    Well done codemaster. Playing on vanilla ps4, and the new graphics is amazing. No more blur, and the rear view mirror is now fluid. Making a good game, even better. Cant wait to see what you bring next

    There is no difficulty clocking up 40,000km i would rather they make it complete the whole career on hard or something worth putting the time into, Threads like this always get the trolls like you that have no clue what they are on about people here are not asking to make a trophy easy it's about making a trophy reasonable.

    Hey Codies! I'm pleased to let you know that I am very much loving the new GRID! However, like so many others, I feel the game is lacking features despite its core racing package being superb. A few additions I feel would be excellent for the game are below: A car washing/livery refreshing feature. The "battle-scarred" look cars get after being raced is cool and all, but seeing your car enter a race covered in scratches and dirt gets old very, very quickly. No professional racing organization would allow a car to be entered looking as filthy as our cars in-game get after only a few races. There was a feature very much like this in the original GRID from 2008 for washing your cars in "Grid World" mode. Why not add it back? I seriously miss seeing my cars looking fresh on the starting grid! Race length adjustment for career mode, please! I've seen several other people asking for this in this topic. Really, we want to enjoy this game's sublime core racing package for more than a few laps at a time. Being able to rotate the camera around the car while watching replays. Destruction Derby mode in single player (it's a GRID staple!). Optional practice sessions before races that are at least 10 minutes long, as seen in GRID Autosport. Practicing a course alone in time attack through free play is nice, but having that practice option available from the pre-race menu (alongside tuning and hot lap qualifying) would mean so much, especially since we cannot see exactly what course configurations we'll be driving on before we enter a championship despite the fact that we could see all the information we needed about each race of a championship in GRID Autosport's pre-season contract offers. Extension of qualifying to two or three laps. Having only one chance to nail a lap without being able to control your speed when starting a flying lap is... quite frustrating. 😕 This would be a big thing to implement, but a sponsorship system like that seen in 2008's GRID, with reasonable objectives similar to those seen in GRID Autosport, would do so much to enrich the core gameplay experience. Being able to earn money quickly would be a big help for being able to purchase the more expensive cars in any case. At the very least, it would be nice to simply choose what sponsors we'd like to see on our cars, and pick different sponsors for each location on the car like in previous GRID games. Being able to choose white or black as the primary color for sponsor stickers would be wonderful; I hate not being able to see my sponsor stickers well when using a customized white livery. An options menu in the pre-race menu alongside hot lap qualifying and tuning, so we can adjust controls, difficulty, etc. before tacking a race. The option to temporarily quit an event from the pre-race menu (to resume it later, not to simply leave the event entirely of course). Thank you very much in advance for reading this, and for creating this game as well. It's already a blast to play and has so much potential, so please do add to it!

    Yep noticed that aswell, really off putting when driving, Codemasters have the same thing done with the fabia, camera is very close to the wheel also, be nice to be able to put the seat back further

    - I finished the game. I think is very good, there are a lot of classes, lot of new cars to play with it, some tracks are really fun. But i would talk about some things that can be adressed and changed to be a better game. I will mix the good and the not so good (let me put that way). - Career: 1- It should have more events or at least more well split between classes. Like the "Tuner" you only have 2 events with the World Time Attack class and the cars are super expensive. 2- The payouts should be a little better. 3- It's repetitive in a not good way, it's not envolving like GRID 1 or 2. 4- The progression is good, although some of the acolades i think they are bugged right now and you can't unlock some of the liveries. 5- No sponsors deals on the cars like GRID 1 and 2. -Customization: 1- It's good to have a lot of liveries but it's missing not having different kinds of paint for all liveries like: matte, gloss, pearlescent, chrome, carbon (why not?), whatever you guys can put in the game is welcome. Some liveries are gloss only, or chrome only and the secondary options are gloss you can't match. It's unfortunatelly. It's a minimal problem but it's unfortunatelly. 2- Missing those wheels from GRID 2. Ok, maybe some manufactures don't allowed you to change and that's ok, but still. 3- Change the wheel colour of some cars like the Porsche 917/30 for example. You can match with a custom livery because it's always blue. 4- Noticed that at least on the Plymouth Cuda AAR the liveries on the splitter are misaglined. 5- Some cars you can change the liveries at all like the Nissan S13, S15 and R32. - Physics: - I play the game on PC with a XBox One controller. Despite like the game the way it is, i really like the older titles more in terms of fun driving. Some cars feels like that has no grip when accelerating especially on 3rd gear getting out of corners. Maybe for wheel users this is not a huge problems but for controller and keyboard users i see a little bit more of a problem on the precision. It feels like you have to configure a TC, ABS, steering linearity and all those advanced setting diferently for each car to get most out of it and that's a lit bit of a pain. Some cars are great to drive like the GTE cars or the Ferrari 512 BB LM is just a dream and you can go on and on. But others like the Muscles, or the Super Tourers are just not fun to drive. Please don't get me wrong i don't want that all cars be the same or have all the grip but they be fun to drive. The Porsche 935 is too light at the front at high speeds, the Ford GT is too light compared to the Ferrari 330, the Porsche 917 has too much oversteer compared to the Mclaren M8D... - Multiplayer: - I think people already said enough about this topic, but here we go: we should be able to host our own lobbies, with our own rules, be able to choose AI or not. - Leaderboard: - People was talking about the possibility of a cross plattaform times. Would be cool. Another neat feature would be a filter for controller, keyboard, wheel users and all mixed up of course. - Wishes: - Most of them i already post as things that can be changed but here 2 more: 1- GT3 class. Could be added inside on the invitational class. 2- At least one Lamborghini. Camon! There is no one! (XD)

