3 pointsHey all, Thanks for the survey feedback. A big part of the feedback we received was to communicate what we are doing and more often. So, please see below for the latest high-priority developments for F1 2019 and what the Development Team is currently working on. Keyboard Binding Support (XBOX)- Thread- We have a proposed solution in final stages of testing. This is due to be released in the next patch coming in January 2020. Safety Car. We have some tweaks which are planned to improve the deployment behaviour which are currently in test and hope to release in a future patch. League Improvements. Thanks everyone for the feedback on the new 2019 leagues feature. We are continuing to make improvements to this and are hoping to have some updates released in a future patch (Hopefully the January 2020 patch upcoming). Wheel vs Pad Abilities- Thread- We are currently investigating statistics within leaderboards across all platforms to track data and any circumstances where one peripheral has an advantage over another. Our current findings are that, over the course of a race season, the difference is minimal. If you have any extreme scenarios (track, game mode, huge difference in timings etc) that you would like for us to gather data for, please add it to the appropriate thread. Logitech G29 Rotary Dial Mapping Issue. We have a proposed solution in test at the moment. Pending confirmation of these test results, we are hoping to release this in the next upcoming patch. Please continue to use the correct and appropriate forum threads to discuss, give constructive feedback and provide evidence where possible. It is always being monitored and appreciated. Once we can accurately re-produce an issue, we can start putting in place the fixes (where possible) to issues and improve the overall game experience For some topics, especially for some that create the most discussion with everyone, an update can take some time as more people from Codemasters will usually be involved. Once I do have a note-worthy update on things, I will keep everyone updated with anything else that is high on our agenda or any progress on the above.

1 pointWe have spent a lot of time on here complaining about a lot of things in this game. I have be guilty of it, and I will probably complain about something in the future. However, I want the thank Codemaster support. I raced all season with one goal; be in the Gold Tier at the end of the 2019 Championship Event. I did it. BUT.... When I went to open my phone last night to collect my reward, it glitched and restarted (as usual) and lost my rewards. I sent several not kind messages to the support team. I got more mad every time I raced someone with the black and silver car last night. But lo and behold, I woke up this morning and they had restored my rewards. I even got to open them the proper way. Thank you Codemaster Support for promptly responding to my issue and solving it so fast. This really is a great game. I spend way too much time on it, and I probably will in 2020. See all of you next year! and if you wreck into me, I will come for you lol. Happy New Year!!!!

1 pointHi, i have bought a f1 2019 legendary edition, and i experienced a lot of problems. It seems to be a waste of money. The installer is fully automatized and install only the english audio, but i'm italian. There is no way to install any other audio language, i don't want the english version of the game, i had paid for the italian version of the game. I try to install this game with the dvd, also with steam, but result is the same. There are not compatibility problem, with the audio card, the english audio working perfectly, the italian audio files are missing, and every localised part of the game not work There is a way to resolve this problem ? it seems to be not tested the game installation properly

1 pointthis is just a simple UI thing, but it needs clarification, in my opinion. basically, the staff upgrade for your Co-Driver (Phil Mills in English version) allows you to send your car to the next service station in the event after you get terminal damage. an example of the screen is below. for me, there are a few problems with it: the phrasing of the question (especially using the word "return") gives the impression you'll be sent back to the service area before the stage you just broke your car on, allowing you to try the same stage again. it needs to be made clear that selecting "Yes" will give you a DNF for this stage, as well as all remaining stages before the next service station - and this action cannot be undone. it also needs to be made clear that selecting "No" will send you to the end of stage menu, where you can either Restart the stage (if possible) or Retire to the end of th Event (as well as see the Replay, Quit to Main Menu, etc) and in case you were wondering, yes, I'm just a bit salty because I've known how this screen works for at least 6 months, but selected Yes by accident because the instructions were unclear and thus I basically ruined a whole championship for myself in career mode.

