4 pointsWhat if the Hyundai deal with the WRC8 devs was a timed exclusive and it's now green light to add both the R5 and RX Hyundai?

1 pointHi everyone! I try to write things quite shortly (but for me as a rally fan will be hard i guess), so... For new games from DiRT Series i would like to see: Most off all, new rallies, stages and cars and also to have the possibility to create your own stages with a normal stage creator/editor tool. We should be able to do what we want when it comes to doing the stages, for example we could choose many types of corners and straights and jumps or add all the things alone like trees and all the objects into the places where we would like to have them or recreate real life stages. Also the return of making car liveries like in DiRT 4 would be nice, and even better if we could do even more there too. Cars which i miss: American Rally Association Cars (ARA) like the WRX of O. Solberg or D.Higgins , maybe some R4? Colin McRae R4 if possible? And for sure at least one past 2010 WRC cars like Citroen DS3 (I would go for Kris Meeke DS3 2016) and at least one car from the new Era of WRC from 2017 Maybe M-Sport Fiesta 2017 or Toyota Yaris 2017-2019 if possible. Of course it's still just a idea and things i'm sure many would like to see, but we will see what will be possible. A Citroen Xsara would be cool. And when it comes to the Subaru Impreza which will arrive in March 24 for DiRT Rally 2.0 for future games i would like to see more the 97 version without this big air inlet on the roof and with slight differences on front bumper as well but of course keeping the same official banana styled livery. So in general, it should look like the Impreza from Colin McRae Rally (1998) or Colin McRae Rally 2.0 instead of that what we will get now so the 98 version instead of 97 which is also more popular because of Colin on Bunnings Jumps or scoring manufacturer title and missing 1 point to Tommi Makinen in drivers championship. but now let's move to other more precised things: General improvements and innovation in physics/car behaviour would be nice and that you need to turn the car and fight with it during the corners like make countersteers. (Depending on cars you should be able to go sideways and keep the grip as well but fight with the wheel and do those countersteers) It works good in DR 2.0 too. Also if you would do the game like with DiRT 4, i would like to see very good simulation physics like in DR 2.0 and for sure even better one but also Arcade physics for beginners. Probably better tarmac physics which many people say is the most important thing to change now, and also a very good Force Feedback. (I'm feeling ok with current conditions just in case) More reaction of the parts of the car when you hit something a bank or a rock. If you hit a rock with rear or something else then you can break the suspension easier like it is in real life, and also getting punctures like now if the hit is big but not the biggest one at the same time. + Punctures if you drive on something hard on the ground probably depending on type of tyre and tyre conditions or how much you hit the objects. Also like i wrote previously every part of the car should react more if you hit something, i don't say the bodywork need to get totally smashed because i know that some manufacturers can not allow for that, but at least you should be able to damage more the parts you have in the suspension areas or the tyres and so on. Also make sure it will be not let's say too much complicated and too much hardcore appearing too much, because you need also the confidence of the cars and driving them on proper physics, otherwise if there is too easy to crash and the damage is too harsh then probably it's not real and also no fun anymore. Staggered Starts: Like in DiRT3. (But this is the thing to consider because of some people which could cause trouble) So maybe Staggered starts with ghosts only in moment if you drive into direction of other player or when you are near the opponent to avoid a crash or to not get a hit from your rival. Stage design: No places for cutting, a lot objects if possible or at least penalty system if you cut in places like in F1 Games or WRC games which we saw already. Leaderboards: Possibility to see a replay of your opponent. (Maybe) But at least would be better for players to verify if someone is driving fair. WARNING! (Especially) Do cars with the real regulations! That means don't make Lancia Delta having this real power of 330HP and being the overpowered monster from Gr.A Try to limit overpowered cars and that they will be equal like all would have 300hp as for regulation and all able to perform nice. (it's disappointing to see a 95 Impreza which was super quick in real life losing with the Delta or even Lancer VI a lot) Or at least do some categories like 93 year, 95 year 98 year or something else. There is probably a lot ways to make it more fair for those categories to make the cars nice and equal and that all those cars will deserve to have the chance to be fast and fight against other manufacturers car. I think there is still a lot more nice ideas, for example dynamic weather, snow in rallies where it can happen rare like Wales (old years) or other rallies in the world, like we saw once in Sebastien Ogier testing for Spain in Snow. Real Co-Driver comeback of Nicky Grist or put a current WRC Co-Driver? Also as polish fan i would like to see a polish Co-Driver. For me the best possible one would be Maciej Szczepaniak and also improve the translation and pacenotes a little in many other languages as well. So if i remind myself even more or find new ideas i will edit this text or just add some new ideas in the comments. Also i invite you to put your ideas here and tell your thoughts about my ideas and answer if it could be a option or not and if it's possible to do. I'm not experienced when it comes to what is possible for Devs to do for the future games but i'm sure many good ideas could be used. Greetings to all! 🙂

