5 pointsThe title says it all 😉 post photos and videos from your favourite GRID races, achievements and moments, to show off your style and maybe even feature on GRID socials! Make good use of the Replay options and multiple camera angles to nail that perfect shot 🙂 We're kicking it off by showcasing a couple of our faves so far from @torque99uk 📸

2 points2 months passed, no answer, so i guess this issue won't be fixed too. F1 2019 is a mess, quite disappointing if we consider their side of the story that they apparently have been working for 2 years on this game. So many bugs, glitches, inconsistencies, wrong performances and or simply questionable design choices that destroy a game that could have been much better. Most issues fall on deaf ears. They cherry pick bugs / glitches / issues and only fix those that are stopping the game from working out of the box. Meanwhile, issues such as lighting, missing online and singleplayer features, wrong performance values for cars/teams/drivers, audiovisuals and or the unbalanced ffb / wheel and pad performance etc. have been cast aside. Guess they are working on the Ps5 / Xbox Scarlet version of F1 already and are creating a new game engine, whilst F1 2020 very likely will be a bland copy&paste product of F1 2019 with altered values and small "new" features that could have easily been implemented in F1 2019 already. There is no hope. #MakeF1GamesGreatAgain #VoteWithYourWallet

2 pointsI literally bought OG Grid on the PC a few days ago and I'm not disappointed, for the most part, there's a few flaws in the game, but it's overall a great experience, rubberbanding, grid positions being a borky, a few cars being exclusive unavailable to buy in your own team, and the fact it's 2008 so it has a brown filter and desaturated sucks (that's easy enough to fix by editing the xml files and adding ReShade to increase color) but that's all I have to complain about after playing this game for a couple days, and I'm done with the first 2 tiers in career and won Le Mans in lmp1, so I've played quite a lot. and I'll attribute crashes and graphical issues due to my system being so new (R5 2600/ GTX 1660 Ti) rather than the game's fault. I figured official servers were down due to it's age, and it's a little disappointing to not be able to enjoy the DLC, but I really enjoy the game, even for it's age 8.75/10 Now about a Remaster... If they were to remaster it, obviously rework it for newer systems, remove the 2008 brown filter, and add cars that were around in 2008, perhaps add some newer ideas like classic touring in DLC or somewhat separated from base career, but keep the base game almost identical. perhaps add new tracks again from 2008, I'm one of those people that enjoy keeping it right around when the game came out (not necessarily lore specific) perhaps even adding more drivers on track on Le mans to make it feel more lifelike (just making all the drivers that you face in each class would be good enough). perhaps add a classic racing series right around 1969 featuring Japan, USA, and Europe in their own sub series, a 64-bit version, perhaps a community race type. also there is one thing from Grid 2 that would be really cool. the one where it'll randomly make the track up as you go along, perhaps in new city locations (London, Chicago, New York), just some ideas for not only making the old game feel similar but fresh, and give fans a good mix of both new and old.

2 pointsbut is @JZStudios Really a fan? I think you need to change that to 39,999 @PJTierney 😉

2 pointsI fail to see what the problem is here. If you go into private match you can add or remove AI. So If CM add a PUBLIC CUSTOM lobby, surely the option for AI would be there. Its a CUSTOM lobby after all. But for all PUBLIC playlist like lobbies, like in the current quick match the AI need to go.

2 pointsFix the transition issue when starting a qualifying lap, jarring. Stop the looping of the announcers when you exit the qualifying lap. Need a setting to control race length in career mode. Extras: Career mode has no personality, bland & is a significant step back. Probably can't fix it now but hopefully next time you guys take more inspiration from your F1 games and first 2 Grid games.

2 pointsPublic custom lobbies, and Online rammer flashback fest lobbies as were on Grid 1, 2 and GAS. With a lobby browser like Grid 1 and GAS. (Grid 1 minus the flashbacks as that was a proper game, also it had full damage all the time and people still loved the game to death) I know the world is full of snow flakes these days, and that's why we have and why we will never see the removal of flashbacks. But full damage adds to the excitement. Good or bad. The risk of killing your car. Its like driving an 80's hot hatch down a B road at speed. Its exciting as there are no computers to save you. If you cant control the car your gonna crash. This era of flashbacks and visual damage and terminal damage that's well, not terminal is for lack of a better phrase...a bit namby pamby. Whats wrong with having to sit the rest of the race out if you wrecked your car? I know it sucks when its you that wrecks but It gives you an incentive to not wreck your car the next time. It makes people drive better, or they will sit out. Plus it looked great to see your car explode and parts flying off in slow-mo. It made Grid 1 awesome. A hardcore mode wont suffice as it just splits the player base. It needs to be game wide all the time. Forced, not just an option. It would only improve the credibility of this game as a proper racer. Thats my opinion any way. 😜

2 pointsTotally agreed with this. If there is to be any improvement with regards to handling, David Greco needs to do some serious research by using a real-life up to date F1 simulator. The last time I checked, F1 or F2 cars don't have traction control when they are straightened up at very low speeds. This occurs while the traction control is turned off in the game.

