4 pointsThanks everyone for their suggestions so far - I'm putting together an official doc for this so keep 'em coming 🙂

3 pointsThanks for the response, Chris. Is there a chance you would be sharing this doc with us and outline the "Known Issues" with their status, and a "We're looking at" or "To be addressed" list? If people were to see that their concerns are being looked at or evaluated it may make them feel better about having those concerns.. especially when the game plays so good!

2 pointsThis is unbelievable... I played the game at a friend's house who has a ver small setup. Just made a race, it looked decent. But wanted to try it at home. I recently had the chance since I got the normal edition (thank god. My friend went Ultimate BTW). OH MY GOD... never seen a downgrade as huge as this in my life. These are PS3 graphics people, like seriously. I'm not even a graphic guy, but this looks atrocious. The reflections on my Aston Martin in Havana were like 10 fps. It was really painful to watch. And then, blur everywhere. To the point that player cards at the start of the race are barely visible. The game can't even seem to maintain solid 30 fps. There are buzzsaw borders everywhere, look at the damn buildings in Silverstone for godsake! I'm really mad, yes. I was really looking forward to this game and I'm really feeling insulted and scammed. This is in no way, the same game you were showing all this time. It is really last gen graphics in 1080p, I don't think any other 30 fps racing game in PS4 looks as bad as this one. This is really shameful. I always supported you guys as you made some amazing games in the past, but I really can't look past this (the game have other problems, but this topic is about one particular issue). I felt like I bought a terrible handled port, and I payed full price for it. On top of that, I went digital, so there's no chance of a refund whatsoever. I really hope this can be fixed somehow, but I doubt it. Still I wanted to make this topic for other people to be aware, and for you, the devs, to be aware about this, about a single customer that is really, really disappointed for the abysmal port released for base consoles. The game got treated like if it was a gen behind, at the very least.

2 pointsAhahahaha, this is hilarious! 😂😂 This is such a failure. And it's coming from the IGN channel! They must have not gotten the cheque on time. 😂

2 pointsWhile the game lacks a lot of things, there are 2 major things that need to be addressed IMO: 1. career race length Without the option to run longer races in singleplayer, career is not that fun. Why did you think that the race should consist of TWO laps, on a circuit with lap time around 1 minute? I hated when Project Cars 2 forced me to run 2h races in career, but 2 minute races are just as bad. You don't even have time to learn the track, chase the bots or just have fun, it's over after just few turns. This is one of the worst design decisions that you took when working on singleplayer aspect of the game. Please, give us the option to set the number of laps manually. We don't even need better rewards for longer races. 2. weekly challenges This one will make or break this game IMO. The reason why Grid 2 and Grid Autosport still had active players after so many years, was this. I had a blast when trying to beat my friends in time attacks or other events in weekly challenges, and doing those weeklys gave me nice XP/Money bonus. This NEEDS to come back, with working ghostcars and full leaderboards. I just hope you'll support this game better than you supported Autosport. I can live with nonexistant car damage model, half functional livery editor, and the worst replay model of all GRID games... but if you could work on those too, that would be very nice 🙂

2 pointsInteresting track. I despise it for road racing, but love the RX layout! Keep hoping we can take R-GT cars to the RX tracks at some point!

2 pointsAI is inconsistent. The drive well in some tracks and very slow in others. Also, need something more difficult than “very hard”

1 pointAs I said earlier GRID2 was amazing game but wrongly advertised. My thougths are Codemasters should change all its management before its too late. Because all last fails are on their responsibility. They absolutely don't understand needs of audience. GRID2 - misadvertised, Motorstorm - unreleased, GRID - poorly designed. I hope this is not the end of Codemasters...

1 pointWell there’s a reason people make threads about it everywhere. It’s the same reason crash compilation videos get millions of views. People like crashes and when they happen people want them to be spectacular.
-
1 pointSo far what I've heard is the grid 2019 is not like the old one. They took away the crash mechanics and feeling when the car land back to the asphalt giving that first person effect of shaking around. I guess more tracks and cars will come in a future update and HOPE they add back those missing features thats what make the first grid so AWESOME!!
-
1 pointYeah agreed in general of course! I just do not get it why it is so important for people to have detailed damage in _racing_ games. (would also prefer it if they did have, I just don't get it why it is so important, causing people to create so many threads everywhere just for this).

1 pointI am getting my marks at the track and now enjoying it much more. Also the track looks beautiful in sunset conditions. Here some footage in a little bit Larsson style of driving, just in case @PJTierney needs something for the weekly roadbook. 😛

1 pointThe "Find matches" screen should have some kind of indicator that the game is still.... working, GRID 2 had a spinning thing in the corner, in GRID 2019 there's a bit of smoke in the background but it goes away after a few seconds and doesn't come back.
-
1 pointYeah agree...to be clear i’m Not defending Grid or say that is a legit sim game,i’m only Saying that i’m pretty disappointed.they hyped it as a sim friendly game...but with the camera issue i’m Not even able to understand if it’s enjoyable or not..that’s all.

1 pointSteering sensitivity - 50 % (same as default) Steering linearity - 0 (default is 4). At 0, steering matches input and it feels more responsive. Steering deadzone - 10% (default is 20%) I'm not yet sure about the traction control and stability assists. I tried a few different values, but right now I prefer to have them completely off and only play with ABS at 3.

1 pointdo you think asking for a earlier release date is a good idea when the last game was a mess, totally bugged and so far way from reality that its hard to call it a official f1 game?
-
1 pointI think this is where the F1 and WRC games (and to a lesser extent Grid) do better than DR2—they give you a feeling being part of something bigger than just you and a car. It makes things feel more meaningful when failure doesn't just mean a big repair bill, but loss of reputation, worsening relationships with your team, etc. It's a good extrinsic motivation. I know DR2 has this to some extent with Clubs, but that relies on community support to work, and it lacks the formal team aspect. Something wholly self-contained within the game would be a big improvement, imo.

1 pointA feature to customize the race length of career mode races! We dont even need to get more rewards, we just want to race a bit longer 🙂

1 pointHi All, We are still looking into this issue. We'll post an update as soon as we have any more info. Thanks.

1 point@Hoo anything? It is pretty ridiculous. For example, racing in my F1 2019 League, turn 14 on Japan. FFB drop to 0. Maybe you missed it, but here is the info you requested: What platform you are on (including pro or base version if on PS4) Standard PS4. What make and model of wheel you are using, plus any pedals and other controllers you might have connected T300 with standard dual pedals, Sony wireless headphones. What firmware your wheel is on (and what driver version you are using if on PC) Latest firmware: 29 What control scheme you are using (preset or custom) Custom What advanced steering wheel settings you are using , Custom What game modes you are playing when noticing these issues. Please also check to see if this occurs in Time Trial too as this is the simplest test bed for checking handling issues. FFB is really bad in League mode. FFB feels best in time trial mode, huge difference compared to League mode.

1 pointOnly up to a point. With 100KG+ fuel, it's basically impossible not to spin whilst going flat out, no matter the setup. Only after about 20 laps does the lower fuel load make the car more forward-balanced enough and going full throttle becomes easier. But that's besides the point. It doesn't even exist in reality, no reason for it to be so severe in-game.

1 point@ChrisGrovesMCM How about an explanation why so less content (locations) and why no drift mode anymore ? 🙂
