1 pointI respect Codies trying to satisfy needs of hardcore racers. But there are also many arcade lovers, like me, who missed DIRT series so much! Is there any chance of returning that brilliant DIRT2/3 formula? Thanks.

1 pointIf you don't care about the bad graphics, why do you care about this thread? Go play the game.

1 pointMate... GRID is supposed to be "simcade" too. Are you trying to exclude any possible competition so there's an exclusive category for GRID itself where it is the best among nobody else? Forza Horizon 3 & 4 and NFS's are very comparable to GRID, even if they are Open World (which should make them more limited, but doesnt). "lol" This is a thread for discussing graphics, pal. Gameplay is way more subjective and debatable and it should require a whole different thread even more complex than this one, listing all sorts of details and subtleties. But regarding visuals, Driveclub, a 5 years old game, is way way superior to GRID. It looks like a whole generation superior. Same for NFS 2015, a 4 years old game that looks a whole generation superior to GRID too. Of course both Forza Horizon 3 and 4. Those on the more arcade side, even though people tend to ignore that Driveclub added a "Hardcore Handling" option that, along with setting all assists off made the game much more "simcade" and hard as hell. On the more simcade side, Forza, GT Sport and Project CARS 2 with all assists on 😄 and difficulty and AI aggresiveness matched to your liking. And F1 2018, F1 2019 and olders, whichever category you like them put in, look much better than GRID. GRID is a game that being in the middle of a lot of its competitors, totally fails to do better than any of them in every aspect. Being a closed track game instead of Open World, it doesn' feature any dynamic ToD day-to-night or dynamic weather like most of the mentioned above do. Far from bringing any innovative tech or features, it goes back to obsolete solutions like fake reflections or a bad TAA implementation with far too visible problems. The best looking thing in GRID are the cars, but it's not like they look any better than in any of the other games.

1 pointFord RS200 Turbo gauge's needle. The orientation of the 3D pivot of the turbo needle set wrong! The Needle is going under the gauge until 0.5 bar pressure. Check this animated gif : Please Codemasters, fix it.

1 pointHaving the option of no AI in Multiplayer - Quick Match has indeed been brought up plenty of times by the community, so rest assured I've logged it and discussed it with the team. 🙂

1 pointHi there 🙂 I've logged it for the team to look it. There's also no guaranteed that the issue you're experiencing is game-related - please check things like device drivers and device compatibility to make sure you're correctly set up, and contact your device manufacturer if your supported device isn't working correctly. But like I said, it's been logged to look at on our side as well 🙂

1 pointForgive the double post, but I just check the Loeb livery and that looks wrong as well:

1 pointFix the transition issue when starting a qualifying lap, jarring. Stop the looping of the announcers when you exit the qualifying lap. Need a setting to control race length in career mode. Extras: Career mode has no personality, bland & is a significant step back. Probably can't fix it now but hopefully next time you guys take more inspiration from your F1 games and first 2 Grid games.

1 pointWindows 10, Steam, Valve Index RTX 2080 Ti, i7-9700K, 32Gb RAM Deluxe, Steering wheel, H-shifter, sequential shifter, pedals, SFX-100 Motion platform Centering the VR position doesn't put me in the right position, it places me too low and a bit to the back. Seat adjustment height range isn't sufficient to fix it, so by trial and error I have to move my head to find the correct position. The center VR position isn't saved, I have to go to the process of finding the correct position after each restart (in the original DR the position was saved). After you've entered the car when you look sideways there's a strange black dot in the center of your VR vision. Although 1.9 improved the VR performance with SteamVR (Valve Index), there are still micro stutters while my GPU and CPU are nowhere near their limits. Performance seems hit and miss, sometimes I can run DR2 smooth with most settings in Ultra and high supersampling, other times I get microstutters with normal settings and no supersampling. I've tried many suggestions, but still can't pinpoint the cause. The original DR runs solid here with all settings to the max.

1 pointI actually enjoyed 2017 and 2018 as well, but that's the good thing about playing games is that we are all different and enjoy different aspects 🙂

1 pointWorst co-driver voice of CM's History and absolute not informative. As you said his talk is flat, boring and there is no direct connection to the given situation in his reaction. Just reading words after each other from the paper.... There are funny moments, for example when he's talking about the tyres and / or the next sevice at the end of a complete rally?! 😄 His voice has no emotions, before a left or right " 1 " corner not louder than every other pacenotes, useless... Sorry Phil, we know it's not your fault. Pleae give us Paul's voice back.
