  2. That would be a great idea. I wonder why they didn't play any of the previous GRID games before working on this one. Hmmmmm.

  4. Hey what about like old grid vote to kick players out of lobbies, some kind of rank of style of driver e.g clean driver to basher, also ready up needs to be majority ready up race starts not when host decides.

  6. SET Promotion (team also runs the Gronholm RX program) returns to ERX Super 1600 with a Twingo (the car I would also like to start with in the Dutch/Belgium championship) RX Academy Champion Tuominen to race in Euro RX Super1600 with SET Promotion https://mailchi.mp/32a1a08c2635/rx-academy-champion-tuominen-to-race-in-euro-rx-super1600-with-set-promotion

  7. I knew I shouldn't have started the rally so late, but I thought I was awake enough to at least finish a stage or two before I threw my car at the scenery!

  8. We should call this "The Wales effect" ! This rally is really tricky.

  9. Well at least you got further into the event than I did @JorritVD: less than 10 corners into the first stage and I badly overestimated my corner speed and threw my Fiesta straight off the side of a hill. I probably could have carried on, but I was so annoyed that I rage quit!

  13. *hoping for both the 2018 and 2019 i20 RXs as well as the R5* (and don't forget the Nitiss and Heikkinen liveries) however, I suspect that Gronholm is like us: he likes Dirt, and wants his car(s) in the game. and that's it.

  14. I think it is a fair argument to say one of their cars should have won the Championship last year. I blame Niclas appendix.

  15. Team's working on it and we're drafting patch notes over the coming weeks 🙂 1.13 will be the Colin update, so don't expect it until the end of March.

  19. The chassis (and I believe some of the drivetrain components) used for the GRX i20 came from Hyundai Motorsport, but that is where the official connection ends. I did originally wonder if the absence of the GRX i20 was due to a similar issue to the EKS S1 in DiRT 4. I agree that it could just be advertising, but the Tweet Instagram post is oddly specific.

  20. Spot on. In several respects I find DR2.0 "easier" than DR1: because the behaviour of the cars is more consistent and, in my personal opinion, more realistic. Some of the collision and jump physics in DR1 seemed well off at times.

  21. I disagree, I'd say WRC5 was the worst. 7 at least had interesting stages. As for WRC8 vs DR2.0, it really is up to one's taste. Some days I feel like cruising in Renault Alpine or drifting like crazy in 911 R-GT so I play DR2. But when I want the intense modern rally action, I put on WRC8. It's really good after proper ffb tweaking. In some aspects it's even more realistic than DR2, eg. tarmac handling or damage system. 30 fps doesn't bother me, I always remind people of SLRE which was awesome and also 30 fps. No need to hate on any of the two games. DR2 for historic rally and grave
