2 pointsI am watching F1 Mexico race at this moment, and you see clearly that the Red Light is only blinking when they are harvesting the ERS for example This could be so important in race battles in the 2019 game, but in the game they don't work correctly. Codemasters, can you please have a look at this in the 2019 game?

1 pointHy everyone, So I just got the Legendary Edition of F1 2019. Besides that the DX12 game is crashing (maybe because the Nvidia Driver 430.86) and DX11 game is laggy and had a huge amount of FPS drops this can be a great game. But! On my first manual start I experienced a very very bad start because of the clutch. I remember that in F1 2018 if I set the clutch button to the Gear Up button it was automatically gear up to 1st position, hold it and when I released it the car starts to moving. Now with F1 2019 even if I set the clutch to any other button on my Logitech G29 wheel I can only shift up to 1 when the red ligths are off and I released the clutch button. So I will have nearly 1 second delay at the start because I cannot shift up to 1 and hold it with the clutch button just like in F1 2018. This is really frustrating issue and anyone else noticed this? Or is just me?

1 pointHey all 🙂 Following the first 'hotfix' earlier this week, the first full patch for GRID is now being finalised for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Included in the changes coming in this patch are a number of community-reported topics that the GRID have prioritised and acted on, to further improve your experience with the game. Version 1.1 is expected to roll out from the beginning of next week (W.C 28/10/2019) - keep on eye on the GRID social channels and the Forums, where we'll let you know when this process begins. In the meantime, we've compiled the patch notes for 1.1, which you can check out below. This patch consists of visual improvements and some fixes, including: General Resolved multiple general text issues Fixed issue of screen cutting to black after selecting a vehicle from the relevant screen Volume of in-race commentary is now reduced at the startline Fixed several public PC crashes PC: cursors will now disappear when using a controller or wheel Fixed the 'softlock' state during the auto-save screen if players switch profile during Free Play Multiplayer Quick Match: all players can now experience terminal damage in races Fixed issue in multiplayer for human players starting slower than AI drivers in Time Attack Private Match: fixed issue for informing a player that they are the new lobby host Fixed issue stopping more than 6 players being able to get into a Quick Match session Fixed issue where players can become desynced from each other Resolved issue of crashes when players quit out of Spectate after re-joining a session Fixed issues causing crashes when finishing a Multiplayer event Gameplay Fixed issue of race not starting if rolling start is enabled and the player has entered into a Hot Lap Qualifying session before hand Fixed the 'out of world' issue on the Okutama Sprint routes Flashback: cars will no longer veer left or right immediately after using a Flashback following a collision Fixed flickering during gameplay with ultra-settings and 4K display Fixed Flashback issue altering a player's fastest lap time Fixed Accolades issue where you could only complete certain Milestones in a single race

1 pointThere is no difficulty clocking up 40,000km i would rather they make it complete the whole career on hard or something worth putting the time into, Threads like this always get the trolls like you that have no clue what they are on about people here are not asking to make a trophy easy it's about making a trophy reasonable.

1 pointI hope there are Season 5 and 6 for Dirt Rally 2.0 with new rallies and new rally cars I would like that better than a Dirt Rally 3
-
1 pointAK, this isn't about whether or not people choose to play a game only for its trophies. I'd personally be fine with Codies games not having trophies, but since they do, it's fair to question the quality of a trophy list just like you might do with any actual in-game content. Trophies can improve the experience by encouraging you to try things in a game you normally wouldn't, or by challenging you to get better. There is no meaning to a trophy that just has you grinding, so the criticism is justified.

1 pointCross platform cross-play would improve the online population. I don't see how at this point, as the game takes advantage of system friends to join instead of an in game system, but it would help raise the population numbers for random multiplayer and leaderboards at least. With open lobbies, crossplay would dramatically improve in game play.

1 pointThe big net behind the goal is for safety (and sometimes the convenience of not having to travell 300m to get a ball 😄 ) For those who have no idea what's going on: Anyway, back to DiRT for a moment, here's some wild VR from Reddit:

1 pointDid I Lost my result or not? I've just finished the Qualifier at North Fork Pass ranked 288 as you can see above: then Dirt Rally 2.0 crashed to desktop ( i sent report to you), after this happened, i see green --:--:-- instead of my time and i can't compete the stage anymore! Where's my result? Is DR World Championship has been ended up for me because of your fault?
-
1 pointI guess another interesting question for Codemasters to plan for the future of Dirt is: ‘would you pay for more DLC or prefer a new Dirt Rally 3/Dirt 5 game?’ I personally prefer ten years of DLC.

1 pointCustomization: Suit, cap and car with your name and nationality flag. Choose helmet manufacturer (Arai, Bell, Schuberth, Stilo) Edit helmet parts (visor, wings, transparency) Edit cap (straight brim or curved brim) Cutscenes: Add cutscenes to your driver. (Beginning and end of events) Add cutscenes with your teammate or team leader. Add cutscenes outside the car. (There is life in Paddock and Boxes) Modify the camera style of the interview by showing your driver instead of the reporter. (Similar to FIFA) Modify location of interviews. (Interviews should take place at Paddock's playpen or press conference) Interviews must take place at the end of all races. Social networks: Create a Fan Network (Similar to NBA 2k)

1 pointSpeaking of ERS, irl the Red Backlight does start blinking at a faster rate when the car is in harvest mode, i never saw that in any of CM's V6T Hybrid games throughout F1 2014 - F1 2019. Attention to detail is lacking in some parts of the game.

1 pointSo I tested it and worked! I mapped the clutch button to paddle with shift up. But you should reach the max RPM before it goes to 1st gear. That's the trick. Push the throttle pedal to maximum, wait 1-2 secs and it will shift up to 1st gear. After it, you can decrease the throttle to reach the optimal rpm for the start (which is still different from F1 2018). I think this procedure makes the start a little bit harded because for 1-2 secs you cannot see the red lights and in optimal situation you just miss 2-3 red lights. But now it is okay and thank you very much for everyone who shared this info with me and also with the community. By the way, what is the best RPM for the start? I just try to hold it at 90%.

1 pointYou only need to hold in the clutch, press te accelerator, and release the clutch once the lights go out. The first time you need to use the upshift, is when you need to go to 2nd gear for the first time.

1 pointI have a G29, too. I have no problem with race starts at all. If it helps, my clutch button is mapped to X on the wheel (along with DRS because the two are never needed at the same time).