1 pointDiRT Rally and DiRT Rally 2.0 provide an off-roading experience like no other, and have a reputation for challenging drivers to find their limits and break them. They can be difficult games to get the hang of initially, so let's ease you into that with the DiRT Rally School! The DiRT Rally School is a series of tutorial videos breaking down the complexities of off-road driving so that you can start your virtual rallying career on the right foot. We'll go through basic driving techniques, vehicle characteristics, road variables and more. As you continue to play and learn through experience, refer back to these so that the teachings are fresh in your mind. You'll find the videos embedded below, and the full playlist is also on our YouTube channel. We'll see you on the road and hopefully, on the podium. Good luck on your journey. Looking for more tips? The Community Rally School has plenty of videos from fellow players to get you up to speed:

1 pointAll right, since the flat out pack is will very probably be final pack, let's start a new fantasy wishlist, i'll update this post with each new entry Rules : Only cars that have been used in rallying Classes must be mentionned and if needed justified Silly entries that do not fit rule #1 will be considered but if accepted be putted in a silly class which cannot be used in championship whatsoever. Cars currently in DR2 are not to be added as they are to be considered added by default. Yes, in the subtext the Evo VI, if kept, is switched to the 2-liter 4wd class instead of staying in Group A Let's start : To Be Determined Renault 8 Gordini Ford Escort RS1600 BMW 2002 Turbo Lancia Beta Coupe VW Golf GTI Mk1 Mazda RX-3 H2 FWD Opel Kadett H3 RWD Talbot Samba Rally Renault Alpine A310 Toyota Celica 2000GT Toyota Supra Turbo Group B RWD Mazda RX-7 FB Nissan 240RS EVO Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Ferrari 308 GTB Mitsubishi Lancer 2000 Turbo Toyota Celica TwinCam Turbo Renault Alpine A310 V6 Group B 4WD Citroën BX 4TC Audi Quattro S1 Peugeot 205 T16 Evo1 Group A Toyota Celica GT-Four ST165 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185 Mazda 323 AWD Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V Nissan Pulsar GTI-R Group N Subaru Impreza WRX STi N12 (2007) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 Group N 2.0L 4WD Ford Focus WRC 2001 with Martini Livery Ford Focus WRC 2002 Ford Focus 2005 Citroën Xsara WRC 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6.5 (Group A but competed in WRC) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo WRC 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo WRC 2005 Subaru Impreza WRC 2003 Seat Cordoba Silly Ford Transit Van

1 pointDiRT Rally 2.0 Road Book – 16/05/19 By Christina @xtinaistyping · On May 16, 2019 "We want to give a huge thanks to the entire community for their feedback and patience while we’ve looked into implementing these changes – especially to those of you who’ve taken the time to come back to us with incredibly useful, nuanced feedback about your FFB experiences. It’s worth mentioning that while this is the first big update to the FFB, it’s definitely a work in progress and we plan to refine the feeling further. Please – let us know what you think." WE ARE IN FEBRUARY 2020, nothing more has been made about the FFB ! Is it planned to be updated for Dirt rally 3.0 ?

1 pointHyundai have been doing a great job getting the R5 into championships all over Europe in the last couple of years so it would really be the perfect last piece of the jigsaw - not fussed for the RX version but at least it would indicate that Hyundai and Codemasters have a working relationship. I don’t expect it, but maybe the dream isn’t as dead as I once thought!

1 pointAnother issue that I would like to have in the F1 saga is the rear wing damage, every time someone crash to another only have bad consequences for one car. Punctures should be as well if you crash with your front damage to another back of the car.
-
1 pointWell it is odd that an RX team mentions and tags DiRT in its post with the real car without being in the game, other that teasing it might get into the game.
-
1 pointSo I see Grid 2019 is on 50% sale again. 😂 Instead of just lowering prices and going on sales, just fix your game Codemasters.

