4 pointsTotally! I'd like to play the game before the Monaco GP if possible. Also it's better to have the game driving with some bugs than to not have the game at all, IMO. Ideally I'd like to see them release the game on the start of the F1 season, notwithstanding the cons.

3 pointsI would like to have a statistics menu I want to see how many races I've done, wins, losses,... and a tracker to see how many kilometers I have driven since this is important for the 'around the globe' trophy

2 pointsVery disappointed to know that the new grid has vastly toned down damage. The physical crumpling of chassis and frame are basically non-existent. Watch this: https://youtu.be/6sc4P4LPS9Q from 4:20. So far I’ve noticed: 1. Wheels don’t detach anymore. 2. Way less crumpling. 3. Car resets every time you roll. Where are the visceral rolling crashes gone when you’d roll 10 times after hitting a patch of gravel? 4. Mechanical damage is also toned down. I’ve yet to see a single gameplay video where someone has mechanical damage. In previous versions it was inevitable to have a wonky car at the end of the race. The visual effects like breaking carbon fiber and holes in the car are very impressive but it’s missing the almighty crunches and visceral feeling crashes. Also the camera shaking is non-existent which also contributes to weak feeling crashes. Is it because of Ferrari? Because honestly it’s not worth binning the amazing damage for them. Atm grid autosport has way better damage on the switch and mobile versions.

2 pointsI absolutely hate this asinine reason to dislike something because of an optional feature. Don't use it. Problem solved. Next you'll tell me that you can't enjoy the game because someone else played it on an easier difficulty. As to liveries, me personally, I couldn't really care less. So when the forum is full of pages of posts about liveries I just moan and scroll past them. That being said, a lot of the default liveries are quite boring and/or ugly. A lot of them I end up just going for plain white/black/red.

2 pointsdo you think asking for a earlier release date is a good idea when the last game was a mess, totally bugged and so far way from reality that its hard to call it a official f1 game?
-
2 pointsI might agree to some extent, but the big problem is that the DLC cars cant be modded. So we're stuck with the garbage liveries they provide. For example, until now I had absolutely no interest in the Focus 07 because of the terrible liveries it had.

2 pointsWhat I mean is after ping ponging off walls for 10 laps. All reviews I’ve seen have stated the damage downgrade. You can’t even have proper rolls anymore! Let’s hope there is a release patch but I’m not holding my horses.

1 pointI was just thinking.... You don't really seem to be playing the game very much so for the £65 you could probably have bought a digital camera and gone outside to take pics of real trees and real streets with real lighting 😋. Because most points seem to have been pretty much covered I think the graphics thing has probably run it's course so c'mon man, get playing 'properly' and tell us about the gameplay/longevity side of things. I want to know if it's still worth playing after 10-15 hours or if it's as grindy/boring as people are starting to say.

1 pointWho is going to test online unless they make it compatible with the previous year's game? It's difficult enough getting 300 randomers to stay in the same lobby for more than a nanosecond because FOMO (or "Sorry, you're not a winner")....I guess.

1 pointGRID 2019 has improved a lot. Without help it is very realistic. A CM game. Played in the most serious way, it is a very realistic game.

1 pointI don't kno wabout thast as I don't think the earlier games had too many I thought F1 2010-2012 were al pretty clean I think but then all of those were released September time around the same time as Fifa. So I think more time definitely helps lead towards a better product but you have to be patient and wait for it. They started moving towards releasing the games earlier in the season around I believe 2015 when they finally moved to the newer consoles and since then it's been effectively one problem after another. TBH the closest at least for me they've came to making a solid game is really F1 2017 although 18 isn't too bad as I think the interviews and rule changes were nice additions as are the driver changes they've given us this year. For me the reason why the driver system is a bit skewed I think is because of the games contract system because there are so many potential windows you can move in. The ideas are there but they've just been poorly executed because I believe they've not really had the time to tweak them and get them right.

1 pointI don't think it really matters; later during the season still plenty of bugs so why not earlier, the outcome will be the same.

1 pointSorry, lovers of left picture , but on the right we can see volume and even pattern, while on the left side are empty plane textures Also shadows are absolutely black

1 pointEvery time we get close to a new F1 game, it seems that those people who want more features or something that could harm the development suddenly appear from the shadows. I'm not saying what you want is wrong because we can all suggest whatever we want. I'd like to just say, that maybe it'd be better for just one year to tell Codemasters to make a decent base game, and after that add content 🙂 It could benefit us all, you know?

1 pointThere’s a video on youtube showing the 206 in action, it has the silver Clarion (2002) livery. If you type “Dirt Rally 2 206” you will find it, it was posted 2 days ago. Someone has obviously managed to get hold of it early just like with most the dlc that has been released so far.

1 pointSome minor stuff - skirmish needs a map, when there is few PPL on, it takes time to find anybody ontrack - the banner above cars - why not make players name bigger fonts So you could actually read them- it would be a nice option to see where everybody is placed on the grid, also add nation flag there at the expense of the smaller banner

1 pointI am very complicated person :) I dont like Circuit Racing (like Nikki Lauda said once only idiots drive in ciclre :) ), only exception is Gran Turismo, its a game serial i grow up with, and i bought GT Sport more in nostalgic reason. Second it looks to Arcadey, almost NFS with that rewind function.. maybe its just me, i grow up that.. it doesn't appeal me in real life, you like your things, so You modify them so they make you more comfortable? i like to be creative, to make it more personal, its something that you spend time with, i have Career Modes with 200+ hours, with that time you get bored, you want to change something to make the thrill when you drive again, and there is alway resembling of iconic liveries that ties with history that you wanna in some way expirient yourself. We on Console cant help our self with modding, and to be honest, Liveries in DR 2.0 arent the best, its a big step back from Dirt Rally 1.0 in livery aspect..

1 pointwow awesome picture I had forgotten the damage model in Grid 1 , why didnt they just remaster Grid 1 , you have to wonder at some decsions made these days. EVERYONE loved the first grid , ok reboot it , no problem with that , but dont water it down .

1 pointI like to line up my own shoulders with the driver ingame but its not always possible. Could you add so its possible to tweak the back/forward/up/down a bit more? Im doing Audi GrB atm and that one is off, it gets too high at the lowest. cv1 if that matters but it shouldnt.

1 pointCopied from v1.8's thread: Please fix or provide an option to reduce the extreme image contrast, resulting in almost constant over-exposure in cockpit and extreme scene brightness fluctuations. To reproduce: get in any car, any stage in Sweden with heavy snow weather, lean forward against the windshield then back, notice the huge brightness change and how, when sitting back, the outside is way too bright (over-exposed). Sweden under heavy snow is simply unplayable in VR, I barely see anything past a few meters, I had to halt my career because of this.

1 pointAudio bug The car sound cut out in most races. It seems to be working fine in Dirt Fish map, but when i try to race in any other stage the car is muted. Tires, pacenotes, environment seems ok. What platform you're playing on (for PC also state Steam or Oculus). PC, Steam What your PC setup/build is like (graphics card, processor etc.). GTX 1050, I7-7700HQ, 16Gb RAM, Windows 10 1803 Whether you're a Standard or Deluxe user (doesn't apply to Oculus). Deluxe Whether or not you have any non-standard peripherals connected, like steering wheels, gaming mice etc. Logitech G29 (does it count as non-standard?)

1 pointWould be nice to get an explanation why they are not considering implementing this feature.
