6 pointsOh come on, we are all in the dark here, even when it came to your announcement on season 1 that you hyped, the only news we got was a picture of paris. Is the studio looking at implementing public lobbies or an option for public races without AI, if they have not decided on this by now then it is how we feared, this is the final deeply flawed game and all we are getting is bug fixes and seasons. for gods sake we cant even adjust the tuning of a car in multiplayer, got to exit out first!

3 pointsNew roadbook is out. http://blog.codemasters.com/dirt/11/the-dirt-roadbook-november-15-2019/ Season 4 DLC cars release have shuffled a bit. Original Now Maybe this could confirm my theory about the Projekt E car might come after season 4 (which outside look similar as the RXS Evo 5 from STARD). Also I think the development time for the Clio takes a bit more time that the Fiesta which could use parts from the OMSE MK8. Which new car you guys looking forward the most?

3 pointsExample: - Open a sticky thread, call it with a good name. - start to make this list: Community requests passed to the team: 1- option to turn on or off AI from online. 2- possibility to make a custom lobby. 3- new trees. 4- etc 5- etc Request confirmed and planned to be into next patch: 1- AI on off online option 2- etc 3- etc List of request cannot be developed, rejected: 1- text chat (and reason why) 2- etc This is only communty oriented, do not involve info about all the team work, which of course is about development and not needed to share with community.

2 points@FlatOverCrest I think you are spamming this thread with unnecessary amount of screenshots, most of which are not even demonstrating the issue.

2 pointsAbout possible new RX locations. Currently we have or will have these RX tracks (13x) Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi Mettet, Belgium Trois-Rivières, Canada Silverstone, England Lydden Hill, England Lohéac, Bretagne, France Estering, Germany Bikernieki, Latvia Hell, Norway Montalegre, Portugal Killarney International Raceway, South Africa Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain Höljes, Sweden From the 2019 season (DLC) only 1 track is missing Spa, Belgium From the 2018 season (original RX content) also only 1 track is missing Circuit of the Americas, Austin, USA From previous seasons the following tracks are missing. Rosario, Argentina San Luis, Argentina Kuovola, Finland Hockenheim, Germany Franciacorta, Italy Istanbul Park, Turkey Than the (possible) new 2020 tracks. Nurburgring, Germany Currently two TBC events, which might be Finland (Kymi Ring) and Russia (Igora Drive) And there are also ARX tracks Mid-Ohio, USA Gateway, USA An outside possibility is Nitro Rallycross NRX, Utah Motorsports Campus, USA My guess It would be a bit strange it would be a 2020 track, although it wouldn't be unlikely. The tracks (kinda) exist. Currently the Nurburging is the only one confirmed. Also I wonder how big a chance it could be if a non WRX track would be in the game. Lydden Hill is a former WRX track, but not a current WRX track. So maybe that leaves the door open for tracks that haven't been in WRX, for example as the NRX track or for example the Kymi or Igora tracks if they wouldn't be on the 2020 calendar. Also the two pure ARX tracks I guess will be unlikely. Strategicly the Circuit of the Americas would be a logical choice. It is a track that was used by WRX, and is used by ARX. Also it is the current only track that is missing from the 2018 season. Spa would be a fan favorite choice, but seem to be unlikely due to licensing costs/fee. If you look at the pre-2018 tracks, than maybe Hockenheim would make the most sense to make an appearence. The track exists in the F1 games and licensing costs might be low (Automobilista has the tracks also). Other One thing that I miss currently is some of the alternative track lay-outs that DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally 1 had. Also would be nice if some more tracks have a night option 🙂. RX Cars I wouldn't be suprised, or at least if I would be marketing manager at IMG, is trying to get the Projekt E STARD presentation/test car in the game as free content. This will definitly help to get more people involved with Projekt E. The STARD MK8 Fiesta will be part of the fourth DLC season, so after it, it can be adjusted to be in Projekt E spec in a eSupercar class. That for example if in 2020 more car models will join Projekt E and are from the outside the same models as the 2018/2019 content, than these can also be adjusted and than be sold als payable or free DLC. Not much need to be done than as driveline physics (engine, transmission) can be taken from the Fiesta and suspension/wheel physics can be taken from the original cars.

1 point... Per Steamspy anyhow, which in the past few days has ticked over from 100-200k: https://steamspy.com/app/690790 It's a magnificent game, the finest rally game thus far in history (imho), and for me personally the only rally simulator that's actually playable with a controller. The only competition in rally gaming this year has only underscored what a great game DR2.0 is.

1 pointYep. Bennett is (just about) competitive at a National level, but he just isn't close to the World guys. It's cool to participate at the top level, but I still maintain that running in the Euros in the Fiesta would see him consistently racing people and not trailing at the back collecting places purely thanks to other peoples woes. Just rumours. I still think Riga is a strong possibility if they can get the financial issue resolved. Russia and Finland have been mentioned a few times with regards to the July date. EDIT: Ha, beaten to it with the answer to Oscar97!

1 pointThanks PJ; I'm really disappointed with this, it's ruining the otherwise superb location for me - if I'm told it's a necessary compromise then I'll be frustrated by the fog-free preview screens that are impossible to recreate but will move on and be more careful to check video next time - if it's a design decision then I really hope it can be reviewed.

1 pointI'm looking forward to the Mini in DR2.0, purely so I can get some good results with it I have massive respect for Ollie for managing to get the whole season done but I agree with @ianism I'm afraid

1 pointAndrew Coley came to CM to record his voice for the 2019 World RX mode. I still dream to have Andrew Coley's commentaries during the replay but it is a huge work to do so I can still dream. But, if Stéphane Prévost is here too, it is for : - correct pace note - OR new rallies. I am ok with new rallies.

1 pointIn this photo you can see how bad the glare is, and how the tinting makes it crystal clear. To be fair, the glare was pretty bad in all views though. You can see how the apex is nearly impossible to see.

1 pointThanks for the responses guys.We still seem to be stuck though. Have not tried Mirror on DIRT, good idea. As far as performance, will go test tonight. AFAIK (read this somewhere, sometime, dont hold me to it) any mirroring of HMD to desktop does not require extra rendering power from the GPU. It only renders the HMD, and then it really is just a mirror image. Have found interesting additional config info for Mirror though... https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/pcsdk/latest/concepts/dg-compositor-mirror/
-
1 pointDo you know if this affects graphic performance, as essentially it's rendering out two screens? One for the game itself and another through oculus mirror.
-
1 pointlol what are you talking about? the menus and UI are amazing (though they could definitely give more info about how things work). my partner teaches graphic design to Master's students and she flipped out when she saw the menus and loading screens because she was so impressed.

1 pointCertainly the right decision to cancel, would have been really wrong to have a race in the middle of a natural disaster. Try to tell drivers, spectators, organizers, staff to focus on the race in those circumstances, nope. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-50375407 So Hyundai win their first ever title.

1 pointDid you guys know you can change the size of the images? Double click the image and after that you can change the size of the image. For one picture it is not needed, but if you post a complete album, it gives a much better overview. People can still click on the image to see it big. 😉
