My fear with this is that it'll only get minor bug fixes and the season pass content and then Codies will move on, like they usually do. I wish they'd revamp their games when they're received poorly. Look at titles like Driveclub, which launched in a very rough under developed state, it received a near complete overhaul, got tonnes of content and features and has become a legendary racing game. I'd suggest you do the early access model for future DiRT Rally and GRiD Autosport titles at least, so you get the community feedback before the game launches. I just want Codies to put more time into their games, cramming as many features in as possible. This game is so bare bones, it's as if you wrote a list of every feature from any previous games, then crossed almost everything off it! And don't hold so much back for season passes, it feels piecemealed

    - I finished the game. I think is very good, there are a lot of classes, lot of new cars to play with it, some tracks are really fun. But i would talk about some things that can be adressed and changed to be a better game. I will mix the good and the not so good (let me put that way). - Career: 1- It should have more events or at least more well split between classes. Like the "Tuner" you only have 2 events with the World Time Attack class and the cars are super expensive. 2- The payouts should be a little better. 3- It's repetitive in a not good way, it's not envolving like GRID 1 or 2. 4- The progression is good, although some of the acolades i think they are bugged right now and you can't unlock some of the liveries. 5- No sponsors deals on the cars like GRID 1 and 2. -Customization: 1- It's good to have a lot of liveries but it's missing not having different kinds of paint for all liveries like: matte, gloss, pearlescent, chrome, carbon (why not?), whatever you guys can put in the game is welcome. Some liveries are gloss only, or chrome only and the secondary options are gloss you can't match. It's unfortunatelly. It's a minimal problem but it's unfortunatelly. 2- Missing those wheels from GRID 2. Ok, maybe some manufactures don't allowed you to change and that's ok, but still. 3- Change the wheel colour of some cars like the Porsche 917/30 for example. You can match with a custom livery because it's always blue. 4- Noticed that at least on the Plymouth Cuda AAR the liveries on the splitter are misaglined. 5- Some cars you can change the liveries at all like the Nissan S13, S15 and R32. - Physics: - I play the game on PC with a XBox One controller. Despite like the game the way it is, i really like the older titles more in terms of fun driving. Some cars feels like that has no grip when accelerating especially on 3rd gear getting out of corners. Maybe for wheel users this is not a huge problems but for controller and keyboard users i see a little bit more of a problem on the precision. It feels like you have to configure a TC, ABS, steering linearity and all those advanced setting diferently for each car to get most out of it and that's a lit bit of a pain. Some cars are great to drive like the GTE cars or the Ferrari 512 BB LM is just a dream and you can go on and on. But others like the Muscles, or the Super Tourers are just not fun to drive. Please don't get me wrong i don't want that all cars be the same or have all the grip but they be fun to drive. The Porsche 935 is too light at the front at high speeds, the Ford GT is too light compared to the Ferrari 330, the Porsche 917 has too much oversteer compared to the Mclaren M8D... - Multiplayer: - I think people already said enough about this topic, but here we go: we should be able to host our own lobbies, with our own rules, be able to choose AI or not. - Leaderboard: - People was talking about the possibility of a cross plattaform times. Would be cool. Another neat feature would be a filter for controller, keyboard, wheel users and all mixed up of course. - Wishes: - Most of them i already post as things that can be changed but here 2 more: 1- GT3 class. Could be added inside on the invitational class. 2- At least one Lamborghini. Camon! There is no one! (XD)

Hi I play timetrial like a lonely pony . there are so many missed features but I love the game so please could you address some of them . 1. Where is ghost cars from top laps ? 2. Menu for checking leaderboards is annoying. If I go back after seeing a time I have to search through all tracks and class types again . 3. There should be a timetrial section already setup which saves my best time so I’m not spending more minutes reaching my best time to then spend more time trying to beat it . 4. On global leaderboards there should be a menu system like R1 L1 for cycling through all stages in each class . So I can see what stages need my WR . 5. Small detail, terminals and flashbacks should invalidate lap time for the particular lap. 6.in timetrial there should be the option to display track top times . So I can see how much I’m off per section. 7. Gear changes are ridiculously sluggish. 8. I hate comparing games but the last best racing title in this genre is driveclub maybe have a look at their setup for timetrial . 9. I know that timetrial isn’t important to you guys , but it’s what people turn to when they are bored of campaigning. Having an active and well structured world leaderboard gives us something to work for . Evil nemesis ghosts eeking .005 , making one botched gear change and having the top ghost pull a half car in front is what it’s all about for me

man, to say that the game is a simulator is like saying that the chickens fly. Bolukbasi he will have had a real simulator at his disposal and at least 2 weeks if not more than physical training and why not even psychological to get where he arrived today. The esport was just a springboard. the rest will have done with the help of the real Formula Renault team. but I can assure you that the game is not at all similar to reality just a springboard. good luck to him 🙂

