After playing F1 2019 for a few weeks, like everyone, I’ve come up with a few features I’d like to see in future F1 games. These aren’t complaints, I actually like F1 2019, it’s just some positive feedback and a few new ideas for, who knows, maybe 2020? A full F2 championship in career mode that actually impacts your F1 career options. No more fictional drivers, please. Option to disable mid-season transfers. For me it takes away from the realism and adds nothing in return. No more multiplayer car, maybe it’s just me, but I like to see and race with the actual real world F1 cars... and drivers. Visor Cam (check out Project Cars’ helmet cam). Look for F1 visor cam on Youtube, it looks spectacular. Looks like fun. Dirt Rally-style F1 team management: Mechanics, R&D, agent, pit crew, etc. Instead of doing the same practice sessions over and over again (year after year) for research points. Get rid of the reporter, let your accomplishments and behaviour on track (and team management) decide your stats and rep. Updated post race animations. Historical tracks and keep the 2019 tracks that don’t make onto the 2020 calender. Use it for multiplayer, time trials, invitationals. Please, no more fictional drivers and their scripted drama. I just read about the Nemesis system in the new Grid game, it sounds promising and I think it would be a great way to get a natural random rivalry going in the F1 career too. (With real world F1 drivers please) No more microtransactions, cosmetics or other. Seriously Codemasters, don’t go all EA on us now. I’m all for extra dlc or a season pass for more content, but not those dirty microtransactions. Please substitute the stuffy old first person paddock/workstation enviorment for a sleek new no nonsense menu system. Tyre punctures, from collisions or on track debris. More spectacular and realistic crashes and damage. There’s like one crash animation in the game. We’ll be oke, we have halo’s now. Select real world drivers helmet designs for your driver. Truck Racing Championships.. just kidding, please don’t 😀 Ofcourse this is just my opinion; and even with all these things mentioned above, like I said, I still enjoy playing F1 2019. I like the car handeling, leagues, F2, the cars, weather and tracks all look great and it’s just fun to play 👍 ___ TL;DR: focus on a more realistic and fun on track experience, less tedious off track fluff and drama.

Hi @AllenB2609 @FIE, I'm currently working on a major response for the forums on key topics, including this one. You could it a 'State of the Forums address' if you fancied giving it title. Hopefully, it will give a lot of important information on the forums. I understand the frustration, but stay patient. I hope it will be worth the wait.

You have 8 special sections with gravel. If I want to save the settings for the wet road then I have nowhere to do it ...

Way too much blueish fog/haze/smog in Finland (all the videos uploaded) for some reason. Here is the still video pic from the Codies blog for Finland which looks GOOD: And here is the reality in the game, and the fog seems to be there all the time for some reason: The same problem exists in Germany. Can we please have clear vision at a distance in both events?

So I just had a mental race this evening. Actually it should have been red flagged (bug? or feature?), but had a nice experience 🙂

Hi @BarryBL I love the serie, but I need some further improvement with the SC which is an awesome issue if its works properly, right now and since 2013, that is not the case despite I had post video testing year after year in order to help to fix it. @sloppysmusic I will never give up and I will continuous send here video testings each other week when we do the Torneo Nocturno race, of course, if the SC go out I will post it as well. By the rules of the Torneo Nocturno championship every driver must record the hole session, so for me its not an inconvenience do post them later. Of course, if you need some further information do not hesitate to contact with me in. I will help you in all you need it. I make constructive criticism.

I did a couple of barrel rolls @ sweden in group b in the previous club and barely had anything to repair at the next service so its not that hardcore.

HI @JuanCarMR, Thanks for the video and feedback on this, makes it easier for me to take this straight to the development team. This has been added and passed on to them

When you get better at it you will notice that you no longer count the gears in your head and will learn to shift based on engine sound or the rev lights. I do both. Next you will learn to take corners in a higher gear than expected and see a huge time win. Downshifting under braking will become a second nature and you learn soon enough. Downshifting to far down will result in traction loss or a spin. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

When you get used to manual shifting it will get easier like sloppy says, but never forget to listen to your body. When you are used to it you don't need the musclepower anymore and a slight press will do the trick. You are now so focussed that you automatically use more musclepower than necessary.

Well I managed to do a full race with manual was really fast in tbe first stint and it went south from there lace didnt pick up as muh as I would have hoped was fair achey (being new ro ffb aswell) its a game changer compared to pad and auto a month ago. I obviously dont want injuries I am only 28/29 16 Dec Ive just never had the best hands internally. With that said I am not going back to auto for now. When I start PC2 I may go in a lower open wheel formula with less changes and learn my craft there.

It must be something more than just a car or a location for them to tease it now for a spring 2020 release!! (I’d like to think so anyway)

I hope there is no more RX-stuff incoming... (Sorry RX-Fans - but that is not my favor and only my opinion 🙂)

P.S. Don't forget there are also quite a lot of us who don't want them, and are quite happy with the current graphics. People who are happy with the status quo just don't tend to bother responding to polls.

Reduces the mist effect yes but also makes the game look really poor otherwise. No shadows, no grass, no ground detail etc. I always play with TAA off since I prefer sharp graphics and TAA makes the game look way too blurry. I think my screenshots with TAA off speak for themselves, regarding how much it helps with the fog After Codemasters remove the fog from Finland they should adjust/disable it in other locations as well.

Unrealistic absolutely, it's not how Finland looks like at all in dry, clear daytime. In terms of graphical quality it looks far worse than it should. Clear daytime is a very basic weather option for any track and it's not available for Finland as is. That's plenty of reason to change it. Yes, it begs the question how a DLC gets released in this state. Not being able to repair BMW M2 turbo, gear indicators not working in Greece, Yas Marina allowing gross corner cutting were strange enough but this is a whole different level. And Finland also severely lacks weather options (no rain at all?) in addition to the botched daytime.

Sorry but i disagree. If you want to go e-sports and have the races commentated and broadcast and look like real f1, the least you can do is make the interface for spectators look like the interface for spectators on tv. It's not hard to do. It adds a LOT to the immersion if you're watching a stream (esports or whatever league) And they can always give the option to use the old-style graphics while driving. It would also be of tremendous help to the commentators to have simple things like a purple box for the fastest lap. So you don't have to switch to the fastest laps if you want to see that. (And for the love of all that is holy, add a penalty tab to the mix) I'm sure this small update will add a lot to the game for a lot of people, and a lot to the appeal of the f1 e-sports. So personally I'm baffled that they haven't already done it. at least for spectators.
