1 pointInteresting, when I say plod along I just mean I don't play super often so I'm only just now kicking off season 2. I do spent the upgrade points but went for reliability first so I guess it'll become more noticeable as I add more performance upgrades. That said I'll probably swap teams a few times over the course of a few seasons so maybe that'll balance it out a bit.

1 pointWe have gone over this one a few times. They introduced the bug with one of the Patch Updates. I mentioned before, that they should just go back to the Patch Update that killed the Clockwise dial, and see why, but sadly, the focus is more on Halloween skins and Christmas Decorations

1 point@UP100 Thank you, I've haven't attached dump coz as I wrote, there's no "fresh" dump after last patch.. Game crashes and all I got are the log files I've attached.. It doesn't create any crash dump file anymore

1 pointThis has happened to me 4 times today. I give up on this event. Once it happened on the cool down lap after I won, twice it happened on lap 3 while i was in 2nd and then twice it happened with about a lap to go in 2nd.

1 pointI'm sort of in a similar boat, I find it borderline unplayable at anything resembling speed. I think certain hardware or settings may make it worse maybe, so might just be particularly bad on my rig. It's a pity because it was my most anticipated update from DR1, where I loved the visuals but never enjoyed it because of the flying physics. Still hopeful it can be improved to look even halfway as clear as the preview images for it are.

1 pointI'm not a fan of the constant fog either, but why do people have to exaggerate so much? As if this event wasn't playable. Better a Finland with fog than no Finland at all.

1 pointIf there is also option to disable quotes from blocked users, i would be happy 🙂

1 pointSo I tried again today, and did literally everything the same as i tried yesterday, just with the Kristofferson Polo instead of the Ekstrom Audi, and the achievement unlocked straight after i won the final and continued

1 pointNo, having the Fanatec gear, but I had to let go of the buttkicker. I was breaking the cups and plates in the cupboards.

1 pointWent to Lydden last weekend for the second round of the Winter Championship. No Supercars, but a few decent cars in attendance and some good races. Took a handful of snaps... ...and a few more here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/22961613@N06/albums/72157712183357833 If anyone wants to see more!

1 pointThe Version is currently in Beta, thats why you cannot see that yet. Probably he forgot that he is part of the Beta Testers. The update will be released soon, so you can use these features as well. 😎

1 pointIf you already have 2018 then I'd just wait for next year's game. I had a lot of fun in 2018 with the great 2019 mod, so you get updated cars and drivers without suffering the loss of handling /downforce the newer game will bring you. Ai is still YMMV in career, at least you can sim practice sessions to get faster research points than if you actually practiced (if you have 2018 the practice routes are basically the same so do you really want to do all tracks all over again?). Online, if you are a casual gamer who wants to just race 5 laps, multiple asssits, T-Cam and play bumper cars you can have some fun with it but if you like to take it even half seriously it's not worth it. By now even the most serious leagues are dropping the game due to serious flaws and lack of options from last year's game. If only recommend the game on sale to someone who had never owned an F1 game before, and then for 75% off 14.99 at the Xmas sales. Give the open wheel cars a trial in pcars 2. The tuning WORKS there so you can have a lot of fun and reward for the effort you put in. As @DaleRossimentioned the setups are woeful in the F1 games. Pretty much every setting is basically giving you only 2 results depending on which way you dial it. More speed or more grip. Nothing subtle at all about it I'm afraid. Plenty of great tunes for pcars, including some modest ones from me if you want to look them up and see videos. I love the Formula A in pcars. It's equivalent to 2014 F1 cars, fast, furious with great engine sounds... Plus of course no halo lol.

1 pointHave stuck to my principles and not bought this years game. Will not even get it if it drops to £10, too similar to the last 2 versions. Am amazed they keep charging £45 every year with basically the same game with a few minor updates and still the same bugs. Until they make some really big changes to the game then i refuse to buy into the hype on launch to be left frustrated with the same garbage year on year.

1 pointI will Give you $20 to take it. It should be great, but has so many fundamentally bad things that it's ridiculous. Save your money and get PCars 2 with all the DLC. They actually have laser scanned tracks and put some effort into physics. The "Offical F1" game doesnt have a single laser scanned track. Not one. That has been standard since Xbox 360 on consoles. The same tuning camber and toe settings set the fastest times on all tracks. Doesnt matter if it is Monaco or Monza. That should NEVER happen. If you're just a casual gamer, maybe it is worth 10. If you want any semblance of realism in racing, it is incredibly bad. Actually, Codies did a great job with Dirt Rally 2.0. It has it's issues, but it is very very good.

0 pointsProbably because most of this forum plays with the keyboard (you) and controller using the external camera. Those who play in vr don't have this problem because the camera is already locked to horizon. Then, of course, there are those who are not sensitive to bumps and for them this can never be a problem. "It takes all sorts", the old saying says, and for this reason I cannot criticize those who think differently from me. Sssh..I'll tell you a secret: the eyes serve to observe and the brain to reflect before opening the mouth.
