2 pointshmmm I didn't even notice that it was pink rather than the normal red. watching it again... I still think it's the normal red. it's just on a blue background and it's slightly transparent so it looks more pink. the white lettering also is kinda transparent. omg we are overanalyzing the **** out of this. well done PJ.

1 pointthis is not true in WRC8 though. often the game can start sunny, it will start to rain, and then the weather will clear up leaving it sunny again but with puddles on the roads. there is even variation of similar weather conditions within one stage. just last night i was driving a stage in the Tour de Course which started out rainy, then the weather got more intense and it started to storm with harder rain and worse visibility, then it went back to rainy again. also regarding the 30fps on console - this is what they officially say but it certainly FEELS much faster. in fact if i play DR2.0 and WRC8 back-to-back the feeling of speed is basically exactly the same, even though DR2.0 runs at a confirmed 60fps on console compared to the claimed 30fps of WRC8. anyway i don't want to turn this into a WRC8 thread and overall DR2.0 is a better game imo, but WRC8 does have its merits.

1 pointI think I got us a lead! Look at the teaser image. See all those dots? Bet they can be arbitrarily connected to fit whatever conspiracy we can cook up... like constellations of the upcoming cars, or maybe each one is a corner in some of the upcoming stages. Get to work you thirsty gossipers!

1 pointonly 1 free track for everyone, the GRID track list is so poor......I feel scammed

1 pointI would ideally see 4 new rally countries : - 1 tarmac like Manx or Ireland. - 1 mountainous tarmac like Sanremo or Corsica, or even Japan. - 1 dirt country like Kenya, Morrocco or Mexico. - 1 muddy country like Malaysia, Indonesia or China. If they add stages to existing countries, it would be nice too. New rally cars are also very welcome, especially R4, more kit cars, GTs, R2s and oldies. Wouldn't be against a H1 RWD category.

1 pointF1 2019 has made huge leaps of quality in many respects, but I think it is appropriate list some flaws that unfortunately I still see repeated, and that make this wonderful title one of the best for lovers of the genre. The aspects to be reviewed in my opinion: Obviously it is obvious to start with this first point, but I think I speak for everyone, desiring a driving simulation that TOTALLY points to the simulation and has a graphic that we succeed in approaching photorealism. Then... - REALISTIC graphics and appearance. It is clear by now that most lovers of the racing genre, they want the real simulation and more and more photorealistic graphics - More diversified and punctual radio communications and comments - A more human voice dialogue system (too mechanical in options and dialogue) not to mention the vocal interventions from the boxes that are out of place. - Accidents at the start, TEST and during the race (collisions involving all parties of the car and not just the front wing or a broken arm) I FIND YOU A HUGE SHEEP THAT ENDS THE REALISM AND ADRENALINE IN THE GAME. - I don't think I've ever seen a RED FLAG for a serious track accident during practice and qualifications ... - visible tire degradation: blistering, graining etc. and ... CONSEQUENCES in the tender strategy (tires are a fundamental aspect in f1 races) - Car noise ... work in the 2019 title, but enter the typical noise / hiss of the turbo (they are only details) - Eliminate the interviews (they are useless and I would say also annoying) let your results e behavior on the track decide your statistics and your RESOURCE SCORE. - VISOR CAM (Project cars teaches ...) visual inside the helmet and, please, the possibility to delete, in the internal view, the steering wheel (ELIMINATE IT COMPLETELY) for those who play with a steering wheel and a dashboard, I don't think it is necessary (ON / OFF) - More varied, more frequent and frequent car damages, with possible withdrawal from the race (option ON / OFF faults) (mechanical, electrical faults etc etc) - The punctures must be more realistic (they must first delaminate, then explode and then be destroyed) - Rare large and spectacular accidents - Personalized helmets with stickers, shapes and textures to make it from scratch as you wish. - Manual guide on grid position ON / OFF (I RECOMMEND THE BOX SYSTEM ADOPTED BY THE "PROJECT CARS" TITLE) - Full manual route pitstop ON / OFF path (I RECOMMEND THE BOX SYSTEM ADOPTED BY THE "PROJECT CARS" TITLE) - More varied and varied animations and comments (for a long time they become repetitive and boring) - Marshals that come out and clean the debris instead of disappearing (also valid for damaged cars off the track) - A complete lap at the end of the race with radio from the pits for the result obtained and driving in the closed park (ALSO THIS STRICTLY MANUAL) - Personally you could treat all these aspects instead of dedicating yourself the insertion of old cars of the past, unnecessary additional sections alternative leagues, which are not the current one. I GO WITH THE SAY THAT I AM VERY ENUSUS OF THE ENTRY OF THE F2 SEASON ... BRAVI, GREAT IMPROVEMENT.

1 pointLazer scanned tracks has to be a priority... Dont be claiming most authentic F1 otherwise.... Damage, tyre and fuel wear in time trial.... Better setup options

1 pointi have some ideas that would make the game a lot better...,.....number 1 they need to get rid of f2 altogether it spoils it its called formula 1 for a reason. what would make it better is if they gave the players character a voice.....for example if you choose to drive as a female which you can do when you are talking to the press instead of just clicking answer you select what you want to say and your character talks like real life and they should also apply accents.....for example if you choose to be female and be indian or welsh or scottish when you talk to the press you have a female voice in scottish accent.........they can do that because carl in the data centre has a voice and he has a australian accent so it is possible. also they give the option to drive all the classic f1 cars so why cant they bring back the classic tracks? the original spa in belgium which was a longer track india valencia zandvoort nurburgring magny cours the ain diab track estoril argentina watkins glen etc? if they can bring back the classic cars they should also bring back the classic tracks and give the player the option of the 21 race standard season or the extended season which includes the classic tracks.....it would make the game a lot more challenging with the new tracks and it would be a lot more realistic if your character actually talked instead of clicking on what you want to say and thats it. they should get rid of formula 2 altogether and make it a 10 season career mode like they have done before

0 pointsneither is any other rally location .... other than Ireland (denied by Jon)
-
0 points30 FPS. It's possible a lot more if you have bigger performance budget. Dirt 4 was ugly according to DR or DR2 and that could be the reason.

0 pointsThere is still nothing changed for this seat position stuff... It's so frustrating, in every other sim you have the chance to setup the seat/view position however you want with no limitation. Another big problem are those limited FOV options. This slider is like a bad joke, why doesn't you work with any numbers? ''narrow - wide'' like come on.... You should be able to set a number because the FOV is a calculated number and not a option you should setup by feeling. I would really like to know why this limited pitch movement and up and down movement for the seat postion even exists? This doesn't make any sense. I'm done with Dirt games, after racing in ACC or Raceroom where you can setup everything correctly with no limitations I can't go back to this wrong FOV and seat position stuff from Dirt Rally 2.0 ... Sorry to say this, but all those limited half hearted setup options are screaming: ''Arcade!'' and destroying an otherwise good rally sim ;(
