3 pointsImagine my frustration at buying it for $59 on Oculus to discover that I had only half the game and no option to buy the DLCs at all. I had to buy the whole package again to get the other half the game from Steam. Oculus still has no DLC.

2 pointsNormally I like to look at things from a postive side, and not highlight the bad parts. I have been playing ever since the GP series from Geoff Grammond and I have seen them all. Comparing over the years is difficult because things that are now possible weren't available 15 years ago and could have made a game in those days so much better. One game however that I experienced the worst was F1 2014. Can't really name specific items I disliked, just because F1 2013 was great to play it's succesor was terrible.

1 pointDecided to post a new topic, a squeal to the other topics I have done. So same rules apply, can be any Formula 1 game on any system from any developer out there. What was the one Formula One game you have played that was really bad in your opinion. For me it was F1 World Grand Prix by Eidos A game that I could never work out, cause it went for realistic handing with a game pad on the Playstation.

1 point• PC, Steam user. • Windows 7 professional 64 bit, Intel Core i5-3450 3.10 GHz, 12 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. • Deluxe user. • OSW Simucube (steering wheel), Xin-Mo Controller (Shifter), BU0836-LC Interface (Pedals), BU0836A Interface (Handbrake). Bug: Killarney (South Africa) Rallycross AI times Career mode, Master difficulty, in every qualification I manage to finish 1st, but all other AI opponents make decidedly shorter times, only when they aren't running in my battery!

1 pointthere's a thread talking about this actually. can't find it now, but the consensus was basically that the WRC would probably want a game that was only about the WRC, so there's a good chance we'd lose any non-WRC locations, cars and disciplines (and possibly even many of the older cars). they'd also want it more accessible for more casual fans, so more like the regular Dirt series than Dirt Rally.

1 pointApparently I have finished 90th overall. First overall finish in the top 100. I had been very consitent with the Pug 208 this time and got some more confidence. Unfortunately I was a bit to aggresive in the final stages and the two last sections i drove with a flat tyre, otherwise I could have finished a few places higher, maybe even in the top 80. Monte Carlo: 130th Sweden: 162nd USA: 90th In the standings PJT and I kinda changed places. Because I was 76th after round 2, and PJT now is. I moved up a good 20 positions 🙂 Already had posted screens of it here: https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/38646-dirt-rally-20-share-your-screenshots/?do=findComment&comment=484251

1 pointNothing needing to be fixed will be fixed. Just more skins and paints for $$$. The bump is bad just like not having a single laser scanned track us bad.

1 pointBakkerud at 13.40 (after getting aggro from another driver earlier): “Do it again and I’ll punt you so hard you’ll need GPS to get back to the track” 😄

1 pointMy first post here, but I figured I would chime in since I have put a lot of time in on WRC 8. I play on an Xbox One X and had been using a Thrustmaster TX. It took some time to dial in but the FFB was really good once I got the wheel right. If felt better than DR and DR2.0 The default setups and quick adjustments for the car setups suck. To get the cars to actually handle properly, especially at slow speed, you have to setup the suspension and diff for each location. The physics shine once this is done. There still are some strange physics things going on though. There are invisible puddles sometimes, and the car's reaction to puddles and water spots is way over-tuned. It is also not predictable based on your angle of entry, throttle position, or speed. You also get no feedback from running over some larger rocks or brush on the side of the stage. Curbs on tarmac stages are the exception. Speaking of tarmac, the physics here are really good. The WRC cars tend to still be a little floaty, but proper suspension and diff tuning help with this. Back to the FFB. I just upgraded this week to a CSL Elite 1.1 with the R330 wheel and universal hub and CSL Elite LC pedals. The LC brake has made a huge difference, but it feels better in DR and DR2. The FFB in DR and DR2.0 now feel light-years beyond WRC 8 with my new hardware. I still have some tuning to do, but WRC 8 feels like canned feedback and vibrations now, to where DR and DR2 feel more natural; how I would expect the car and wheel to react. Tarmac still does feel better than the DR games, but even this has improved with the new wheel. And let's talk about fps on console. It runs fairly smooth for 30fps on my One X. BUT......the low fps starts compounding problems as you get faster. When I had the TX dialed in with the car settings right, I was able to push top 25 in a number of stages, but at this speed the frame stutter and graphics wash out was interfering with the physics and my ability to react. TL;DR is that WRC 8 is a good game. It has its issues as does DR and DR2, but it's good. I would recommend if you want to play it seriously, do so on PC. The 30 fps limit on consoles will eventually hold you back. For asphalt rallies, it is much better than DR/DR2. On gravel, I still prefer DR/DR2. My dream come true would be for CM to get the WRC license and make a fully licensed WRC rally game with DR2 gravel physics and proper asphalt physics.