1 pointMost likely when season 4 ending they announce, like they did with season 3 and 4 at the end of season 2. And since they are talking about year 1 with gamepass that only nakes sense if theres also a year 2

1 point1st of all what platform are you using the game on as you did not state that bit?
-
1 pointWell, conditions should be optimal for speed, no track degradation and full daylight. (I'm exerfit (racenet name))

1 pointThe issue is more that we who bought the Deluxe Edition from the start, because we believed in the game and the DLC's, we have to pay a lot more than people waiting. I see games released in October, that's on the top sellers list on Steam with 10-20% off during the sale now. But I, with my Deluxe Edition have to pay full price for Season 3+4. The least they could've implemented was that owners of the deluxe edition would get some percentages off the 3+4. I mean, the Super Deluxe Bundle have additional price off due to it being a bundle. But as I own the Deluxe Edition, and not Deluxe Upgrade, I have to pay for the Deluxe Upgrade (which I have) as well, thus I won't get anything out of the Bundle-Rebate. While the Super Deluxe buyers now get DR2.0 with 70%, Deluxe Upgrade 50% and additional rebate on top of that for buying the bundle. It's ridiculous. It seriously angers me.

1 pointsame. I got 123rd or something(!!!) I get Tier 1 regularly in R2 and H2 FWD classes (especially in longer events when more people retire), but wasn't expecting to be that high...

1 pointI do know that feeling very well I have ran 100% races pretty much since 2010 I used to get around 3 seasons finished between releases until the 2017 game then family and work life took a bigger chunk of my spare time. I tried half races on 2017 to try and get multiple seasons done but this lasted 3 races it was sub par at best. Only just managed to finish my 2018 first career season with Williams I only scored 4 points all season our car was simply not good enough but it was the most immersive season yet as it was a transition from pad to wheel in Hungary then manual gears came fully by USA all no assists. This brought added satisfaction and realism. My tactic was to instead of drasically improving aero was to increase our engine advantage early season and try and score points at the power cicuits. Seasons best 9th came at Austria then a point at russia and brazil. Small aero upgrades arrived in the last half of season but we were still worst car by seasons end just. Strolls sole point came at monza so we only scored 5 points as a team. We were 9th for a short time but upgrades from sauber (alfa) in the second half of the season and LeClercs speed bumped them into the top ten a fair amount and we were over 20 points away from 9th in the end. Weirdly my rep with Williams is pretty low I played mostly without flashbacks but rep was severly pubished by some AI ramming causing DNFs. Despite out qualifying stroll and out racing him my rep with williams was 7th worst and since the new contract system came in where you can pretty much go anywhere I have a rule where I will only negotiate the top 3 rep teams so I have Torro Rosso sauber and mclaren to chat with 🙂

1 pointYes, thank you. The whole reason I recently have gotten into circuit racing is because of this. I'm a huge rally nut, and one thing I love about our clubs/leagues is we do punishingly long gaps between service stops - you really have to think about taking care of your car. Which is what I love about F1 - these are 90 minute battles where maintaining your pace while managing your wear/use is just as important as passing the driver in front of you. Do you know how amazing it felt finishing 8th after fighting with Kimi, Norris, Danny Ric, and Stroll for the previous 30 laps? The stress of sitting on Mediums with 10 laps on them already while they pulled out of the pits with a 2-stop Softs is indescribable. Trying to expand the lead I just stole by planning the 1-stop from the start, jumping from 12th to 6th during the pit, but **** Leclerc and Perez are just leaving the pits now. Testing how far I can push it without wasting the tires put me at a new level of concentration I rarely achieve. Realizing I messed up and stressed the tires too much, too early, with 14 laps to go - Leclerc already blew by me and Perez is pushing me and causing mistakes. ****, do I just let him through?!?! Ok whatever, I've still got 8th at least!!! Do I try to ride the limit or ease up 0.5s a lap hoping it helps my average time for those 14 laps?!? There is only a 5 second gap to Kimi in 9th and Danny is right on his ass... OH GOD WHAT DO I DO!?!??! Every little decision I made counted. And it felt absolutely amazing crossing that finish line. 0.1 left on the fuel gauge, 0% in the ERS system, and 60% wear on those tires. I barely even scored points for Alfa Romeo. But I can count on a single hand how many times I have ever felt that satisfied after not winning something.

1 pointit annoys me too, but I just feel like it's something that is so obviously unrealistic (and makes life so much harder for players) that they must have put it in the game like that knowingly. so it's probably not easy at all, and might push the game engine and/or consoles (and low-end PCs) too hard.

