I just wish they did daily / weekly challenges with no car choice. At least we could get some decent 240Z or DS21 contests.

Finland has a terrible looking fog effect in daytime. Daytime/clear is bad enough and daytime/overcast is even worse. As someone who lives in Finland I can tell you this is not realistic at all in those conditions, and it looks awful. The fog needs to be removed. After that some more weather options for Finland wouldn't hurt Clear daytime should look like this. Notice how there is no fog at all, landscape is crystal clear even at long distance whereas in the game it's foggy only a short distance from your car Or like these fake promo images. How about making the real game look like that as well Overcast daytime should look something like this. Again no fog at all What platform you're playing on (for PC also state Steam, Microsoft or Oculus): Steam What your PC setup/build is like (graphics card, processor etc.): 1230v3, GTX 1070, 16gb ram, SSD, Windows 10, SB Z If you're playing on PC, state whether you're in 2D or VR: 2D. 2560x1440 resolution Whether or not you have any non-standard peripherals connected, like steering wheels, gaming mice etc: Logitech G920 steering wheel+shifter

I’ve been saying this for a while now too. When Sweet Lamb or Baumholder loads up the number of potential stages in there looks so tantalising! Another point I feel I have to make now before this thread goes too far is this: Rallying is categorically NOT about not knowing where the stage goes as is oft claimed on this forum and reddit etc. when people talk on the subject of Your Stage. Rally drivers do not just turn up at full speed having never driven a stage unless it is their very first rally. The reason we have iconic stages like Col de Turini and Ouninpohja etc. in this game is because they are used year on year and the most experienced drivers get to know them and know how to get the beat out of the stage. Consider this and you can recalibrate your expectations of what Your Stage should be, as well as tempering our expectations that it will fall in a realistic spot on the spectrum of: 1to1 Stage_________________Infinitely generated stage

Oh yeah, your solution would be 100x cooler in that it is infinite then, and who doesn't want infinite rally stages?!? I've just dabbled myself in some generational designs and quickly learned what a mountain that is to develop. My idea is more of a "meet in the middle" strategy. Don't force the engine to generate the entire location, as getting it right would be a huge undertaking. But getting a pattern that generates routes through pre-constructed stages is much more straight forward and cuts out a lot of the "unknowns" in designing. It seems like the feasible in the near future option to me. Consider my idea a stepping stone towards the final ultimate goal.

would be nice in the next game if they do try and balance some of the speed differences of classes. some cars are brilliant to drive but something in its class maybe far faster so people just wont drive em for that reason. which is a shame as often a lot of the slower cars in there class are the most fun cars to drive.

And she is such a beautiful car too. May not be the fastest in the class, but so much fun to drive and just looks so good in any screenshot

    Well, new liveries are for : - Ford Escort MKII - MG Metro 6R4 - BMW M2 Competition - Porsche 911 RGT Didin't check the rallycross cars... Anyway, that's 3 D+ liveries for the MKII, while these cars still have a poor livery choice : - Skoda Fabia R5 - Citroen C3 R5 - Peugeot 205 T16 - Datsun 240Z - Renault R5 turbo - Lancia Stratos - Alpine A110 - DS21 And from DLCs : - Subaru Impreza (2000cc) - Fabia Rally - Focus RS 2001

Dont uninstall it, disable it. Press "manage my DLC" and uncheck it in the list https://imgur.com/XH7TU6M

The new liveries seem interesting 🙂 Also, it seems the Audi S1 EKS RX quattro 2019 has received a new engine sound, which seems closer to the real sound. Maybe @tbtstt can confirm? I have no idea if the 2018 version got this new sound aswell.

Hi @ReimvomSchleim, Thanks for your post and thanks for the immediate detail, saves me a question 👍 I'll pass this onto the development team for them to replicate and to identify the issue.

I've probably never been in a place that has over 25 degrees... I cant imagine the pain. On the other hand you can travel to northern countries, and then you can freeze.

Sorry but no excuse for the continued incompetance and extreamly poor support of the users after. They are not learning from past mistakes.

minor UI oversight: Renault alpine is displayed in the UI as a front-engine, rear wheel drive. IRL it's a rear-engined rear wheel drive. The renault 5 turbo is a mid engined car (like the stratos) but the uI displays it as a front-engined car as well. The lancia stratos, by contrast, is displayed correctly the BMW m1 turbo - front-engine display, but it's a mid engine too. Porsche 911 RCS - front-engine display, but it's famously rear-engined IRL Finally, the Speedcar Extrem is displayed as a front engine, but there's definitely no room for an engine in the car's nose 😛 - yup, it's mid/rear engined as well.

I'll stand by what I said back in DR1 - we need dynamic routes through a location more than a dynamically generated location. Look at any of the stage screens while the stage is loading in - almost all of them show how the stage runs through all of these roads and junctions. The ultimate solution is to map out the entire location and all those side roads/junctions. Craft a system that can select 4/8 of those splits and connects them into the "stage". You'll have to record multiple pacenotes for each junction since some might just be "Flat Right 150 passed Junction" and on the next time it is used we get "Caution 2 Left tightens 1 over Junction". THAT would be the way to create infinite replayability. You would turn 16 Splits (2 Longs) into dozens and dozens of potential stages if the roads are laid out right so even half of them have junctions that start/end with 2 options. Not saying it would be easy to develop and implement, but it would be amazing to play through. Imagine one time through Spain it's all tarmac, but the next time at the end of the 2nd split, Phil yells "Caution, Acute Left onto gravel - 100 into vineyards". The entire concept of Spain would flip on its head.

Peugeot 208 2018 vs 2019 cockpit Audi S1 EKS RX quattro, 2018 vs 2019 cockpit Now the FORD FIESTA MK8 is totally different that has been seen in the video from last. Because the one that will be launched first is the 2019 STARD version, while the 2018 version of OMSE is ingame. So the compare is not direct, but interesting to see. Looks like the STARD version cockpit is basically completly different. About the MEGANE R.S. RX for example, a big part of the rear is different (diffuser and air outlet for the cooling.

Start first event, when loaded click back to main menu. At championship window click championship options and choose "Abandon Championship". That will give you new events, if not satisfied then do same again. That won´t drop your class like retire all events will do. Work at least with Playstation.

There are physical differences, eg the MK8 has the full cooling changed, Megane has the rear cut out etc. With the Audi there's only very subtle differences in real life.

I'm sort of in a similar boat, I find it borderline unplayable at anything resembling speed. I think certain hardware or settings may make it worse maybe, so might just be particularly bad on my rig. It's a pity because it was my most anticipated update from DR1, where I loved the visuals but never enjoyed it because of the flying physics. Still hopeful it can be improved to look even halfway as clear as the preview images for it are.
