F1 2019 been a really good game but changing the ERS on almost every corner and lap is a joke! F1 drivers don’t do this they have overtake button. Surly they don’t change it every corner!? I can’t concentrate on driving and changing ERS all the time. I use to race in leagues but got frustrated with saving ERS all the time.

When I see the trees I see broccoli and it makes me feel hungry so I have to quit to eat. So yes, because of these >>>> 🥦 🥦 <<<< my racing experience is ruined 😋

After investigating with the development team, we've found the source of the issue: - A certain selection of post-launch cars are missing a small bit of data that's reducing or removing rain effects on the windscreen - There's no 'downgrade' or discernible difference in the rain effects since launch. The issue is stemming from the selection of cars. - The issue's been identified and a fix is on the way - Current ETA is later this month Thanks 👍

DiRT Rally 2.0 Road Book – 16/05/19 By Christina @xtinaistyping · On May 16, 2019 "We want to give a huge thanks to the entire community for their feedback and patience while we’ve looked into implementing these changes – especially to those of you who’ve taken the time to come back to us with incredibly useful, nuanced feedback about your FFB experiences. It’s worth mentioning that while this is the first big update to the FFB, it’s definitely a work in progress and we plan to refine the feeling further. Please – let us know what you think." WE ARE IN FEBRUARY 2020, nothing more has been made about the FFB ! Is it planned to be updated for Dirt rally 3.0 ?

there is even visible cross on the distant church: Are there any news from modders? It's vital to increase LOD in this gaem

@ChrisGrovesMCM could you relink this comparison above to the official GRID tweeter? or better the Codemasters because it'll be fair to us. this fatality downgrade is so obvious that there should be warning with one of those pics on the front side of the box of Grid are you going to do something about it?????????? would you buy if you knew it was a step back this caliber ??

Done a little photoshoot, sorry to those with OCD.... For absolute fairness, set both games to ultra detail. Running a poor old GTX 970 on a I7-3930K... 2019 was at 40ish fps and 2014 was at 90ish fps.

Hyundai have been doing a great job getting the R5 into championships all over Europe in the last couple of years so it would really be the perfect last piece of the jigsaw - not fussed for the RX version but at least it would indicate that Hyundai and Codemasters have a working relationship. I don’t expect it, but maybe the dream isn’t as dead as I once thought!

Timed exclusive is surely the most likely option, isn't it? Seems hard to believe it might come this late in the lifespan of the game but, in true Gossip thread fashion, I want to believe!

What if the Hyundai deal with the WRC8 devs was a timed exclusive and it's now green light to add both the R5 and RX Hyundai?

First of all, all current content should return, so all cars/locations. It would be a shame if they were just made/updated for one game and after not will return. A photo mode is definitly needed. Not only for the players, but it is basically free marketing for Codemasters as well (more/better ingame images will be made and shared on different socials). The career mode needs certainly a new approach. It should be seperated from MyTeam (which is basically an online kinda career). The career mode should be offline and should have a tier system as kinda in Toca Race Driver or games like MotoGP / Nascar Heat. Starting in local short events in lower classes. Also check out the career modes of for example MotoGP, Nascar Heat. There is a lot of possibility here with trying to secure budgets with sponsors, the choice of arrive&drive or build your own team, working with driving licenses (starting in club/national, and growing towards international), updates of car mechanisms, historic events implemented in the mode, a calender implemented (so maybe also need to make a choice which events you take part in and which not, or full programs, or partial programs, trying to build a social base (I think the Monster Energy Supercross games have this, but they not do much with it) which is important nowadays to secure budget and attract sponsorship (this would be also the base for less good players, they still get their growing social base for more money to grow in the tiers), a good team (A status, highly trained, repair faster, better engineer recomendations, less mistakes) or good car (A status, good condition, latest updates) is more expensive to pay that go for small amateur team (E status) or less good car (E status, no updates, bigger change on issues during an event), etc. A livery editor is also something that despirately needs to come, together with a database as for example https://www.tradingpaints.com/ is for iRacing. People can post and share their liveries with others and easily import it into their game (not limited if that is PS, Xbox or Steam). Next to that this is also needed if Codemasters wants to go serious with e-sports and leagues (even if they not organise it themselves). E-Sport teams and league drivers want to show their partners also on the car, and that is totally not possible now. Btw, follow the template style of iRacing, you not put on numberplates, but this will be added by the game automatically. On for example the RX cars in iRacing, the numberplates will be added, but also the name of the driver will be added automatically on the windscreen banner. The same can be done for Rally cars. A improved Broadcast mode for online, again to get e-sport, leagues more serious) with for example timing, overlayed ghosts (for rally events like WRC games have), etc. Possible to upload a Series logo for online events. Possible seperated in a series logo and event logo. This will be shown on the broadcast in a corner, but also on the numberplates of the cars. If not uploaded, than automatically the DiRT Rally logo will be shown. The amount of drivers on a server should be increased from 8 to minimal 16. Higher would be even better. Also this would be needed for e-sport, leagues and better multiplayer. It's strange it is not possible now, as the F1 game can host 20 players online. An improved website which uses elements of Raceroom, so you can check leaderboards, drivers ranking, you can filter the leaderboards well (location, nationality, rank, class, etc), competitions (clubs) organized by partners with prizes for competing, etc. A Rallycross track editor, i have explained this in my suggestion topic. Basically a RX version of the MESX or MXGP 2019. Also would like to have a rally stage editor, but I think this might be a bit to complex. More suggestions I have: Two more things, not needed but could be gimmicky A recce mode. For me it is not really needed, but I notice a lot of people would like to change/edit notes. So a outside mode where you can drive a location slowly and edit/change notes to your liking. A navigator app. (also this is not something I want, but could be a funny gimmick) So a app for a tablet, where the pacenotes are being shown on together (of possible) with a minimap. The sounds of the navigator and the icons in the game can be turned off and a friend can read the notes from the app. As the real co-driver would not feel the movement of the car, something need to be figured out the timing of the notes.

