Hello there! I’m looking to start a racing league for F1 2019 on PS4. Let me know if you would like to join. As I live in the UK I’ll be accepting those who live in the UK or in Europe. Races will be 50% long. I’m unsure with the Qualifying as to whether i’ll set it to short or full. Assists, though I’m not 100% certain as to whether I’ll allow them or not, my preference is to not enable them. My PSN is RoastedBeef02 so if you’d like to join reply to this with your PSN and I’ll add members.

🎮 Entspannte Mitfahrer gesucht - Amateure & Fortgeschrittene willkommen! Moin, Moin! Einsteigen also jederzeit möglich! 🏎️💨

A lot of us love cockpit view and we need to have the information Infront of us instead of in the MFD so we can compete better with non cockpit view drivers. A changing wheel display of a good size is way better and more helpful than a distracting MFD on the right (PS4) and Yes good size we need to see the numbers. For example we go to brake bias the wheel display changing to brake bias number once set it jumps back to normal settings, which is the default return for each menu. If Jeff suggestions a change in strategy it come up as a big display showing the same information the MFD would with tyre choice race position maybe even recommended laptop and we just press the voice button to ok or MFD to say no or if possible say yes or no. In Q1 -3 if we get that far the sector times should be big numbers in the middle of the display all the information that you give us in the top left corner should be in that display. In. Simple words our MFD should be the wheel display. One benefit of having this is you can cut down on wasted button & use the MFD short cut more, which is both fun & will help with less wheel mistake in race Also you see how all non cockpit views have there telemetry available to them this should be included in our halo brake on the left gas on the right.

The obvious answer is lack of time, as is very often the case when the question is "why wasn't this feature implemented?"

Nothing to it then, eh? Couple of days work, right?

agreed. it was weird starting this game and seeing the puddles doing nothing at all. I think it's because they're generated by an algorithm or something rather than placed in each spot specifically. in this game there are puddles everywhere when it's raining, whereas standing water in older games had to be placed in specific spots manually, so its usage was much more limited. this does mean however that you get puddles in super weird places sometimes, especially in Germany. check the screenshots i took below. they just show that the puddles aren't placed there by someone who knows how water works (ie, a human). so making physics effects and sound effects for all of them is probably really hard. it's a case where they went for visual impressiveness over reality a little. you win some, you lose some, I guess. these two puddles (right of car on first photo, left in second photo) are on hills. that should not happen. [ livery from http://mesasartworks.hu/downloads/dirt-rally2/264-mirage-r5-wrc-05-tribute ] on the other hand, this dip I am about to go through should have a massive puddle in it, because water should drain there from all directions (the fields on both sides, as well as the road in both directions. but it doesn't.

In DiRT 4 you could just throw with the Supercars and you wouldn't loose time. In DiRT Rally 2.0 you really need to drive a lot more tight and clean to go faster. But it is really difficult to get the physics right as sometimes on gravel sideways is faster, and other time more tight is faster on gravel. and I think the developers went for a compromise. Overall the griplevels are still to high (and brakes to strong) in DR2.0, but it has been great step forward compared to the previous games.

So it seems it's Oculus related issue only. I didn't notice such behaviour with Vive. There is a moment, when location load is being finished, just before switching to 4D mode, the game plays "ping" sound and SteamVR environment blinks with colours (on my end). I guess it's the moment when your view might be reset somehow.

In previous topic "v1.8 report bug" I had reported several bugs, which concerned incorrect reports with Italian co-driver, an existing one since version 1.0.. in current version 1.9 have not been corrected, will be corrected in 1.10? Try to understand that reporting same bug 6 or 7 consecutive times, and never seeing it fixed, becomes quite frustrating.. and I no longer want to report the same bug yet, and again, and again..

Loved the Manx International rally video, brought back memories of my many miles round the island - the roads there are superb, and notice the F2 cars they were running, that'd be an amazing location to have in DR 2.0, the rain and fog really changes up the roads there on a daily basis, lots of fun (not?) clearing your visor as you climb through the mountain section (my miles there were on motorcycle)

Lancer Evo IX is one particularly cool car that has been absent from rally games for a while. R4 class could maybe use one more car

random thought: I think this game needs more Evos to balance out all the Imprezas. and I'm saying that as someone who grew up in Subarus

@RedDevilKT -Fuel Mix -Differential -Break Ballast -Engine Temperatures -Tyre wear -Car Damage -Delta to car in front / back -DRS Indicator -Throttle and Break Paddle -Popup Screen that takes around 60% of the overall display for around 1,2 seconds whenever Fuel, ERS, Diff. or BBal is changed But the biggest thing that is missing imo, is customization to the internal Steering Wheel Display as to how we want to place info or what exactly we want to be shown or which color or transparency or even size we want to use etc. You could also make the pages of the MFD become a part of the Steering Wheel Display, where we press a button and can flip through the pages, which ultimately gives Cockpit Users the chance to turn off the MFD because it is a immersion breaker to have the MFD on the right hand side whilst driving in Cockpit Mode. Speaking of Cockpit Mode, will we ever get a proper Helmet Cam as in Project Cars? Nevertheless, there is a lot of creative usages for the Steering Wheel Display, hope you can make the best out of it and give us something that is just as good as the Dashboard App itself.

You are welcome. I take that approach as well even though sometimes a little mistake slips through the net but overall they are all completely finished when I release them. There's a form of comradery amongst fellow livery designers that's nice to see. I follow several others as well to see what they are up to and help new modders out if they have questions. I had a few weeks of holiday this summer which was the time I released quite a few liveries but now that work is in full swing again, and there are some high-level clubs I race in and need to practise for, time is very limited at the moment. Like @mesa said, keep up the good work everyone! 😄

Thanks for your kind words, @SRD_SimVansevenant ! ☺️ As you said i'm an accurate man so i can spend a lot of time on research, but i hope the results can satisfy for the longer waiting time 😄 @chukonu I don't like the way how Racedepartment works and their current policy so i decided to never release anything at least for a while. But you should follow me on FB to be always updated https://www.facebook.com/MesasArtworks/ Thanks for your interest guys! I also love all your creations too! Even i have no time on response all, but follows all your jobs. keep up the good works, modder-friends! 🤴
