2 pointsyes, what a pity Codemasters didn't put actual, real stages in the game /sarcasm

2 pointsIt's a shame this LEGO Ideas project didn't make it into a real set. Could be done as a MOC though.

1 pointHey all, I have some more good news ahead of Season 2's arrival in the next few weeks: after listening to your feedback and testing ideas, I can confirm that the option to adjust the length of races in Career mode will be included in the Season 2 update. From the main menu screen, if you head to Options > Gameplay > Difficulty, you can find the new option to adjust race lengths in Career. It is set as default to x1, which is the usual race length. You will now have the option adjust the race length x2, x3, x4, or x5. The multiplier applies to each individual race - so if you're participating in a three-race event within Career, and each race is usually three laps long, applying the x5 multiplier will mean each race is 15 laps long. This option will be available on all platforms when the Season 2 update is downloaded. So, it'll be available at the same time for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, then when we launch Season 2 on Stadia at a later date, it'll be available on that platform too. We're pleased to address another much-requested feature from you, the GRID community, and are looking forward to seeing you take advantage of the new feature! Time to get ready for some marathon Career play-throughs... Thank you 🙂

1 pointWell, okay... Of course "now" it makes sense.... I also exchanged vice versa where the controller and the wheel were plugged in... They now both work and I Thank You very much. What surprises me is that nowhere on the Internet those questions have answers or even have been asked. Am I that ignorant? [the answer is... yes of course!]. I am going to have more questions such as eventually removing the driver's "assist" which also I cannot find the settings. But, for now I am just avoiding not getting off course or crashing! Same with the green dotted line... Maybe with more research... I remember when in 1972 Atari Pong came out... fast forward to F1 2019! A void on my part in between and now at 74 moving on into it again... Never had so much respect for Formula Drivers!!! Thanks again... Ara

1 pointIs this available for Oculus store users or is this another thing they get neglected on?

1 pointI guess you haven't seen them in action up close then... Not sure what your purpose was with the first video. The second video is Ragnotti showing off and not trying to be as quickly as he can, which is the point of rallying/racing especially at the top level where the WRC's are used. The last two videos explain exactly what was wrong back in the day and clearly show you the reason why the cars were banned and strict rules were set out for spectators. So again, no idea what the point of those were either to be honest unless you want to get back to 'no rules' which will eventually result in numerous people being killed or injured and another class of rally cars being banned.

1 pointI don't think it works that way. Cars don't seem to accumulate dirt and damage. They reach 'trashed' look in 1 or 2 races, and then stay like that forever. So after your car is clean, it will get dirty within 1 event, and you will be happy again. There's no 'history' here. If you like your scratches, then you'll have them back after the 1st or 2nd turn of any race 🙂

1 pointI'm Irish and the British Isles is technically correct. Now if you go and say I'm British I'll give you Terminal Damage though 😅
-
1 pointI know the DiRT1 UK stages were in the Kielder forest. AKA based on the Pirelli rally.

1 pointGrabbing another 50 or so for the next few months of posts, thanks everyone 🙂

1 pointCompletely agree, should be an option to restore the car. As someone said before, what professional race team brings a banged up car to the track, they even polish it between sessions!

1 pointHello! I'd love to see this livery in the game (for the fiesta R5) but i've never done any livery. Is someone working on it, or can somebody please do it? It would be great. Thanks!

1 pointTry to change the MSAA one step - have a look in the hmd - and then switch back to your normal MSAA. All like it was before. I got a shock too when I started it first time after the pacht

1 pointVery surprised Grid team didnt patch this so far its been out long enough design choice by them is more like lazy or ooops we forgot and had no idea this happened and dont want to spend time to fix it. I know an update is due out soon for season 2 I can only hope this is fixed just like they promised to fix the change your car number bug
-
1 pointDefinitely agree with all your comments guys. Probably some of you remember the 'wash car' option from 'Racedriver GRID', which allowed us to wash (or rather repaint) our car. 🙂
-
1 pointNeed to learn 2 pedals before learning 3 😉 Also outside of DiRT I'd never use it.
-
1 pointCar should just reset their state at the beginning of EVERY race, and then gradually become dirty and scratched while you're racing. Every race should start with car in mint condition. This was a normal thing in G2 and G:AS and I have no idea why they changed it to this thing that we have now. No 'wash' button is needed. Just automate the thing and le me finally enjoy those liveries I created.
-
1 pointI'm afraid that those ugly scratched and dirty cars are 'artistic choice', there's no way to clean your car, ever. Though, selling the car and buying it again MIGHT do the trick (never tested this), but it will work for one race only 🙂 I just hope that @ChrisGrovesMCM will finally raise that issue with the team, because NOONE likes that 'artistic choice'. Because right now, there's no point in spending your time painting your cars... and then finding out that during the race, they look like trash anyway.
