ok, lets talk honestly and frankly. I don't want to be rude but this game is the worst of the GRID serie. To me, it's the most disappointing game since a very long time. I was expecting A LOT (and I guess, I can speak for everyone) for this game. Can we talk about the poor reviews on this game on Steam ? More negative reviews on Metacritic. I don't understand why there is such a gap between press media reviews and players reviews. Everything is missing in this game You can't tune your car whatever you want You can't paint your car whatever you want (seriously, same decals from GRID2) You can't choose your sponsors you can't paint the rims you can't choose the race length Top tiers cars / low tiers cars > means that only few cars are useful (basically, on every races, players will choose the same OP cars) Nemesis thing is useless AI is terrible, even more terrible in MP. AI cuts you, rams you and you get out of the track. single player is atrocious, no real team management Car selection is slow and tends to bug Easy, Normal and Hard are way too easy Very Hard is someday too easy, someday way to hard No drift Ridiculous amount of cars Cars handling is terrible (the R26 omg 😐). Some cars are way too drifty You can't tune your cars between online races (seriously ..?) No tire/fuel management (who cares since there are only 3 laps lel) race commentators are useless (and their voices in the french version.. omg please make them shut) Im still waiting the super awesome crash from AI. They just drive in straight line ... No custom online races (+AI in MP), MP is a joke Im surely missing other things. What were you thinking CM seriously ? this game is still in beta, but a beta sold full price. Do you seriously think that your game can compet against Forza, GT, Project Cars, NFS ? You guys planned updates on the game. OK. Why not .. but these updates will be contents that you should already be in the game. it's a shame. It's a shame coming from a company well known for their racing games. I'll just wait until NFS Heat (preordered it as well) is out and I'll put this GRID game somewhere and pretend it never exists.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but posting so many photos like that really just dilutes their impact and makes people more likely to skip past them. Pick the 1 or 2 really good ones, and you'll impress people more 🙂

I only know that I would like to play my favorite rally game quietly. There are stages that I just can't tolerate because of the excessive bump. I tried them but, immediately removed them from my playlist. I can bear the stages with less bumps, on the other hand, for a maximum of one hour. Then the usual headaches and nausea take over me. I saw the video of the almost published Finnish rally the other day and I was going to be sick. Let's say I have tried 1/4 of the game so far, also considering the fact that I don't care about rallycross. Which for hundreds of euros is not bad. I only asked for 2 things, a working handbrake and the possibility to choose a fixed cockpit cam. For me everything else, apart from the already fixed audio bug and some wrong co-driver patch notes, doesn't matter. Liveries, sounds and visual bugs do not add anything to me but I understand that someone might be annoyed.

Yeap , really thought that they would have fixed this one they created. All I see with each patch , is more Stuff to Buy...

I can see how that may be the case on the Daily Challenges, however you can see the event details from the service area in any weekly and monthly rally, hence if you were so inclined to go and practice them then you could, also in the case of the weekly/monthly, then it's more useful to know where you are throughout the rally from the main menu screen, as they're the ones you're more likely to forget, and also more likely to struggle to fit around your daily routine.

I'm enjoying it more than FM7. That is probably because I am on a wheel and the controller/wheel balance is much better than FM7. It's more arcade than FM7, as you can take corners faster, acceleration is really high, and braking is lightning quick when compared to the former. That said, I feel the underlying physics are more realistic. IE there is no coasting off the throttle/brake to rotate a car, which is a weird physics quirk of FM7. Rotation of the car really depends on whether it's rwd/fwd/awd/4wd. They're all different. The single player is not greatly robust, but much more enjoyable than FM7 imo, which was a slog. The multiplayer is a mess with only one public lobby full of AI. However, if you can make friends, the game really shines in private lobbies racing other real people. The classes are set with no real cumstonability other than minor tuning of suspension/gears/brake bias, but it keeps the cars close without any wacky rocket or handling builds. You can really just jump in and play and in an actual lobby of people the racing can be close and fun.

The thing is I read the CM answer when we asked CM to add the length race feature. He said "I can't promise blabla, this gonna be a hard task". Seriously ? A hard task ? how ? explain please. 😐 You can be constructive when it's a new game company, making their first game. But i'm not with CodeMaster. They sold us dreams, hopes and I paid for a "Amazing racing game with awesome race moments". We're so far from that and I wonder how you can add/fix all those features and broken mechanisms. What they need to do, is back up everything, like Warner did for Batman Arkham Knight on PC and make a better game. This game needs at least 3 or 4 months more to be good.

@PJTierney Any chance that a special livery might be added for the 2001 Ford Focus also? Like ye did for the 07 focus? They are pretty poor, or at least put the car numbers on the door of the Simpson livery and the white and black liveries or add a nice ford rs blue would be nice 😉

Hi Yes we have asked this question in many different way. I want to simply be told when is cockpit view getting the same information as every other view. If you have to ask what information is missing from cockpit view then you need your eyes tested. CM Can you also be more responsive to the people who spend their hard earned money buying your products. All your mager problems which you have many, should have a weekly updates even if it's small, and be more open as what is going on.

Yes your right that's one off many reasons I ask this question. CM made a game that not equal in every view and many other things. I just want to know the basic why & when we it be. I appreciate all the outside programmers that has filled the gap that CM has not but I pay legend price & I want legend features for that price.

This isn't how it works unfortunately. If GRID 2019 doesn't work then it's game over, there won't be a GRID5... Did you see what happened with Onrush?

Since the 26th of September, the day when @RedDevilKT gave us a official reply and asked what info we want to be displayed on the steering wheel dashboard, we did not get another update anymore again.

Been a week and this is the progress on this game. Shocker.... You should be refunding every grid player. Disgusting that you can get away with releasing a game in this condition and expect everyone to be patient with updates... Don't sugar coat this for what it is, it is an insult.... and a scam, bunch of lying criminals taking money for broken code... But you want us to tell you what needs fixing..... that is pure comedy. While I'm here how do I get a refund? What's the procedure.... $90 for the ultimate broken unpatched edition...

A couple issues with the rear lights on some cars. Not game-breaking by any means, but here they are: First up, the 997/2: On the real car, the tail and brake lights use different LED patterns. This trips up many videogame artists, who make both identical. The real taillights are an open-ended shape But they change to a closed shape when the brakes are applied, presumably to get that little extra bit of the following driver's attention The in-game car uses the open-ended shape for both, so the tails are correct and the brakes are wrong, as pictured here Now moving on to a newcomer, the Fabia WRC: On the real car, the bottom portion of the lights functions as the tail light and the top portion is for the brakes. Again, having them be different grabs your attention more as a following driver. On the in-game car, they just made everything red light up for both functions and called it a day. Real car with tails on, no brakes. Top portion is dark. Now real car with tails on and brakes applied. Top portion is now lit. In-game car tails only. Everything is lit. In-game car, brakes only. Everything is lit.

I believe it is on purpose you can't see what's coming next in the community challenges, so you can't prepare beforehand.
