2 pointsBeing nominated is its own reward and a testament to the hard work and passion everybody at Codemasters put into creating and supporting the game. 🙂 Let's not forget that hundreds of games are released by UK studios every year, and fewer than 10 were on the shortlist. Not even F1 2019 (which was in my opinion the best F1 game ever made) was on that.

2 pointsSadly, the game does not meet the minimum required specification. The CPU is older than minimum spec i3-2130 and the GPU is lower spec than GT640. However, please set your page file size to Windows managed and try again.

2 pointsHi everyone, just got word from the dev team on this: There are no differences between the physics implementation in the VR version of the game and the non-VR version of the game. Also, to confirm: no changes were made to the handling physics in version 1.13 That should hopefully put things to rest for you all.

2 pointsHi everyone, I've raised this with IT to try to find a fix for you. I've also tested it and I'm seeing the same issues as yourself.

2 pointsMy guess is driving down Hollywood Boulevard 'as seen thru the eyes of Lindsay Lohan when nipping out to the off licence for more supplies in a 1996 Austin Metro, with Bradley Cooper sat in the passenger seat making the noise of a Veyron'. Either that or Codemasters have hidden the dubious LOD and visual issues behind some seriously hardcore motion blur

1 pointI dont have a racing whell and playing with the stick only is just not intuititive at all. I bought the game thinking it have support for Six Axis controller by tilting the gamepad LIKE ALL THE OTHERS RACING GAMES on PS4. There is no real reason why this is not supported. Please consider this for a patch!

1 pointA short description of the problem: When I try and continue from the title screen (where it says 'Press Menu Button'), the game crashes. I have approximately 80 hours in-game. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also attempted to start the game on the xCloud Beta with no success. It crashes with the words 'Communicating with Online Services' in the top-left corner, so I am guessing it is an issue with the game save or something with my Racenet account. As far as I am aware, I never turned off the game or console when it was saving or communicating with online. This has been occurring for approximately five days. Platform you’re on (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Steam): Xbox One Game Version (Shown on the Start screen in the bottom left hand corner): 1.22 Game Mode, including if it was Single Player or Multiplayer (Time Trial, Career, Grand Prix, Custom Game etc): N/A If in Multiplayer, how many players and how many AI?: N/A What happened in the lead up to the problem?: Nothing. Just started up the game to start playing. If you get an error message, the exact wording of the error message you're receiving: No error message. It crashes with the words 'Communicating with Online Services' in the top-left corner. Any accessories you are using (wheel, pad, etc): None If you have any videos or screenshots, please share them. If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears: Video (when the video ends, I am kicked back to the Xbox Dashboard): https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/whoisjohn117/video/92412048 Thank you for the assistance and input!

1 pointI have seen a guy complain it on the steam forum aswell. He thought it should be like hitting stones.
-
1 pointOk I realized I made that more difficult than needed and my brain kinda hurts. It goes by 0.5 percents. So if your position is 8.5 Or lower you will be top 8% if you are above 8.5 you will be top 9%. If you are equal to or below 10.5 you will get top 10% rank. If above you will miss out on the top 10% rank trophy. If you are equal to or below 5.5 % you will get the top 5% rank trophy. If you are above 5.5 % you will miss out and get the top 10% rank trophy. I will stop typing words now.

1 pointHi all, I`ve been working on software telemetry dashboard for Dirt Rally 2.0, then moved to creating hardware dashboard also. Dashboard is custom made from scratch, shell is 3D printed. Needless to say, each LED or digit can be set up through SimHub to display any telemetry data. Currently how I`m using it is in following layout. LEDs - First 2 leds light up when speed is over 150km/h - Leds 3-10 are RPMs - Last 11-12 leds light up when speed is above 170km/h Screens (7-segment displays) - 1 digit - Current gear - 2 digit upper - km in stage (maybe current lap in F1 games) - 2 digit lower - total km in stage (maybe total laps in F1 games) - 4 digit upper - speed - 4 digit lower - stage time (or lap time) Obviously, since it`s SimHub compatible - every single digit or led light can be customized to display anything you want for any game supported by SimHub (from pCars, ACC, F1, etc.). Since I`m improving on the design, I`ll have about 2 dashboards to give away for cheap (just to cover the cost of components, waaaay below anything you can buy commercially). I would only ask for a feedback and improvement ideas. If you`re interested, please drop me a PM, or share your thoughts here. I was thinking of USA only, but if you cover the shipping - why not, I`ll send it overseas. And case is 3D printed is in marble color in this particular case for prototype, but I have various others. Demo:

1 pointHm...description says the club is for beginners. I wouldn't count myself as that. Should I still join or do you want only beginners?
-
1 pointUnless your gonna bring back DRIFT and at least 3 tracks, where done.

1 pointIf you are as fast as the randomized times then semi-finals and finals will be a joke because the AI drivers are far slower than you. Also you will win every heat by a huge margin, for the very same reason. If you are as fast as the physical AI drivers then you are fast enough to win semi-finals and finals, but you will usually not get there because you will finish 16th in every qualifier since the randomized times are far faster than the physical AI opponents. It's not possible to have good offline racing on some levels because the difficulty is broken. The randomized times have to be around the same level as the physical AI opponents on the track.

1 pointThere was a period when I was really into WRC8, but after some time I reached a similar conclusion, it's a level below DR2 all things considered. Two things WRC8 does better than DR2 is damage and tarmac handling, the rest is sub-par. Still it's a good game though.
-
1 pointWell I was able to do so in AC, iRacing, rF2, rF1, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and BeamNG.drve I believe. I've said this before. Just add a possibility to bind neutral to some key in which case you cannot downshift to it anymore.
-
1 pointCompared to what exactly? I mean perhaps it'd be nice if the rain IRL didn't obscure things as badly as it does but Reality doesn't give a stuff about what would be nice, as far as Dirt Rally 2.0's rain goes the main windshield seems ok to me, from both VR and non-VR perspective though there is certainly room for improvement to the sophistication of it's implementation, besides that the visibility through the side windows *maybe?* seems always fixed to a high speed effect but I'd be more interested in them restoring the puddle-pull effects from DiRT4 before focusing on that if possible.(and of course tarmac handling)
-
1 pointIt's just every time i read that sort of thing (and the rain complaints) it reeks of the thinking pattern "oh if there was no external cameras I'd be better than these external camera noobs" But the truth is - It would make no difference.
-
1 pointI'd think of it as a sim at the game end of the spectrum, compared to GT/Forza, which are games - as opposed to a full on sim like iRacing for example. The recent e-Sport events using iRacing; IMSA, Nascar, Indycar were all pretty impressive - and attracted most of the top drivers, as I suspect most of them use it as a tool of the trade. Now compare to the F1 e-Sports event, which used a 'game' and attracted hardly any of the top drivers. It would be interesting to know what rally drivers use for a sim, and how Dirt Rally & WRC series compare. Also, why haven't we yet seen a WRC e-Sports event? Must be the only major series which hasn't bothered with one.
-
1 pointWhat exactly is your issue with Sweden? I'm trying to remember what was different was that the edges of the track made it not fun in DR1 because it would always spin you if you so much as looked at it lol.

1 pointDriver package is 2020_TTRS_1 and firmware is v11. Assuming you are running Windows 10 64-bit version 1903/1909 with an Administrator account. Install the above, do the firmware update, restart the PC. Check for correct operation in Thrustmaster CP. Set DOR to 360. Delete hardware_settings_config.xml before launching the game. Go into in-game settings and set controller scheme, remap as required, save as new scheme and play. Which bit does it (or you) fail at?

1 point@wito77, @moeppel0815 and @massa88, prizes have been allocated out. All you have to do is login. 😄
-
1 pointIn fact, GRID2 and Autosport also had overexposed sky, but it was... beautiful o_O
-
1 pointIt won't help. Because overexposed skies is the result of "artistic" eye adaptation. If you just low brightness level - dark places will become black.