1 point@BarryBL Are Codemasters audio department at Barcelona Spain for the 2020 Pre-Season Testing, to record real life audio footages and onboard engine sounds once again? Imo, F1 2019 the game had the most realistic engine sounds so far in the franchise, but it was missing the final tweak to make the pitch a little bit higher for maximum accuracy for all engines, and the Turbo Whistle sound of the Mercedes was not prominent enough. Hope @issueskid @davidjgurney can deliver a even better mix this year and give audiophiles a blast to be remembered.
-
1 pointWhen the sound is just right and recorded well /sampled high quality you can just close your eyes on the start line and almost imagine you are there. The way our brain receives and interprets video /audio is totally different. Our imagination comes into play with visuals and as long as what we see is realistic even if it has obvious pixels our brains fill in the gaps. With sound tho we have no brain enhancement available so if we hear a muffled or unrealistic sound that's what we have to work with. A good example is animation on TV. If the voice actors are high quality with good scripts and acting we don't even notice how basic some of the animation is. South Park being an obvious example! So yes, good quality sound rocks!

1 pointFew more ideas that I don't think have been mentioned here. Tyre change limits for clubs. It would be awesome if we could limit the tyre changes so that we couldn't change tyres on every service. This would add more strategies to the game. Improved "Stop by marshal" spots. Most of the stage have enough road from the end of the stage to the marshal where you stop at. Some stages have issues with this. Especially Jagodno where the marshal is too close to the end of the stage. And why the jump on Abies Koilada is after the stage and not in the stage? There needs to be enough distance to the marshals so we don't have kill them or damage our cars and if there's any jumps, they need to be in the stage. Alternative rallycross layouts need to come back. They were fun in DR1 but why aren't they in the game now.
-
1 pointOFF TOPIC: Although they were far from proper rallying, I really enjoyed the early X-Games rally events!
-
1 pointI just want more rally courses. Just put the missing track content from Dirt Rally into the Dirt Rally 2.0. I don't give a rats about Colin McRae scenarios. If I want to crash helicopters I just play GTAV.
-
1 pointIt is funny because you are the first person, who mentions VR. Don't you really believe that Codemasters will not add VR from the beginning? Especially after what they did with that while making 'DiRT Rally 2.0'? I think they learnt something, didn't they? Fantasy tracks??? What fantasy tracks??? And when it comes to locations, they should add more locations from start, not through DLC.

1 pointHi everyone, first post on these forums. I'd like to say that I've been enjoying Grid 2019 quite a bit, but having stepped in from Grid 2 and never playing Grid Autosport, I feel a severe lack of impact on the world you race in. What happened devs? Why was the decision made that no one is called out by name anymore? In interviews you guys were so happy to tell everyone that you guys made a bunch of AI all named with specific aggression stats and such, so why not have them in voice lines? To add to that, why did the nickname system have to be removed?! OMG, I felt so happy being able to choose my own nickname, and then being called out by that name made my experience just that much more immersive, but no, you're nameless now... Also, my point of no impact goes further, smashing someone into a wall and getting them as a nemesis only for the next race to be best of friends again feels like I'm pressing a reset button on every race... The impact point also sticks for damage, please add in a legacy damage setting, and just get that absurd Grid 2 damage system where just a slight bump would make your car constantly veer right or left would make this game be more in line of what the other games before it did, that chaos, that destructive power is all gone in this game. I changed one of the call out options on my controller to be the announcement of damage to my car, but when I pinball from 1 wall to the other I still get the answer "No new damage to report". Then lastly, get local co-op in, me and my bud have been destroying each others cars and racing untill the death in Grid 2, but that feature has to wait a while then I guess. What I do have to give this game credit for is its chipping damage model, seeing those cars lose all its paint when you rub it against a different driver feels nice. The cockpit cam is really fun, makes me feel like I'm driving. And lastly, the weather effects look very nice. What I would like to recommend you guys add/ bring back to the game: 1. That legacy damage setting I previously mentioned. 2. Bring back the normal street cars that Grid 2 had, those were fun. 3. Add a new tier of cars which just break speed limits, like the one koenigsegg car from Grid 2 that had the ability to go 430 km/ph which could only be achieved on the oval track which was DLC. 4. Add more map variety, I love the amount of small differences you guys added in layout, but I personally think different scenery would be more fun to drive through than different layouts. 5. (Optional), Add really over the top custom lobby settings, I think that would create a game like no other, image the following: popped tires mode, so all cars are slidding on metal wheel frames, or monster truck mode, where cars have huge wheels, or 6th gear only mode, where every car is stuck in 6th gear so takes like 3 minutes to get to 100 km/ph, or what I think would be hillarious is all tiers allowed mode, where you could drive the fastest of the fastest GP cars against the slower but more steerable tuner cars or something. TLDR: Grid 2019 is proving to be a nice game, but my god, I think it has lost some of its chaotic energy from its ancestors and should definitely try to get that back for it to be a strong game in the market.
