2 pointsThis is the normal cycle of F1 games. New Trailer -> Hype -> Features announced -> Hype -> Small amount of people say that they will not buy the game -> Hype -> Game gets released -> most are happy for about two weeks -> Problems start coming in -> People still consider the game good -> and then we come to this day in which most people active here are complaining.

1 pointPS4 Pro Version 1.13.0 On the new Impreza S4 the left headlight is broken in my case, it doesn't give any light either, only the right one. Nevertheless, the setup always shows that everything is supposedly fine.

1 pointBeing nominated is its own reward and a testament to the hard work and passion everybody at Codemasters put into creating and supporting the game. 🙂 Let's not forget that hundreds of games are released by UK studios every year, and fewer than 10 were on the shortlist. Not even F1 2019 (which was in my opinion the best F1 game ever made) was on that.

1 pointPossum Bourne - Rothmans Rally New Zealand 1993. I still live in hope that we'll be able to use this in game without issue in the future... Even if it's just a fool's hope... 😥

1 pointThe dutch site is relating to this article: https://www.racefans.net/2020/03/31/f1-2020-game-will-feature-all-22-tracks-despite-calendar-changes/ nice decision by Codemasters. Give us a full 2020 calendar so we can at least virtually enjoy all the tracks this year. I like it! 🙂👍

1 pointGot another game crash today right after pressing "Continue" after finishing a stage in "Glencastle Farm" under dusk/heavy rain/wet surface. As always, it's after finishing a stage with rain, and the access violation address was the same. Previously these random crashes I've had were under Career (either on rally Championship or community/ai events), because that's were I spend most time. Today's was on Freeplay > Clubs, while racing the current RaceDepartment championship event (5th stage on 10 in Scotland). It seems like New Zealand + rain and now Scotland + rain are the most prone for this. System details are on my previous post itt. Today's crash report was sent, and I'll also attach to this post the settings file along the error report screenshot. Curiously, these appcrashes never show on windows Event Viewer for dirtrally2.exe. Thanks hardware_settings_config.xml PS: @HoksuHoo had good fun fighting your times

1 pointwell, without races because chinese virus will be very hard do the game, he don´t know about lap times, car performances, what teams doing well, its really complicated and everything will be based on imagination, so i believe the release date back to end of august like before versions

1 pointPS4, Deluxe in scotland, on many portions of different stage, the french co-driver is very very very late, despite the setting on "earlier" at the most. And the sound of the voice is crackling and not flowing it's a shame, the rally is beautiful but it ruins everything

1 pointThis is the normal cycle of F1 games. New Trailer -> Hype -> Features announced -> Hype -> Increasing amounts of people say that they will not buy the game -> Hype -> Game gets released on a Friday (Codies go to pub without leaving out of office auto answer on) -> Despite 0 day patch game is still gimped -> More problems start coming in -> People consider the game a cut and paste of last year and a waste of money -> Patches are released, sometimes fixing stuff and have the unintended (?) side effect of breaking other things> Cycle repeats > Much guff is promised on forums> Game continues to annoy people> Something else is released> Most people active here are complaining because the game is still broken. Fixed it for you.

1 pointHello, I'm on Ps4; I have a sound problem since the last update: -IN SCOTLAND the voice of the co-pilot is very low and IN SPAIN the engine sound is very low, this problem is with the 208 R2, SUBARU GR.A .... Fix the problem quickly. Thank you
-
1 pointNo matter which car you drive in Scotland the engine sound is always too loud and so loud that the co-driver is very, very difficult to hear. That is only in Scotland

1 pointMy suggestions: 1) Stages/locations - would like to see two parts to each location rather than just one part cut up. WRC 8 actually does this really well, and it adds a lot of variety to the locations. In DR2.0 for example you just have El Condor in Argentina and not the flat bits at the bottom. So some of the locations get very repetitive and it can be difficult to even tell the stages apart. Some of them like Greece and New Zealand are not so bad (NZ has the forest sections, and also more open sections), but others get quite repetitive (Argentina and Monaco, for example). Also another snow rally in addition to or instead of Sweden. I love Sweden but it's been in the last two games now. How about adding the Sno Drift rally? 2) Codriver - mentioned this before but would like Seb Marshall (Kris Meeke's codriver) in. Would be nice to have a more recent WRC codriver in the game and his voice is pretty good. Also an option to choose between 'normal' calls (or whatever you want to call it) and 'detailed' calls, where detailed calls would have things like plus and minus and all the other things that WRC codrivers usually use. 3) Cars - as someone else mentioned, would like to see a fantasy category with 380hp 4wd cars with body kits like the current WRC cars. Just call it CM Rally or Group C (for Codemasters, geddit?) or something. I think Gran Turismo Sport does a similar thing with some of the rally cars in there. Also one or two more NR4 cars. The NR4 class is a bit limited at the moment with just two cars. Nothing else to add really with regards to the car selection. 4) More times of day added 5) Rallycross - add tire choice in. Used/new. 6) Community events - if there's going to be DLC in a Dirt Rally 3 I think there really needs to be better incorporation of the DLC into the community events. Maybe one way to go about this is to maybe just split the community events into two completely different sections - 'Regular' and 'DLC'. For example, at the moment there are no AI challenges for the DLC cars and locations, and being able to use the DLC is basically dependent on what shows up in the few 'bonus' events. DLC basically makes up 50% of the current game but seems to have far less than 50% representation in the community events. Those are the main things I can think of for now. Will add more if anything else practical comes to mind.

1 pointDamage is a part and parcel of racing. Some people like the visuals of damage in the same way people like the overall visuals of the game world. There’s something satisfying about surveying the damage of your car after a roll or a fender bender. If it’s the same every time then it’s boring. If I’m going to crash, might as well enjoy it. It’s hard to explain but plenty of people like it for a reason. It’s the same reason people like destruction movies and explosions in movies. The same reason people go to derbies or watch nascar for crashes. The crumpling of metal is satisfying. Yes you could get a game like wreckfest but that doesn’t cater too all my needs. I need modern racing car crashes that are believable in realistic scenarios. That can only be delivered by a game set in realistic situations. Hope this helps:)
