I feel these are the most important, but expansion in any class is welcome: H1 RWD - a class with potential for numerous lesser-powered antique rally cars. Volvo would be a fantastic here! Volvo 142, Ford Lotus Cortina, Mercedes-Benz 300 SE, Sunbeam/Hillman Imp, Volvo 122/123 Amazon Gr. B AWD - Audi Sport Quattro B2 from DR1, Peugeot 205 T16, MG Metro 6R4, Citroën BX 4TC Gr. B EVO - Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2, Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2, Lancia Delta S4, Ford RS200 Group A - Toyota Celica ST185/ST205, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 1-3 AWD up to 2000cc - needs to be split into early and late classes, with the 2005 Skoda Fabia being the first late-period car. Lancer Evo 6 relocated to 2000cc early please!

The only difference in game modes between DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally 2.0 is Landrush, right? Yeah, no thanks to DiRT 5, gimme DiRT Rally 3!

BMW M3 E36 and/or E46. E36's and E46's a a very common sight in national rally events Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. Imo one of the coolest rally Evo's. Or Evo VIII Classic Porsche 911 Porsche 959 Alpine A110 R-GT Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. Left field choice as this is not a racing car but an off-road concept, but surely there can be a left field choice or few among the established rally cars, would certainly add some variety

Its because Codemasters have chosen to cater for the 12 year olds. Once they start taking the Hardcore racers more seriously , then the real F1 drivers will also take the game more serious.

I don't think they will make that mistake again. Rally is a niche genre, and rally fans want authenticity. Casual players prefer open world games with supercars like FH or NFS, so an arcade rally game like Dirt 5 won't please anyone.

As now already stated by Real F1 drivers , f1 2019 although a really good game lacks realistic physic and tire model , I understand CM is about making $$$ too , but most of us like more realism like F1 drivers themselves too... Currently ACC , rFactor 2 and iRacing has really good physic and tire model , specially ACC is just amazing... Please for 2020 give F1 2020 real tire model and the arcade one it has

My guess is driving down Hollywood Boulevard 'as seen thru the eyes of Lindsay Lohan when nipping out to the off licence for more supplies in a 1996 Austin Metro, with Bradley Cooper sat in the passenger seat making the noise of a Veyron'. Either that or Codemasters have hidden the dubious LOD and visual issues behind some seriously hardcore motion blur

okay, great, thanks for the feedback. since we're talking about the community events might as well mention that the last week or two the selection was a bit off. there were a lot of F2 events, a lot of one other type of car (think it was H2 or H3 RWD), and a LOT of R2 events seem to have come up last week. and some events were basically doubles, for example, there would be two events with H2 RWD at New Zealand (I know the exact stages were different, but having two H2 RWD or something events at the same location is more-or-less a double). There was also recently a bonus event which, if I remember correctly, used Group A at one of the base 6 locations, when my understanding is that the bonus events should use the DLC. So it wasn't really a 'bonus' event. This week there seems to be more variety but the event generator seems to go a bit wonky every now and then. Since the game only has 1 or 2 patches left I'd really appreciate the team looking into it. Also, if there's an R2 monthly, for example, do we really need an R2 weekly in the same month since people can split their playtime for the monthly up over a longer time period, playing one event every week if they want? If certain cars and locations are used in the monthlies, ideally I'd like to see them appear less in the weakly and daily events for that month. Likewise if a car class and location are used in a weekly, would like those to appear less in the daily events. Just to give a bit more variety. Maybe that's too difficult to code in but just something to consider.

If thats the case it backfired. According this they only sold about 100.000 copies. Grid games are on the bottom row. But my opinion this game doesnt deserve to carry the name grid.

Hey all, This is just a quick message to say that we're switching things up a little in terms of the Community team's responsibilities for GRID. From now, instead of myself, @CMTGK will be your main point of contact for GRID queries, questions and feedback 🙂 This is because I'm moving onto an exciting new Codemasters project which I can't wait to reveal more on. Nothing's changing with the focus or priority of GRID; we're just moving some things around. I'll still be around and assisting with GRID where needed, and you'll certainly see me online in race lobbies! It's been a blast bringing you the news and updates on GRID, and then working with you to guide the direction of GRID post-launch. 🙂

Few more ideas that I don't think have been mentioned here. Tyre change limits for clubs. It would be awesome if we could limit the tyre changes so that we couldn't change tyres on every service. This would add more strategies to the game. Improved "Stop by marshal" spots. Most of the stage have enough road from the end of the stage to the marshal where you stop at. Some stages have issues with this. Especially Jagodno where the marshal is too close to the end of the stage. And why the jump on Abies Koilada is after the stage and not in the stage? There needs to be enough distance to the marshals so we don't have kill them or damage our cars and if there's any jumps, they need to be in the stage. Alternative rallycross layouts need to come back. They were fun in DR1 but why aren't they in the game now.