1 pointBro, this is so frustrating especially for us early adopters. And it seems like they do it on purpose. You can buy the ultimate edition with the game and season 1 to 4 for the same price it costs us to get season 3 and 4. I refuse to buy s3 and s4 it for full price when the game and all dlc costs the same. (I'm not sure about other platforms but I'm on Ps4, eu region store, and it's never gone on sale) Please have season 3 and 4 on the next psn sale.

1 pointThat is where the regualtions & homologations come into place. For Rallycross there are FIA homolgated cars and for RX a special list of cars that are not homologated for the FIA, but are allowed for RX. ---------TECH REGS------------ https://www.fia.com/regulation/category/120 So according to the tech regulations: So which cars can be a Supercar 1) Homologated Group A and Group N cars. 2) Cars who are on the list "List of cars not homologated with the FIA, bit allowed for RX" 3) Next to that you can "homologate" a car through the national ACN. It needs to fit certain dimensions. If than approved, it will get on the list pointed in 2. This f.e. happened for the EKS Audi or Munnich SEAT, etc. ALLOWED CARS CONCLUSION: Basically every logical series produced road car can become a Supercar. One note, after the homologation is finished, or when the productions stops, the cars are still allowed for a certain X amount of year. For FIA homolgated cars that is I believe 4 years, and for the non FIA homologated cars that is 7 years. ---------HOMOLOGATED CARS-------- So that the homolgations list can be also found on the website of the FIA: https://www.fia.com/regulation/category/760 Current FIA homologated cars (most of the time goes through a manufacturer or tuner/builder(Callaway f.e. for the GT3 Corvette)) An interesting thing is that the FIA has homologated the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ with a Group A. So basically that can become a Supercar as well 🙂 There is also the list of NON FIA HOMOLOGATED cars: What kind of cars are on this list: - Alfa Romeo Mito (Super 1600 - Tedak Racing) - Audi A1 / S1 (Larsson / EKS / Volland in S1600) - Audi S3 and SEAT Ibiza (Munnich Motorsport All-Inkl.com) - Ford Focus RS (Hoonigan Racing) - MINI Cooper S (XITE Racing) - Renault Megane (GCK / Prodrive) - VW Beetle (Volkswagen Motorsport / Eklund Motorsport) - etc... Basically because XITE has gotten the MINI on the list, someone else could build a Super 1600 or Supercar MINI Coopers S as well. 🙂 For Supercars you could use a custom engine, but I believe for Super 1600, a part of the engine block needs to be part of the BMW/MINI group family. Thinking about that, the MINI could be a perfect S1600 bomb. It is already a great chassis standard wise.

1 pointHi everyone, Update on this one: After some live testing internally and with the assistance of @1512marcel, we now have a proposed solution in its final stages. Pending confirmation and successful final tests, we are hoping to release this in our next major patch. Thanks for your patience, help and feedback on this issue.

1 pointI hope you survey is not as **** as the last 1 a few weeks ago. That survey was full off useless questions, I was hoping for real questions.
-
1 pointHi everyone, Myself and @JustChillin97 have spoken about his survey (the idea I've copied) and I've used my survey to gain further feedback on the forums, and what I can do to help. My survey closes tonight, and I've started to go through the responses to this. There is a vast amount of things I'm looking to cover in a forum update shortly, covering a wide range of topics. As certain features are so discussed (and there is a few heavily discussed ones on these forums), getting the best answers I can that benefits everyone is taking a little time. In terms of directly answering your questions, we are still supporting F1 2019 and we will be moving forward.

1 pointIt's "on the list" for YEARS! So.... what else is new!? It's not like we haven't heard the "itsonthelist" blabla before. when we see action and see something is actually beeing DONE with these points, then it's starting to become credible. for now it's just another another empty promise. We stopped worrying a long time ago, and it switched to stopped believing everything coming from CM. When you simply get to the point that you don't believe anything anymore, you automatically stop worrying.

1 pointYeah , Winners use T-Cam , Med. Traction and Driving Line with ABS.... Then bombs us Wheel Cockpit drivers by 2 seconds a lap , and feel great about themselves.
-
1 pointPads have built-in traction assist. People in many leagues switched back to pad just to keep up. I use a wheel and cockpit because I enjoy sim racing. If I cared more about winning at any cost, absolutely I would be on a pad and using TCam.