Hi everyone, I've added this revised ERS format as a suggestion to the developers for consideration for future titles.

Are you trying to be funny with that comment?? No room for that type of talk on here, specially about Colin McRae😡

"Understeer enhance on" takes away some of the control over the wheel, it feels less accurate when understeer occurs to correct the steering, but in the contrary it also helps to exaggerate the feedback of understeer to give a easier feel to where grip is about to get lost. "Understeer enhance off" gets rid of this feel and has greater control overall, but takes a little bit of a learning curve to understand the grip levels and when grip is lost. Some of the fellas in my league use it, but only to get a finite maximum amount of lock to assist them in knowing when the grip is about to fall, it doesn't make them faster though, actually they found "understeer enhance off" to be quicker.

@ChrisGrovesMCM First of all, thank you for investigation of the problem. But it doesn't end here. I'm sorry to say that but your video clearly demonstrates... OBVIOUS DOWNGRADE! Look at these water streams after the wiper movement: Now try to find them on your video. You won't be able to do that. So, please, ask your team once again - why did they downgrade rain effects. Thank you.

" You don’t need the locking screw if you are using the quick release so you can just pop the rims off and on as needed. " That's not true, the locking screw should be tightened pretty hard to prevent the rim from moving on the contacts/shaft. You can damage your wheel and base over time by not keeping the screw tight when using substantial FFB forces.

As post above, if the system does not work and has issues it need to be suspended or removed until such time it is fit for purpose, having you progress deleted by racenet on a whim is ludicrous. Why have to connect to Racenet every menu step in career mode, do it once at end of rally with your stage times and if its down store until next time its up and you connect, very simple and way most other games work.

You need to look at what the limitations of Racenet are. Then extract a solution that isnt binded by those limits. Which is when the internet goes down theres no ability to contribute to any of your career. Heres some solutions to racenet: Local Hotseat mode (again almost every racing game has done this. P2p rallys (eg Warframe, Splatoon, unreal tournament) Local hard drive save files (Pretty much every game since the 90's has done it like this including the previous dirt rally. Queueing saves for when internet does become available. (leave a process on in background eg. Assasins creed oddysey/ubi launcher) Just make all data offline Move online events into a multiplayer portion of the game unattached to the career mode. Just revert to whole Dirt Rally was run. Should also mention if codemasters ever decide to shutdown the service would they act in good faith and allow people to move progress to offline or even transmit that data into a new game? If you played "F1onlinethegame" you might remember what happened to that game after a while and the loss of both progress and the ability to actually play the game when service was shutdown.

They need to take the hint and bin racenet totally, it is pointless and just causes issues.