First of all, all current content should return, so all cars/locations. It would be a shame if they were just made/updated for one game and after not will return. A photo mode is definitly needed. Not only for the players, but it is basically free marketing for Codemasters as well (more/better ingame images will be made and shared on different socials). The career mode needs certainly a new approach. It should be seperated from MyTeam (which is basically an online kinda career). The career mode should be offline and should have a tier system as kinda in Toca Race Driver or games like MotoGP / Nascar Heat. Starting in local short events in lower classes. Also check out the career modes of for example MotoGP, Nascar Heat. There is a lot of possibility here with trying to secure budgets with sponsors, the choice of arrive&drive or build your own team, working with driving licenses (starting in club/national, and growing towards international), updates of car mechanisms, historic events implemented in the mode, a calender implemented (so maybe also need to make a choice which events you take part in and which not, or full programs, or partial programs, trying to build a social base (I think the Monster Energy Supercross games have this, but they not do much with it) which is important nowadays to secure budget and attract sponsorship (this would be also the base for less good players, they still get their growing social base for more money to grow in the tiers), a good team (A status, highly trained, repair faster, better engineer recomendations, less mistakes) or good car (A status, good condition, latest updates) is more expensive to pay that go for small amateur team (E status) or less good car (E status, no updates, bigger change on issues during an event), etc. A livery editor is also something that despirately needs to come, together with a database as for example https://www.tradingpaints.com/ is for iRacing. People can post and share their liveries with others and easily import it into their game (not limited if that is PS, Xbox or Steam). Next to that this is also needed if Codemasters wants to go serious with e-sports and leagues (even if they not organise it themselves). E-Sport teams and league drivers want to show their partners also on the car, and that is totally not possible now. Btw, follow the template style of iRacing, you not put on numberplates, but this will be added by the game automatically. On for example the RX cars in iRacing, the numberplates will be added, but also the name of the driver will be added automatically on the windscreen banner. The same can be done for Rally cars. A improved Broadcast mode for online, again to get e-sport, leagues more serious) with for example timing, overlayed ghosts (for rally events like WRC games have), etc. Possible to upload a Series logo for online events. Possible seperated in a series logo and event logo. This will be shown on the broadcast in a corner, but also on the numberplates of the cars. If not uploaded, than automatically the DiRT Rally logo will be shown. The amount of drivers on a server should be increased from 8 to minimal 16. Higher would be even better. Also this would be needed for e-sport, leagues and better multiplayer. It's strange it is not possible now, as the F1 game can host 20 players online. An improved website which uses elements of Raceroom, so you can check leaderboards, drivers ranking, you can filter the leaderboards well (location, nationality, rank, class, etc), competitions (clubs) organized by partners with prizes for competing, etc. A Rallycross track editor, i have explained this in my suggestion topic. Basically a RX version of the MESX or MXGP 2019. Also would like to have a rally stage editor, but I think this might be a bit to complex. More suggestions I have: Two more things, not needed but could be gimmicky A recce mode. For me it is not really needed, but I notice a lot of people would like to change/edit notes. So a outside mode where you can drive a location slowly and edit/change notes to your liking. A navigator app. (also this is not something I want, but could be a funny gimmick) So a app for a tablet, where the pacenotes are being shown on together (of possible) with a minimap. The sounds of the navigator and the icons in the game can be turned off and a friend can read the notes from the app. As the real co-driver would not feel the movement of the car, something need to be figured out the timing of the notes.

I, however, would sacrifice pretty much anything else for VR, particularly Rallycross.

I’m yet to see a valid argument for why this logic holds any truth. Some, not necessarily all, of us bought game A. Game B comes out later on and some of the content from A is made available in B. We purchased said content in game A therefore we have paid for it forever more and we demand it is free. With respect, you nor I know how much time and resource goes into the refresh of the DR stages into DR2.0 so how can we comment on how much it should cost? There is an easy way to make your feelings known on the cost of the DLC - don’t buy it.
