    There is not much that can be done with this. Codemasters made sure mods will not be interfering with their DLC and obsolescence plans. This game is a total pile, and not only in the visual aspect. There's no saving it changing some textures or even models here and there. There isn't a proper foundation underneath all that for any effort to make any kind of sense. The best thing Codemasters could do at this point is the same they did releasing GRID Autosport as a "sorry, we know we fuqed up" after the general disappointment with Grid 2. It took them 1 year to release GRID Autosport after Grid 2. But hey, if they ever do, they'll be taking another $60 from you... I'm not going to buy any more Codemasters games, ever, before release. If I ever do, it's gonna be after a lot of serious reviews, not some paid youtubers promos with early access and free preview codes.

    As @ChrisGrovesMCM mentioned in this thread, in the upcoming Community Update for the 25th of February, we have fixed a bug with some cars not showing the correct rain effects. This update will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC simultaneously (10am GMT) with an update for Stadia coming in the new future. Click the post above for more info on this Community Update.

    Community Update - Patch Notes (25/02/2020) As discussed last week, we have been working hard on some community-requested features in GRID. As always, thank you for your feedback and ongoing support. We hope you enjoy these changes - after all, you asked for them! Bugs Fix for Hot lap joining issue grid placement. Rain on the window screen is working correctly again with all vehicles. Features Added the ability to tune vehicle in the pause menu in Skirmish (Once in Skirmish mode: Pause > Vehicle Tuning > Tune to what you like > Apply) Added the ability to remove scratches and dirt when changing liveries or changing vehicles Once you have driven with a vehicle it will have built up scratches and dirt, changing your livery will automatically clean your vehicle, entering into the garage and finding the vehicle you were using will give you the option ‘Clean and Respray’ in the tooltips at the bottom of the screen, press the right trigger button and this will clean your vehicle. This can also be done in the vehicle select menu screen as well. Note – The vehicle can only be cleaned if you own it Added a stats screen (To access the stats screen: Main Menu > Player Profile > Edit Profile > Statistics) This will give you stats for the following: - Distance Driven - Career Events Completed - Total Drafting Time - Cars Overtaken - Distance on Racing Line - Good Corners Taken - Total Gear Shifts - Total Air Time - Distance Driven on Two Wheels - Total Drift Distance Update is now available across Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For Stadia, these changes have been included with the release of Season 2.

    right, lets hope he could do some pressure on GRID team to make this game great again 😉 overall this game has the best driving model I found, well balanced between whell and pad users. the main issue is poor ambient graphic as for game of breake 2019/2020 and we found that textures are so much better in Grid AS from 2014 😬 so it seems that this could be easily improved and we all wish and pray for it 🙏 the same is about those trees which simply require remodeling of a few 💩 basic units 👺 this game could sell better and set standards in raceing if the TEAM 👥 gathered strength and improved those elements that so strongly spoil the good experience of playing GRID

    Sorry but changing car tuning setup in skirmish is pointless, we don't know what the tracks will be, sure we can see the location but not which variation, usually we would have 4 races lined up and you might want short gears for Paris and long for Silverstone for example. If you mess up the setup when in skirmish you have 4 races to play before you can fix it. I don't see why we couldn't still have a variable hold screen between each race for tweaking setup like in every other grid game. Constantly reinventing the wheel here ffs!

    Currently career vs free play First invitational event (Mini Cooper on San Francisco Short Circuit B) 1st place career (not counting cost or teammate, to have a consistent comparison) = 18,750 CREDITS 1st place free play (again, not counting cost or teammate earnings) = 782 CREDITS (only 4.17% of career mode) this is on hard difficulty, no flashbacks, no ABS, no TC, no stability control, no racing line, manual shifting, interior cam, terminal damage enabled. All we are saying is that THERE IS A HUGE GAP between career and free play.. We get it, you want us to prefer career mode, but can we please have a more reasonable difference? only 4% payout means we have to spend +-25 times more time to unlock a car for same amount of effort?

    Thought I would post this here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B8vwI4cDKJT/ I don't think it is enough evidence to confirm that we are definitely getting another car for DR2.0, but perhaps (hopefully!) there might be a car or two more to come after the Flat Out pack?

    The key word is plan. this is not a guarantee things will change. In english, saying you are "planning on doing something" does not at all mean you will do it. also, the feedback from players was positive, so this was probably added to the list of things that were "imperfect, but good enough" that they would take a look at again later if there was time. there clearly wasn't time. someone is asking for compensation? unless this is a mistranslation, I think we have an entitled gamer alert... and I'm pretty sure there weren't thousands of gamers who only bought the game after the ffb was improved and they believed CM was promising to improve it more lol you have two posts in this forum. if you wanted things to be changed, you could have posted here 9 months ago. en plus, la langue qu'on utilise ici est anglais. ceci est parce que c'est la deuxième ou troisième langue du majorité des gens ici. si tu veux que les gens t'écoutent, apprends-le ou utilise google translate. // in addition, the language we use here is english. this is because it's the 2nd or 3rd language of the majority of people here. if you want people to listen to you, learn it or use google translate.

    I figured out how to do it. For Mode 0 record a macro for A Left Left Left B Left Left Left Left Left. In game settings bind A to Decrease Fuel Mix and B to Decrease ERS Mode. Also you have to bind Left on your keyboard as your MFD navigation instead of Left on your D-pad. And don’t forget to bind Right/Left on your wheel to input the Right/Left keys on your keyboard so you can still use the MFD manually. Works with Quali Mode as well if you bind C and D to Increase Fuel and ERS respectively and do C Right Right Right D Right Right Right Right. The reason why you have to do A then Right x3 is that there’s no delay when you press right on the D-Pad.

    At the end of the day, with a few exceptions these are all things you shouldn't notice or be bothered about because you are meant to be hammering it around the track and looking where you are going and not sight seeing. The issue is there is so much that is lacking in the game compared to previous Grids that you have no choice but to compare and see is it really #LikeNoOther and the answer is yes, it really isn't like any other, its so much worse. Off the top of my head: Fewer game modes, missing are: elimination, endurance, checkpoint, drift, drag, demo Fewer tracks, only 1 sprint (cant be licensing). Lower quality gfx... see above Botched multiplayer: slowly getting fixed but needs more settings like limit grid size and no tuning or lobby text chat. **** car tuning: maybe just me but i prefer gearing, front/rear suspension, downforce, ride height. Totally broken damage system. What 2019 has got going for it imo: Weather/time of day Track limits penalties Car handling

    @ChrisGrovesMCM could you relink this comparison above to the official GRID tweeter? or better the Codemasters because it'll be fair to us. this fatality downgrade is so obvious that there should be warning with one of those pics on the front side of the box of Grid are you going to do something about it?????????? would you buy if you knew it was a step back this caliber ??

    After investigating with the development team, we've found the source of the issue: - A certain selection of post-launch cars are missing a small bit of data that's reducing or removing rain effects on the windscreen - There's no 'downgrade' or discernible difference in the rain effects since launch. The issue is stemming from the selection of cars. - The issue's been identified and a fix is on the way - Current ETA is later this month Thanks 👍
