I do recall Christina mentioned that they would check on the feedback provided and make changes as necessary. And well I guess the changes to be made were not significant when they saw the other things to fix. Don't think they were trying to deceive anyone. 🤗 Please remember also that there was a lot of indecision from the community on WHAT changes should be made, if any.

'Sigh' Its not a scam, just a change in decision. Do I like that they changed their minds about improving the force feedback more like they promised, Hell no I dont! I wanted the FFB to be tweaked more also, to have more information and to have better tarmac feel. But priorities change all the time for games developers, its a fact of life. But lets not kid ourselves here. Its not like the force feedback currently in the game isnt working as intended. Its a lot better than it was at release, and provides more than enough information to still get the job done.

you are reading the sentence wrong. "definitely a work in progress" means that CM does not consider it to be something they are 100% satisfied with. "plan to refine the feeling further" means they want to make it better but are not 100% sure that they will. there's no scam lol the people who were working on ffb had to stop working on other stuff for the game in order to modify and test it 9-10 months ago, and they had other stuff to do which was more important, so ffb lost priority. it says something that the only other person who seems to agree with you is someone with three total posts who tries to insult my family when he has nothing else to say.

The key word is plan. this is not a guarantee things will change. In english, saying you are "planning on doing something" does not at all mean you will do it. also, the feedback from players was positive, so this was probably added to the list of things that were "imperfect, but good enough" that they would take a look at again later if there was time. there clearly wasn't time. someone is asking for compensation? unless this is a mistranslation, I think we have an entitled gamer alert... and I'm pretty sure there weren't thousands of gamers who only bought the game after the ffb was improved and they believed CM was promising to improve it more lol you have two posts in this forum. if you wanted things to be changed, you could have posted here 9 months ago. en plus, la langue qu'on utilise ici est anglais. ceci est parce que c'est la deuxième ou troisième langue du majorité des gens ici. si tu veux que les gens t'écoutent, apprends-le ou utilise google translate. // in addition, the language we use here is english. this is because it's the 2nd or 3rd language of the majority of people here. if you want people to listen to you, learn it or use google translate.

So this is works as should. Game depolys sc/vsc when accident happens or retirement car parks in dangerous place. You don’t have accidents and retirements are in safe place so thats why you dont have sc. (i hope i wrote everything clear)

The chassis (and I believe some of the drivetrain components) used for the GRX i20 came from Hyundai Motorsport, but that is where the official connection ends. I did originally wonder if the absence of the GRX i20 was due to a similar issue to the EKS S1 in DiRT 4. I agree that it could just be advertising, but the Tweet Instagram post is oddly specific.

At the end of the day, with a few exceptions these are all things you shouldn't notice or be bothered about because you are meant to be hammering it around the track and looking where you are going and not sight seeing. The issue is there is so much that is lacking in the game compared to previous Grids that you have no choice but to compare and see is it really #LikeNoOther and the answer is yes, it really isn't like any other, its so much worse. Off the top of my head: Fewer game modes, missing are: elimination, endurance, checkpoint, drift, drag, demo Fewer tracks, only 1 sprint (cant be licensing). Lower quality gfx... see above Botched multiplayer: slowly getting fixed but needs more settings like limit grid size and no tuning or lobby text chat. **** car tuning: maybe just me but i prefer gearing, front/rear suspension, downforce, ride height. @ChrisGrovesMCM could you relink this comparison above to the official GRID tweeter? or better the Codemasters because it'll be fair to us. this fatality downgrade is so obvious that there should be warning with one of those pics on the front side of the box of Grid are you going to do something about it?????????? would you buy if you knew it was a step back this caliber ??

Done a little photoshoot, sorry to those with OCD.... For absolute fairness, set both games to ultra detail. Running a poor old GTX 970 on a I7-3930K... 2019 was at 40ish fps and 2014 was at 90ish fps.

it's almost impossible to show on video the AI problem especially during a race...( share during a race... no thanks) ! and no it's not the same in career mode...but it's just as impossible that codemasters by doing one or two league races don't realize the problem themselves instead of asking us for proof..

I disagree, I'd say WRC5 was the worst. 7 at least had interesting stages. As for WRC8 vs DR2.0, it really is up to one's taste. Some days I feel like cruising in Renault Alpine or drifting like crazy in 911 R-GT so I play DR2. But when I want the intense modern rally action, I put on WRC8. It's really good after proper ffb tweaking. In some aspects it's even more realistic than DR2, eg. tarmac handling or damage system. 30 fps doesn't bother me, I always remind people of SLRE which was awesome and also 30 fps. No need to hate on any of the two games. DR2 for historic rally and gravel, WRC8 for modern rally and tarmac, that's how I see it. Let's just be happy we have two really good rally games on the market.
