2 pointsHello, Went back on Forza Motorsport 7. Didn't play GRID for 1 month so I sold GRID (and NFS Heat as well). This game is slowly dying and I don't want to be part of this sinking. You won't see me anymore on the game or the forum. I wish you all the best and hope Codemasters will learn about their mistakes.

1 pointWhy can it not be possible to change a front wing regardless of the damage level? I am so sick of needing to intentionally damage the wing further to get a wing change. I just tried to do that right before pitting and they called me in to fix the damage on the NEXT lap making me do an extra stop. I should be able to just change the wing regardless of the damage level. Surely I can't be the only person who feels that way.

1 pointUp100 , are you a codemasters employee, the same as marcel is he a codemasters employee, because unless you can actually fix these games , what help are you, i would say unless you can actually fix then don't add to the confusion already on this forum, , if you or any of codemasters employees want to communicate properly then here's my ps4 I'd , ( mark___f1 ) and we can test and swaps notes proper in track testing and party chat, and actually fix game and make the game more enjoyable for all of codemasters customers. instead of all this backwards and forwards nonsense on here , because 99% of bugs don't actually get fixed when we report them on here,

1 pointThere’s more realistic dialogue with Phil at the end of DR2 stages

1 pointOk, maybe it won't be so easy but almost all the work has already been done. Anyway, this is an issue highlighted on March 14, a couple of weeks after the release of the game and that, precisely because of the date but also because of the amount of complaints around the web, should take priority over to other. N.B. I said "issue" because it seems more like a programming error than anything else. And the "no shake" entry in the "camera shake" settings leaves no room for further considerations.

1 pointWith PJ going on annual leave until January there’ll be no gossip until January either. Well, apart from the sound recordings of the Legacy and 97 Impreza that we’ve been talking about since May... good job they were spotted back then as it has kept this thread alive 🤣

1 pointIf you have some specific issue you've noticed on the Android/iOS version of GRID: Autosport, then note that the game was ported by Feral Interactive and the bug should be reported to them 🙂

1 pointHope this week is going to be the week that somebody can give us a serious answer to a 10 July question about two buttons that work properly in any other game

1 pointOk, thanks. Btw, do you need any new beta testers?
-
1 pointJust tested with two of us and it worked, first time selecting the track since season 1, will test on Friday with more players just to make sure.

1 pointHI @JuanCarMR, Thanks for the video and feedback on this, makes it easier for me to take this straight to the development team. This has been added and passed on to them
-
1 pointNah not gonna happen.. I'm GAMING grandpa. When I first met my late wife's kids (my stepkids) I had already owned and practiced their favorite game (THPS) for several months so I could compete at the same level!

1 pointhi @BarryBL I took a sample video. As you can see, it will not be repaired. Setting is FP session in carrier mode. https://youtu.be/S5MEOSrP0oA
-
1 pointCorrect , on the normal FULL Damage , the very light green damaged Front Wing does NOT get changed even if Yes is selected. There was a video by Limitless also about a Month ago regarding this.
-
1 pointNO Your confirmation is wrong. If the damage level is lower than yellow, it will not be repaired even if “Y” is selected in MFD. I often play career mode, and it will always happen.
-
1 pointI also posted about this issue before. When will codemasters notice this? By the way, this problem has continued since F1 2018. reference ) https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/41011-wings-are-not-replaced/?tab=comments#comment-448908

1 pointNo, they don’t. Not when light green (low) damage and possibly even yellow. Like OP says, the only way to make sure they change it is to damage it more. Even when set to “Y” on wing repair on MFD. This is crazy... “auto” should mean change if heavy damage and “Y” should mean Yes, always change!

1 pointI was racing a Ferrari F430 race in shanghai online right now, and AI named dylan jenkins accelerated from 150-300 in a second twice, last time took out multiple players and caused a huge pileup. that was new lol
-
1 pointNo, you got the "Grid: A fool and his money are soon parted" edition whilst I personally preferred the "Grid: Day 35 and £3.00 cheaper than the season pass" edition 😋

0 pointsHI everyone, Regarding the wings, @UP100 is right with the change on your MFD in race if you want to control it manually. If left on 'Auto', the game will decide whether the time sacrificed changing the wing in the pits is worth the time lost out on track per lap. We understand that in some cases even the slightest loss of downforce can drastically affect performance (tracks like Monaco, Singapore, General Wet Conditions) and therefore we added a manual override in the MFD for the player. I've just tested this running simulation damage at Monaco. I got light green damage on my front wing (was never going to take me long) and was not recommended a change of strategy to stop. I manually requested to box and changed my 'Repair Wing Damage' on the MFD manually to 'Yes'. At the stop, wing was changed as requested. I then got major damage on the next lap (again, easy for me to do normally), requested to box and manually changed 'Repair Wing Damage' to 'No' through the MFD. Wing was not changed as requested. If you can provide evidence of this not happening in a video, please add it to this post and I can investigate further for you.