2 pointsKimi R also mentioned it, yes, he was on the pad, but, I am sure his reaction would add some color if he was in a proper rig. Gents, there is a lot of money in this game. A lot. Not only from Codemasters but a lot of effort and resources to develop this game for its ecosystem. With the rise of eSports, it’s becoming even larger with providing a platform for opportunities for the very engaged people reading and expressing their concerns on this forum. Codemasters took the deal to be the Official eSports F1 platform, but yet, they are making decisions not to support it indirectly. Wheel nerfing, t-cam, assets, and yadda yadda. We don’t know the terms of the deal, but it seems as though, they are trying to balance between a sim-platform and a platform to address the masses. Not everyone can afford a wheel, but it’s the eSports hopefuls and league racers are pulling our hair out and asking, why?!, really!?!, and are you kidding me!?! i believe codemasters are at a pivotal moment to either continue to support eSports or drop out for another developer to take over. Again, and I had mentioned this before on this forum and actually corresponded with Codemasters, CEO, Frank Sagnier, because the Rise of eSports, CM’s Sole F1 License Rights, Official F1 eSports Platform and the potential financial partnership/advertising ecosystem ...the current Seasonal buying business model doesn’t support the game. It needs to be a “subscription model” to financially continue to support this game. What I mean is, the games current resources will eventually taper off to focuses on the newest release. They virtually start over each and every release. They find new challenges each and every release. Then, and when they get finish addressing the major bug fixes, those resources get allocated to the newest release. As the eSports community demands more, Codemasters will either get dropped, or they would have to make major changes to continue to be a player that is serious to support it.

1 pointThought I'd bump this thread to include the items posted by @AlexSpartan316 in the Gossip thread. Specifically the ride height on the R5 Fabia... ...and the 208 RX car... ...both of which seem a bit too high.

1 pointI concur. I never agreed to this. I didn't validate my measurement in your statistics.

1 pointYikes. Just tried out the game and it looks terrible. Motion blur is horrendous (and I normally like motion blur) trees are just laughable (destroyerd like in DiRT series). Another dissapionting title from Codemasters after DiRT Rally 2.0 made my sell my steering wheel. They have no shame selling this game at full price with DLC's already planned. This year Codies lost all my goodwill. I won't purchase any CM title until they retire EGO and make a proper, content-rich game. Such a shame... @jesped you seem just as frustrated as I was when DR 2.0 dropped. DR 2.0 felt like it needed at least another 6 months in the oven. The tree issue goes as far as the first Dirt rally, and TAA is just as smeary as it was in february. EGO is on it's death bed.

1 pointDone, hope it will help. I think he is talking about a date, we know you said "soon" will be fixed, but you know, "soon" is too unespecific, for somebody "soon" could be one month, for another one 1 day, its so ambiguous. I know, people are not happy with anything...but you guys launch a game that was not finished, and you need to understand that some users are angry and they are in their right to be like that and they can´t be blamed about it, but every day that pass, people want to know about progress, or they think are getting cheated. I understand your side, and the point that you guys are not able to give a exact date because this is not something you can calculate exactly, and if you say a date and you dont acomplish the date you will be in more problems with us, but you guys need to understand something, EVERY day you pass without giving us news, fix, or progress, every day you lost players on your game base, and I think none of us want that. The numbers are already pretty bad, with a max peak of 1k people on PC on day launch and 500 peak average per day, and every day are getting worst, with a game life of one week and with same numbers than grid 2, a game of 2013 with 6 years, that for mayority is considered the worst of the saga behind the original grid and GAS. With all my respect, hope you guys will be consequent with the magnitude of the problem you are dealing with, I am not trying to be agressive or push more the things out of the way but I think the problem is pretty big when multi features of the game, where not finished. So if you cant give us info about the progress, then the company maybe has to spent some extra money on extra shifts to get the problem solved ASAP. I really dont know what is the solution the company has to take, and I know maybe you are not the person to tell they guy in charge to get extra shifts, contract extra people to solve the problems or whatever, but CM have to fix the problem ASAP or the game will die on their first month (Not trying to be tragic, as I said, numbers are there, and are not going to be better until you do something drastic before the end of this weekend as much late) I really hope you will have good news for us soon, again, with all my respect. And I know you are not resposible for the final product, and you are bored to get complains every day about the same things, but you have to understand that you are the link between your company and us, and we need to pass our demands and worries to somebody.

1 pointThey've also remove the analogue handbrake, "disable mouse UI", and a few others features that I think are very useful. And think about how long has it taken(is it gonna take) for them to bring these back, which should have been in the game since launch. Codemasters fixed a few features and implemented some bugs in DR2.0 comparing old games. hehe. Don't get me wrong, I do love the game. But codemasters should have focused more in terms of polishing the game and making it a much better experience instead of bring old contents from DR and sell them. I know they want to make money, but they've focused too much on making money.

1 pointHonestly, the career mode AI is full of ****. Did I really spend 60€ on this thing? Playing at elite level now and all the discussed differences have shown up to me. And it's not only rally mode where AI does not suffer at all from bad weather conditions, same bug is also present in RX mode. Only the cars in your group are affected by weather conditions. I'm a bad driver/player but the difference is sooo clear. The game has been out for over a month so this kind of issue should have been fixed long time ago. And how on earth is it even possible, was the game playtested at all before release?

1 pointWe all know there's a problem with the ffb, but posts like this are not going to solve the problem. Do you really expect they are going to answer a post like this ? This post is pretty arrogant and the only thing you do is attacking people. The devs who are looking for feedback in this forum are probably not even going to read post like this.

1 pointAre you Mesa, who gave the name to mesa drivers in Linux? You definetly deserve to be a game tester, you pic more issues in 1 hour than the whole influencers/press thingy since Dirt 4.