Change sponsors, choose which ones I use on my cars (even if they don't have specific objectives to them, making the changes just visual) Set the same livery pattern to all my cars at once Ability to change the finish of the colors (glossy, metallic, matte etc.) Change the color of the wheels

One big improvement from previous Grid games: 16 players online lobbies - this is great, but lets hope online wont be deserted in few weeks/months. From watching MP videos, there is few things that i wish you would improve: - add custom lobbies - only qiuck match option is bad choice, i wish we had option to join different public playing lists divided by car class like it is in GAS, or Even better like separate Tc, GT, muscle, touge, etc lists. - add text chat obviously - add spectate in lobby - option to remove AI - remove enemy system from impacting Real online players (it should be single Player feature only) - i could clearly see PPL online getting "enemy" tag after Little touch. in future full (i hope) lobbies this will only motivate some PPL to ram eachother. - whats up with the permament mirror no matter what camera view we use? - havent see it in options if we can enable it. If not please add it. You added it in GAS post release after community backslsh, lets not copy that error 🙂 - add lobby players list before start of the race. Also After the race, the score list of players should be a little smaller so all 16 positions would fit on one screen without the need to scroll it down to see last 3 positions.

Feedback and reports from a PC perspective. Multiplayer Ranked playlists Increased damage effects Impact ratings Skill ratings 3 - 5 events that are voted for by the players in the lobby (vote 1st event, vote 2nd event.. so on.) 1 hot lap qualifying for each event No AI No flashbacks Car tuning before each event/qualifying Lobby browser Rather than a 'private' custom game, you can create a 'public' custom game. People can join as they wish. Or password protect. Party up with friends Car tuning before each race (this should be in anyway) Driver stats like previous games (wins, races, podium finishes, miles driven etc..) Instant flashback needs a rework! Or just removed. It's too easy for griefers to reset and do it all over again. Add an actual demolition derby.. and drifting.. (but this may be planned as future content). Overall the multiplayer UI needs improving. Text chat! General Force Feedback on an Xbox One controller is way too weak. Very hard to tell when your car is stepping out. Even with all settings to max. More advanced car customization (see GRID 2) Driver stats (see above) Visual quality; The driver cards, accolades and banners are very hard to see on the start race intro. Everything is very blurry and out of focus. Needs improving. Motion blur and DOF needs to be an option in the menu (to turn off) See bugs for a large issue.. Community Update the https://www.reddit.com/r/gridgame/ subreddit - the Mod(s?) there no longer work for CM. Engage more with the community on other channels. Post updates on these channels about known issues and common questions/feedback from the community. Just engage with us and let us know if you're working on anything or if you're actually reading! Create an official Discord. In the meantime I've created a community one; Bugs Multiplayer Players seemingly at random get to jump the start timer on the line Host migration causes severe lag (for the host) even on a 70/30 fibre connection Time attack events - when joining in progress, your car is on the starting grid. When it's your turn you get placed on the start line, stationary, with the complete inability to engage gears. It just revs on the spot like it would on the starting grid. Technical Large amount of issues with the game detecting monitors and monitor settings Monitors are identified incorrectly. I have 3 monitors, one is a 1440p gsync 165hz monitor. The game incorrectly reports the other two monitors as 165hz 1440p, but the real monitor only reports 1080p. Thread here about this; As mentioned in the thread I can force the settings to be available by modifying the xml files, but this causes strange visual bugs. May also be related - when capturing game footage using OBS or Streamlabs, it produces a really strange black flickering every second (on game capture, not for my view). Mouse cursor is constantly on screen even when using a controller Visual quality in general seems lacking - text is not clear, cars in menu seem washed out and blurry.. this may be related to the above For my PC specs please see above linked post - DxDiag information is attached.

One single thing! Add custom public lobbies and lobbies list and I can live with whatever comes in the way after... 🤐

The Multiplayer menu needs to be modified for players to be able to see the list of created "Private" lobbies ontop of "Quick Match", which is a random playlist.

