Honestly there’s so many locations around the world and each has loads of great stages. I’d be very happy with whatever we get IF we are to get new rally locations

It's Colin's Scooby, that's all I've ever wanted, now I can finally recreate CMR on my PC with modern graphics, happy days!

Yes you've hit the nail on the head, but when games are rushed out vastly overrated and overpriced and full of bugs ,. It takes the whole enjoyment out of it, ,that's probably the biggest gripe I have with codemasters and then trying to gag you because your comments aren't acceptable to them but it's ok when there games aren't acceptable to the many thousands and thousands of customers paying top dollar for bare minimum games , sorry but ain't that the truth, ,i would honestly love for this community to be positive and fun but poor games at high prices brings the opposite affect, we still support you codemasters but your draining the life out of many of your good customers .

The livery definitely looks like like 97 (no 555)

It definitely looks like the 97 wrc car but it sounds like the 95 Group A car to me🙈

I think that is unlikely as Colin only demoed the S12b, but it would be incredible if they got it in!

Well considering we’re still just getting teasers it’s a bit early to say it’s gonna be ‘just one car’. Let’s wait until official confirmation, now is the time for feverish speculation!

Been a while since there was any activity in this topic but, with todays teaser, it looks like we can add the 1997 Impreza WRC to the list!

And the McRae rally challenge is back this year at Knockhill just down the road. Yep, something might just be coming this year thats a little more special, and that DR2.0 is onboard with and contributing to.. 🤞🏻 For UK viewers, look out for Chris Harris running L555 BAT in this series of Top Gear too

Round 6 of the Official DiRT club - Finland Not my best event, possible because of my lack of experience and i think a wheel is much more usefull on these fast stages. Although I finished, i still dropped a few places in the standings.

i have been playing rally games for probably close to 20 years and Dirt 2 (on PS3/PC/Xbox 360) still remains the best arcade-style rally game i've ever played. the stages are great, the graphics still actually hold up well, especially on PC, and it has a large selection of cars and disciplines.

Not my mod. Some guy ported the OLD Grid track to Assetto Corsa. Then I added SOL (weather), Custom Shaders Patch, a custom PPF and Reshade on top. Says a lot when your track from 5 years ago looks like a generation better on a 5 years old game with some free mods than in your new game from 3 monts ago... Barcelona City - McLaren P1 Mods + Custom PPF + Real Head Motion + Reshade Full track race with dynamic night to day.

We should be able to choose our own car in these online races, not just at the start of Skirmish.

In rallycross qualifying the random times from the other races are usually way off, they should be around the same level as your physical opponents. I play career mode on elite level, or freeplay with 75-85 difficulty, and on most tracks there is a 7-8 second gap between the physical drivers you race against and the random AI times. On Killarney it's 16-20 which is just mind-boggling. 4-5 seconds per lap on a 1km track. That is a staggering mismatch. 7-8 seconds for 4 laps is huge and that is on most tracks. This makes offline racing near impossible. I can't have the kind of race where I have good close racing in both qualifying (where I compete against the random times) and in semi-finals/finals (where I compete against physical AI opponents) because there is a huge gap in their levels. In freeplay if I set the difficulty so that physical AI drivers are around my level, then I will never get past qualifying since the random times are far faster. If I set the difficulty so that random times are around my level, then semi-finals and finals are laughable since the AI drivers are way too slow for me. This kills offline rallycross. It might have been a bot as well. It only makes me wonder if we play with any real players at all.