1 pointIf you're racing online might as well use assists as most others do for consistency. If you're doing time trial turning assists off is a cool way to see how much faster you're getting. If you're doing career and intend to put plenty of time into the game for several months you will feel more achievement by turning assists off and noticing the gradual increasing of your abilities. If you plan to blast thru a season with short races might as well use assists for the fun factor. If you want to get more involved and do half or full length races you may find assists get pretty boring after a while as you never crash or make a mistake. Remember in real life most drivers don't have perfect races every time, it's part of the drama of the sport. With longer races I promise you will have much more fun if you relax, turn the ai down pretty low (so if you spin off you can still get back at least once during a race) and race with no assists. After the first season you will then turn racing line off for a further challenge (after a full length race you wont need it anymore! Theres no shame in playing the game how you want to, after all you paid for it! Maybe when you have a day off or a boring weekend ahead try a full length grand prix with all assists off. You can lap to your hearts content in practice learning the car and track and no amount of wrecks will stop you. Turn medium damage on to get more of a thrill or off at street circuits for less frustration! Don't do qualify until you feel confident in the car and your skills then go for qualifying using the full length real life sessions. It's very exciting just getting into q2 then maybe q1. Treat each car you pass or beat for a lap time as a victory in itself. Live the dream but have fun too!

1 pointAssists off is definetly the way to go. While I agree its easier to be consistent with assists. You cant be on the edgecall the time with assists off I find my race pace is slower than qualy but a fair amount and I have to drop the AI by 5 points. Doing one fast lap is not a real representation of speed is what I learned 🙂

1 pointSometimes practicing for hours can be counter productive and frustrating. I find the easiest way to learn tracks is first to know them like the back of your hand. Easy way to do this is just setup a full length race with ai low so 50 and drive them 70 laps or so. Just follow the lines of the cars in front and eventually when you get more confident practice passing them. Once you know the track itself get on YouTube and watch some pole laps from pro drivers during real life qualifying sessions. This part is the most useful as you can observe braking, turn in and acceleration plus the incredibly useful gear shifts they use (I bet you change down lose than they do.. I did!). Eventually you will improve until you are at your best average and then will have good days and bad days but a lot more fun. Yes, like Marcel said, don't worry about the setups as they are so unrealistic they can actually teach you bad habits (for bad habits watch YouTube gamers cheat the system!) It doesn't help that the 2019 F1 game has poor handling relative to real life and other recent F1 games. I'd recommend picking up 2018 or 2017 while you practice as cornering is so much easier (and fun!)

1 pointHere some simple thing that need adding. These pictures are from a old game made in 2017. These types off information would improve the game & driver. But to do so we need a actually video/telemetry built in replay system. Also the possibility to change tyres in the pit lane even when parked up & yes just like in real life a small delay because of this. We should be able to use full access to the wheel we have. I.e my F1 add-on when used on PC have 29 function but yet in the PS4 version has 17. We should be able to get 26/25. You may say it's due to the PS4 but I remember when we had two buttons press to = extra items. ∆+×=super kick . Remember this game was made in 2017 & still played to day. So it's about time we have a base game that can last more than 1 year minimum. If the problem is due to size off application, you have to options. 1st option. Makeless offline modes focus on improving the game look feel telemetry video replay wheel improve online everything in general improve features I could go on. 2nd option. Make two games 1 based on the modes you have now with improved online features. 1 base with improved online with full telemetry & video with little offline like GP & Full career starting with F2 or Karting. Just an idea.

1 pointI think it would be nice to see some features like: Practice mode with all kind of options like equal car performance and the E-Sports car Ability to practice racestarts Quick pitstop in qualy when having enough fuel for another lap Assign separate buttons for ERS, Fuel mix, Diff and or brake balance without opening the menu of the OSD screen More realistic ERS (Ability to make maps for race and qualifying for example) Other possible improvements can be adjustments to FFB (For more realistic and precise steering/driving) also in my opinion the cars in F1 2019 are having to much understeer. F1 cars should be more pointy with steering.
-
1 pointMajor key points that would be greatly appreciated: - Sense of speed (please have a look at raceroom racing experience, while driving or accelarating. It really gives you the sense of fear and reality) - No gravity feeling from the wheel at all. Feels like driving something fake or on ice. Vertical downforce on ffb should be added - Less colorfull graphics, would add realism and increase framerate - Faster revs increase (gears should be able to reach top, much faster, like real F1 cars) Thank you Codemasters!

1 pointSure until the season of 2020 starts and some teams get other liveries and you want to race in the new car and when it's Zandvoort GP you feel bad because you can't race it. Nah I want F1 2020, where can I pre order?