    Hey @ChrisGrovesMCM! Long time Codies fan here (since the TOCA days) but my first time on the forums. The new Grid is certainly lean on content but I can see it becoming incredible with the right support. Feature/Content Requests: 1. Track Request: Bathurst. Some of my fondest memories from the more recent GRID titles have come from endless laps of Mt Panorama. The insanity of the track marries well with the dramatic racing in 2019's GRID. The extremely exciting inclusion of modern V8 Supercars in the title is just another reason why this track would be a welcome addition. 2. Car Request: 2019 Ford Mustang Supercar. I respect licences are difficult but having a mustang to compliment the ZB Commodore would really complete the package, especially if Bathurst is added. The inclusion of the FG Falcon at launch was a welcome surprise though, I'm really glad the team have included Australian motorsport! 3. Car Request: S5000. I was excited to see open-wheelers in GRID 2019. However, neither the JEDI F1000 or Renault F1 offer the racing brutality I expected in this GRID title. GRID could really do with a big, angry open wheeler that is both amazing to look at but a handful to drive. The newly launched S5000 series in Australia would be an incredible addition to GRID. Hopefully, the infancy of the series would also make a licence agreement easier to achieve. See the S5000 highlight package below if you are unfamiliar with the cars. 4. Feature Request: Increase Career Race Distance. I know I'm far from the first to ask this, but I would also like to see an option to increase the Career race distance. I understand that GRID targets a more casual audience, but having longer races as an option would be great. In fact, I've put the game down while waiting for this change in the hope I will be able to maximise my time/enjoyment in the career mode. 5. Technical Request: Force Feedback. Once again, I know GRID targets a casual audience and I'm super happy I can use my Thrustmaster TMX wheel at all. I don't normally run very heavy FFB but the feedback is extremely weak even for my liking (everything is turned up to the max). If it's possible, I would like to see the strength increased. Thanks for the great game and engaging the community as it continues to evolve. I hope some of my suggestions are considered along with the great ideas already shared here in the forums!

    ^^ I wish the car setup menu had all the options Grid Autosprt has... 2019 has no differential, downforce, suspensions option for front and rear so tbh we can´t really change the cars balance/ turn in/out behavior in 2019 with so much missing and only be able to have it stiffer or softer overall and the steps in between min/max are also very limited with 2 compared to 10 in Grid AS...

    To be honest, as an old racing game player since the first Colin McRae Rally (no online mode) I care about single player mode! 😅 Also because the career is also a training for me... When I start to be quite good then I go to try online... But It's only my point of view 🤷‍♂️

    Yeah, new CM game releases & discounts on older titles seem to be one common cause of Racenet failing due to increased traffic. And it appears to fail across multiple CM games when it does so. CM, please... invest in extra Racenet capacity increase capacity in advance of planned events which are likely to lead to increased traffic & failure of Racenet (new game releases, discounts, timed events) implement 24/7 monitoring & support for Racenet (players/community suffer needlessly each time it fails over a weekend & doesn't get fixed until UK office hours the following Monday) investigate possibility of Racenet services auto-recovering/restarting when these issues occur (as an alternative/interim arrangement to the above 24/7 support) reduce reliance on Racenet in your current/future games (in particular, allow single-player/career modes to function in their entirety without it) Thanks!

    This has been happening at least since the DR days. I remember one time racenet was down a whole long weekend 🤦. What's worse is the ZERO acknowledge of the issue.

    We all saying it the different wheel giving use the problem when the most common thing is the game. Everyone noticed the MFD popping up b4 it register the input. When I try going from high to low I expect 1 action but like we all notice the 1 action becames 6. Infact I would expect any wheel that's has a dial would be quicker than buttons because the game/PS4 can't do dble tap & pressing a button twice will be slower than a roll of a finger.(🤔 Yes we do have dble press/tap the SHARE button can be set to dble press 🧐 so what can't other buttons do this in the game) I wouldn't not say a buy but more like unthoughtful design, CM needs to remember a lot off you have been buying & playing this game 4 years & you all expect the game to keep up. For the ones that need & use MFD then it's ok but for the ones like use that use the so called short cuts we dont need the MFD to popup. We need if anything is the reverse, when we press say Brake Bias it should change 1st, then in the wheel display it should display the brake bias that you chose for a few seconds or until we change something else like diff or ers and not just be a quick flash, so we don't rush to look b4 it's gone. Hell there should be a short cut to accept Jeff new strategy with a click to accept or if we go over a lap it's ignored, this button should be a double tap so we could double up on some MFD short cuts.

    Getting ERS to the setting you want is like learning a whole bunch of combos in a fighting game. I almost expect a voice sample to shout "ERS SUCCESSFULLY CONFIGURED" and the screen to start flashing and fireworks playing when I finally hit the right button combination. Not to mention my nearest opponents engine exploding as a reward for my mashing skills....

    Yeah a bit like in F1 2010 but for 2018 and 2019 it would be nice if they could just roll out a fix. I think the problem might have something to do with it first opening the mfd and then changing it. So everytime you change it 'it opens the mfd' even though it might already be open and then it adjusts the value.

    A race game fan like me will not stop to play the game when the career mode is done. I will get that achievement sooner or later. Seems like many people here play games only for the trophys and then do the same in the next game, rushing through only for the trophys. So i don´t care and hope nothing will change. Stop that whining pls 😛 It´s a trophy/achievement for all players that like the game and play it alot.
