testing the performance difference between the Oculus Store and Steam versions of this game in VR. I tested on Spain, as I found it to be the worst Rally from an FPS performance stand point within the steam version of the game when using VR. I also turned off ASW using "Oculus Tray Tool" in order to read the FPS properly, and to make sure temps where not a factor at all; I have been running aircon to cool my studio room to 18° before playing, and turned the CPU and GPU fans up to a fixed speed setting of 90%. The in game graphical settings are the same between both versions of the game (the same settings as in my last video I posted in this thread), but I have reduced the resolution in SteamVR on the steam version by a considurable amount. Its the ONLY way I can get anywhere near a playable and somewhat stable FPS on the steam version of the game in VR. I used Oculus Mirror and OBS in order to record the Oculus performance overlay with the gameplay. All this was to make sure it is an apples to apples comparison, with the only difference been between SteamVR and the Oculus version of the game. Its a night and day difference in terms of performace, the Oculus store version performed miles better on all stages. The headset tracking stutter in the steam version was not present in the Oculus Store version, so made for a vastly smoother experience. I did still get a frame rate drop around the buildings near the start of the stage in the video, but no way near as bad as the SteamVR version performed in the same area. It remained highly playable on the Oculus store version. Either way, there is something not right at Spain. At least with this new video of mine, the Devs can see the areas that are causingthe drops, and can potentially find what is causing the FPS to tank in both versions of the game in those areas. From the Rallys stages I have loaded up, Spain is the only one that exhibits this specific frame drop; in either the Steam or Oculus store versions. The Oculus store version though, even with ASW turned off for framerate reading purposes, remained totally playable for me. Its really annoying though, because now I have to choose between playing a version in VR that is actually playable in VR but without DLC, or playing a version that is terrible in VR but has all the DLC. I did have to run the Oculus Store version through steam in order to get any game audio however, that needs correcting. If I launch through the Oculus app or via Oculus home while wearing the headset, I get no audio at all.

So that is why our battle stopped. Very unlucky.

As I mentioned multiple times already, when everything's locked down we'll say more. Until then there are no updates, sorry. Tagging me in every post won't make the process go any faster as it's already something being discussed.

Thank God (or actually Codemasters GRID team) that we haven't got magical brakes while cutting the corner like it used to be in 2 recent 'GRID' games. 👍 Congratulations Codies. After 12 years of making games from 'GRID' series you know how to make penalties for corner cutting.* *Do not read that as a sarcasm.

Exactly! Why not have the option for both, shouldn't be a huge hassle to setup and would make the game more consistent. All the cars from the first game had this feature, so I don't understand why CM haven't been consistent in DR2.

A while ago Lamborghini unveiled this crazy off-road concept. Would certainly bring something new to the game - CAR: Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato - CLASS: Its own - IMAGE: Or how about some more Group B - CAR: Porsche 959 - CLASS: Group B 4WD - CHAMPIONSHIP / SEASONS: Group B was shut down by the time it was complete but it did compete in 1986 Paris-Dakar rally - IMAGE: - CAR: Ferrari 288 GTO - CLASS: Group B RWD - CHAMPIONSHIP / SEASONS: Was intented to race in Group B but never did - IMAGE: Also post-2017 spec WRC cars. CM cannot get a license for the real cars I get that, but then maybe do a semi-fictional/fictional car or two