Uh oh. You saw a classic Impreza with wide arches and called it a 22B, didn’t you? This is a common mix up, read on for enlightenment… OK smart arse, if it’s not a 22B, then what is it? Prodrive used "S" prefixed numbers to designate the various generations of Impreza World Rally Car they built. The 1997-1999 World Rally Car was the S5 and they continued from there. The full list per year is: WRC97/WRC98/WRC99 - Impreza S5 WRC (the '98 and '99 cars had some improvements over their predecessors, but Prodrive retained the same S5 designation for all three years) WRC2000 - Impreza S6 WRC (also known as the P2000) WRC2001 - Impreza S7 WRC WRC2002 - Impreza S8 WRC WRC2003 - Impreza S9 WRC WRC2004 - Impreza S10 WRC WRC2005 - Impreza S11 WRC WRC2006 - Impreza S12 WRC WRC2007 - Impreza S12b WRC WRC2008 - Impreza S14 WRC So, depending on the particular year of "classic" shape Impreza you are looking at, it’s either an S5 Impreza WRC or S6 Impreza WRC. Got it. Got any more useless Prodrive/Impreza naming facts? Prodrive also used a similar system for their Group N cars, except these are identified by an "N" prefix, not an "S". The only exception to the rule is the 2007 Impreza WRC, which was identified as the S12b WRC (rather than S13 as you would expect). The Japanese are a superstitious bunch and so Prodrive avoided the number with their car designation! There is also an interesting anomaly late in the history of SWRT as, when the S14 wasn't ready in time, they put an S14 engine into an S12b chassis: that car (KT57 SRT) became a one off S12c. That’s all great, but where does the 22B fit in? The 22B was a road car released in 1998 and designed to emulate the look of the 1997/1998 Impreza World Rally Car. The two door, wide arch, Impreza World Rally Cars were on stages for well over a year before the 22B hit showrooms and its name is actually homage to the rally car: "22B" is hexdecimal for "555". There is a lot of confusion between the 22B and the World Rally Cars of the era. This is compounded by the fact that there are a huge number of online articles about the 22B that contain incorrect information. Officially there were 424 22B's (400 for the JDM, 24 for export). Of the 24 export cars, 16 were for the UK, 5 for Australia and 3 were prototypes. As with a lot of Subaru limited edition runs though, some of the numbers are a little hazy. It was originally stated that there were three #000 prototype cars (which were given to Colin McRae, Nicky Grist and David Lapworth), however a #000 was recently identified in the STI Mitaka showroom, which implies there were four #000 cars (I have subsequently read that David Lapworth actually got #400, but that's not been verified). But they look pretty similar. How can you be so sure that’s not a privateer with a 22B on the rally stage? Well first up – and as mentioned above – the 22B was a limited edition road car, so only a loon would risk bending one on a rally stage. Critically though, the 22B was fitted with a 2.2L engine: WRC regulations of the era limited turbo cars to 2.0L so, by its very nature, the 22B couldn't be a rally car. Incidentally, although they look similar, the S5 WRC and 22B have different panels. If you look at the two side-by-side you can see it, it's most noticeable around the front end and rear arches.

Be great if they could get the club point system working, defeats the purpose of a championship if we can't accumulate results. Thought they'd have it fixed by now, being a major part of the game.

Little suggestion from me. As you most probably will make some patches for this game, could you write Patch notes like DiRT team does with 'DiRT Rally 2.0'? It would be easier to follow your progres.

since this thread has been revived, i'll mention something here that i mentioned in another thread previously: if they give people the option in the game to select a lower difficulty once you've passed that level, i think it will help a lot with people's frustration with the AI. so, for example, if you get to elite, let people select clubman, open, etc. if they want. if you've reached masters - the highest level - let people select any of the previous four difficulty levels to race their AI championships at. yes, i know you can just do a custom championship but you don't earn any credits for those. and yeah i know you can just abandon a championship enough time to get dropped down a level but it's an annoyance to have to keep abandoning championships. seems like a solution that should be relatively easy to implement.

@jesped The Switch port of GAS is really good one. It looks brilliant. It even has a ~60fps mode, which, ironically, lowers shadows and crowd quality 😂. I bet base PS4 would take that compromise here as well. Coupled with the better driving model and much, much more content and tracks, the Switch port is a much more value for money. 👍 How sad is that?

In a friendly manner, redo the whole game. This feels like a demo for a mobile game. The Menu is a mess, we have no settings for MP or SP. Where is drift / drag / hillclimb / crash derby ? The Car selection is nothing less then a joke. Sorry but it looks so obvious that a big amount got cut out to resell as dlc / ultimate edition content. The Ai needs a complete overhaul / rework. On some tracks it just drives like a rocket and on other tracks it's like racing against people that barely find the pedals in their cars. Graphics are washed out and look like the end of xbox 360 / ps3 era even on max PC settings. Cars have weird specs. A ferrari going 240 while a skyline drives 150 in 2nd gear going up to 330 top speed in less then 10 seconds. Sorry but my honest feedback. Redo the game. It's to clear that your main focus is on F1 and the pro series.

Multiplayer needs a serious re-design. Would much prefer quick lobbies of chosen car class and private lobbies. A similar format to GAS would be great personally. And what is with the AI in multilayer? Options not to have lobbies by class, and AI in online make me wonder just how little faith codies had in this game to have any sort of decent player base, but I can't help but think it's going to die out unless these issues are fixed. I remember GAS, the NWR guys, the crazy Scottish bloke, Flukey and his Mrs, team rivalries that made we want to get on everyday on put points on the board. Good old days!

Drat! I was beaten AGAIN! First on the Havana thread, second here. Well, I need to increase my pace Allow us to change our sponsors, even if only some are available for some liveries (Like No Fear for Motorsport, or ADVAN for JDM) Bringing back drifting for FREE with free cars dedicated to the mode would bring back a majority of the community.
