3 pointsplease, option to remove "reset to track" on multiplayer races, when anyone spin he need back to track by yourself, not disappearing and appears on track like magic

2 pointsWell, the moral of that story is, don't drink and drive kids... Car was a basket case after the first 2 stages, then I threw it in a gully on stage 4.
-
2 pointsUpdate: Crashes when selecting quit to main menu too. Crashed after first race of career using no expansion content. Crashed in historic and didn't save the result. There is nothing about this game that is playable right now.

1 pointFabia Rally and C4 Rally has got 1-1 "real" livery only. 😞 I could make 10 liveries for each, but i can't do that because they are already locked (crypted) So my question is: could you unlock all the DLC cars? 😄 Or at least could you share a .pssg files instead of locked .nefs for modders like Me? It would be a win-win connection! 😉

1 point@PJTierney yea the difficulty for very hard (set at 91) should be spiked for players that don’t own wheels and have to use controllers, I know a lot of devs think a controller is as fast as a wheel set up but the effort required has to be god like, and in some cases it just isn’t, meaning your catering to the 0.01% of gamers, if you want to make it insanely hard past (91) by all means but give pad users a fair chance at completing it The event in question is the 1998 Monte Carlo event, its just too much, with my skill I’ve been able to do all up to this on very hard at (91) with not too much difficulty but I’m quite good at the game, 1992 Scotland had me beat for a full day of trying but eventually learned the stage well enough and put in a good effort, so they’ve not been a walk in the park by any means (as it should be on v hard) but then with this I’m miles off the required pace, it feels like the devs have just decided to increase the difficulty from 91 to 110 here by default, with a controller here you just can’t do the stage times pros with wheels are doing, can you get back to me and let me know if this is being looked into, I haven’t done any of the later events after this so I’m not sure if you’ve made them progressively harder as you get through them but something has to be done with this event for sure, thanks

1 pointGreat idea. Send me a free copy of the game and I will gladly join the grid... 😁
-
1 pointthe most funny thing - it wasn't rushed release. The game was developed without lobbies by intention! Looks like game designers never played any racing game. Absolutely lame!
-
1 pointThere is another update scheduled so I would imagine bugs will be dealt with there.

1 pointI don’t think you will find an example. Have been looking but can’t find any in the last decade. However, that’s not the point in this discussion. You can argue about the logic which there is not 😜, but the request is to open up the tire choice which is logical and the option to only change the front wing and not the tires. I would agree to the first option but don’t see any need for the second option.

1 point1.22 is supposed to alter the Vehicle Reflections settings from Ultra High preset = High preset. If you can go back to the Ultra High and try turning things down to match High 1 by 1 then post a dxdiag, it might be useful to the devs to see if other settings need attention (not downgrading but some of the effects coding against different driver releases).

1 pointI have posted a couple of replays on my YouTube channel and the only thing that i hear is the 'cut off engine sound' with some cars. Like they don't rev at some times and the car is lacking power, even when i shift manuel (i think this has to do with the lag i encounter in some races). The Flickering screen and lag i only notice when i race "live" and not in replays or captured footage on my PS4. I keep an eye on this and try to capture this on my phone or camera when it happens if i can.

1 point@PJTierney Been having an issues on Scotland, the same stage (Old Butterstone Muir) that others are complaining about in this thread (and other places on the forums). Its actually quite an issue, and the effect of it happening is amplified while driving at speed over it. When the FPS drop kicks in, it lasts from the bridge to the next corner entry just beyond it. In VR this is absolutly awful, and it causes motion sickness due to the stuttering and hitching that happens. The fps drop happens at only one specific point on the bridge, but it is far less noticable when playing on a monitor. Especially if V-synced to 60FPS, and have enough CPU and GPU headroom to deal with it. But on lower end/older hardware, and especially in VR. The performance headroom just isnt there to deal with it. It needs resolving. Playing on Steam using OculusSDK (and a 120hz capable LG TV when playing on monitor mode at 1080P) Thrustmaster T300 with T3PA Pro pedlals 2xTH8A shifters Oculus Rift CV1 Intel core i7 6700k@4.2Ghz MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X plus 8GB 16GB@3000Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX Video footage of it happening, and showing the point where it kicks in without fail every single time. And as said, the stuttering and FPS drop is worse when going over it at racing speeds.

1 pointI dont care how old this topic is. And I dont care how many times its been brought up. Toyota has as heavy rally history as any brand in the DR games. And considering the fact that the celica dominated group A in the 90s so much so that they made new restrictions based around the newest version of the EVO at the time to limit toyotas success, that should be reason enough. Toyota has lifted their video game ban BS. Now why dont codemasters lift their BS and give us some toyotas, instead of ANOTHER SUBARU. There were already 5 subarus. Not to mention adding the two door GC8 was a waste since the sedan GC8 was already in the game. You could have taken the chance to put in the Old Legacy, Which McCrae drove... Idk if you guys just have beef with toyota, but this whole only being able to drive a st185 celica in assetto corsa is old. Assetto isnt even a rally game. Like what a joke. A stock car road/track sim has the legendary st185 and the largest rally sim doesnt have a single toyota. even after toyota lifts their ban on their cars in games.

1 pointNice one Stevie! You forgot to add "wheel users stoked they get to compete on equal terms with pad users /patch nerfs wheel - boosts pad /wheel users cry in their beer" 🎡😢

1 pointThis is the normal cycle of F1 games. New Trailer -> Hype -> Features announced -> Hype -> Small amount of people say that they will not buy the game -> Hype -> Game gets released -> most are happy for about two weeks -> Problems start coming in -> People still consider the game good -> and then we come to this day in which most people active here are complaining.

1 pointI would like to see a realistic/Hardcore mode where you don't get guaranteed a seat whenever you pick at the start. You choose say 3 teams you have a preference for and then undertake a series of trials in relevant 2018 cars. As you progress in the trials you get points, and after reaching certain milestones each team offers you a seat with various incentives. To race for a top team you would have to get much further in the trials. At any stage you could quit the trials and take an offer or continue to earn more points to initiate a bidding 'war' between the teams for your services. A low team might offer you more input in the car development cycle, choice of being #1 driver, plus any perks available they can offer such as leniency in your interview responses. The contract might be for 2 or 3 years whatever your performanc. A high end team might say OK you get to be #2 driver, you do as we say and follow the company line in interviews. Plus the contract may only be for one season depending on results but could be terminated earlier after poor results. If you performed exceptionally well in trials the top teams that were not in your original selection may join in the negotiations and offer you a prime seat as well as carte Blanche to develop the car as you wish. These trials could take the form of the current super license, requiring you to pass before you can take part as a regular team driver. Obviously these trials would have to be fun as well as challenging, becoming a mini game by themselves in such a way even beginner drivers would be tempted to give them a go with obviously easier challenges. The challenges themselves could follow the special event format that has already been a part of the game for a while now but would actually give the events meaning and rewards. Extra points would definitely be available for clean driving and passes so a clean third would be worth more than a dirty first for example.

1 pointLocking the DLC cars limits the options of the game, please Codemasters to clear this uselessness.
